....ok, off the back of seeing it recommended here for plumped-up, dewy morning skin, I am volunteering myself as Guinea Pig...

I'll report back.

I put it under my eyes only. They do look refreshed, however I have just had my best night's sleep for a few weeks so the refreshment might be that! I am going full face tonight.

So to recap, smothering oneself in Vaseline before bed has three possible outcomes for skin: smooth and wrinkle-free; covered in hair; on fireConfused

Skyejuly · 06/06/2019 09:43

Mine didnt look any different this morning. Maybe I an past help!

Sarcelle · 06/06/2019 09:56

If you look up Vaseline FAQs it has a whole raft of answers. Not flammable, not pore clogging.

Don’t forget the danger of being so greasy you keep sliding out of bed.

EleanorOalike · 06/06/2019 11:17

I used it on my whole face last night after being so impressed with the undereyes. Not particularly pleased this morning!

My normal night moisturisers and serums seem to do a better job. My pores look more pronounced this morning ☹️. Sorry to be the sole voice of doom!

Rooftree · 06/06/2019 12:14

I tried it around my eyes and the skin definitely looked plumper the next day. I’m not 100% sure the plumper was a definitely good thing though, it looked slightly too plump. I’m going to continue and see if it does anything longer term

Loopytiles · 06/06/2019 16:35

Is a one day trial sufficient though? Posters not wishing to try it yet need more evidence Grin

EleanorOalike · 06/06/2019 16:49

My skin looked dry @Loopytiles so I’m scared to extend the trial Confused.

missfliss · 06/06/2019 17:11

Op here - on day three, still happy. Most impact around eye sockets and décolleté

I've bought Vaseline today, so will give it a go tonight.
Worried its going to go on my hair and make it more greasy.

Voila212 · 06/06/2019 18:01

Both Tyra Banks and Jennifer Aniston both came out and said they put Vaseline on their face and swear by it. I used to put it under my eyes but stopped. I started again after seeing this thread and must say I'm impressed, my under eyes look like I've concealer on them in the morning. I still use my usual products and put the Vaseline on top.

Normal blue pot Vaseline or can you use the green aloe Vera?

lotusbell · 06/06/2019 22:32

I forgot I'd done it when I got up this morning so cleaned my face without paying much attention to any effect. Have got into bed without doing it tonight and no point doing it now so I'm rubbish at this already! Grin

OldAndWornOut · 06/06/2019 22:33

I didn't know there was an aloe one.
Perhaps i'll try that instead..

AtSea1979 · 06/06/2019 22:47

I’m giving it a try. Found a tin of the lip one i’ve had a year or so, slapped a bit of that on. Hopefully my hair won’t stick to it

Terrysyogurt · 06/06/2019 22:55

I always manage to get it in my eyes!! Ooo maybe I'll get hairy eyeballs Grin

Tingface · 06/06/2019 23:00

Your eyes are going to self ignite at 3am Terry, and you’ll have no one to blame but yourself Grin

I’m trying it again tonight but it’s gone a bit blobby on my face. Maybe I’ve actually reached saturation point.

OR MAYBE IT’S THE HAIR STARTING.

Redhanger · 06/06/2019 23:30

Jumped on the wagon last night and happy so far.

JaneJeffer · 06/06/2019 23:30

Deadringer I think your method works best Grin

BusterGonad · 07/06/2019 02:16

I've done this a few times, I think it's a thing in places like Korea!
I've had the best results with my beloved Bepanthen!

Tingface · 07/06/2019 07:15

Definitely plumper and less lined around the eyes here again. And my skin looks brighter overall this morning.

Not as much difference on my forehead and décolletage but they feel much softer and smoother so I’m going to go keep going on them for a bit longer and see...

Sarcelle · 07/06/2019 07:59

Used it for second night around eyes. Impressed. My eyes look more awake than normal. Normally it takes a while for my eyes to settle these days!

Blobbyweeble · 07/06/2019 08:08

I’ve been doing this for 5 days now and my skin looks much better, wrinkles are much less pronounced and skin looks brighter. I’ve also put some on the back of my hands and I swear they look ten years younger! I’m in my fifties and was beginning to get real old lady hands so I’ll be carrying on with it.
