I'm growing it in from shaving it,I have no bleach left in it now.
It looks different colours depending on the light.

Doctor a bob has the advantage of showing off streaks ..... :)

Hiya
I've had grey anxiety (grenxiety?) a few times since going fully grey in 2017. It is a shock to the system and I still get startled if I see myself unexpectedly in bright daylight (I'm very light silver /grey). I am also job hunting at the moment and in my low moments get paranoid that I am aging myself out of the market (young industry). But overall I'm happy with the colour and am enjoying the edginess that comes with making a non mainstream choice Smile - along with the seat on the tube I get every day - grey hair is better than a baby on board badge as a guilt tripper!

Thanks Puppy :)

This isn't showing up on the threads I'm on for some reason...
Looks great Paul, I had less wobbles this time, but it can still be a shock when I catch a glimpse in a shop mirror.
My growing it is going well, I cut it and shaved the back and sides last week Hmm
I'm still using the Charles Worthington shampoo, I use the Ultra Violet one. I mix a small bit in with my usual shampoo. It seems to blend all my colours really well.
I'm very pleased with my hair atm Grin

Though I got this toner last October there is no visible regrowth so I can get just a cut with no colour. I use the purple shampoos and would love to try one of themany lilac purple bottles I have in my bathroom cabinet. So much easier to manage than my previous blonde

Loving this thread - I fully intend to go grey when the time comes! However, so far I seem to have no grey hairs at all this surprises me as I'm in my late 30s; however I am also ginger. Does that make a difference, does anyone know?

I think so - I'm naturally fair haired and it's only in the last couple of years I've noticed a few whites near my hairline. I'm 58 and have never dyed my hair, I expect it will just 'fade' rather than proper grey as such. Having looked at the photos on this thread I'm envious!

Hows everyone getting on?
This was mine on Saturday, I'm still cutting it short Hmm

I think you all look great.
I have tried to grow mine out and have chickened out soooo many times. Love the idea of just doing it but it worries me that:

It makes me look older.
I have to change all my clothes cause I don't suit them.
I have sallow skin and my hair wont suit me.
It makes me look tired.

What are your experiences? I have recently dyed my hair and I feel disappointed in myself. Also don't want to get it cut so will have to go through the pain of the badger stripe yikes!

Any tips?

If you're on fb definitely check out going gorgeously grey, lots of transition photos with longer hair, Pinterest is good too
Personally it makes my skin look better. Im very pale with yellow undertones. It looks really good with a bit of fake tan.
Tbh you don't know until you try it. If you don't like it you can go back to dyeing 🙂
