So my ears were burning and no I’m not telling how many coats I own
plus the leather ones are jackets not coats so there
@gin you look beautiful and superbly svelte in all your purchases as well as so pretty. What wobbly thighs?
Honestly you suit it all even the jumpsuit! Btw glad GP was sympathetic and fingers crossed with the treatment on the way to feeling your old self.
@Porpoise I have 2, maybe 3 Gudrun leggings and yes lovely pure cotton. Wash and last forever. If you’re in London worth popping into their Covent Garden shop, they have a basement full of bargains including bucketfuls of old season cotton leggings usually for a tenner. They’re very generous and I need S and take 12 size jeans, also stretchy and comfy. If you’re below a size 10 bottom you may find them too generous (sometimes they do XS sizes). I know Ale Hop! It’s actually a Dutch chain. Super cheap and cheerful stuff. And what a lovely Esprit maxi! So swishy!
@soups looking Fw to helping you decide which khaki jacket to keep
@never wise choices. I predict you’ll pick up the lovely embroidered jacket for a song at the sale.
@nink unbelievable! An hour holding!
hope you’re feeling calmer this eve
My poor DH. He’s now on the 800 cal lark with me. His old 34” jeans were too small. Got him some Boden chinos in a 36” waist but still too small!
He’s had a wake up call and we did his BMI and he’s seriously overweight (but thank goodness not obese) but he’s always been such a tall slim person it’s a bit of a wake up call. Bless him.
So I sourced some uniglo XL chinos with elasticated waist which were truly bargainous (£9.90 reduced from £35) which will tie him over till he shifts the 10kg he piled on since giving up smoking last November.
While I was there a pair of Ines de la Fressage wide leg cotton linen trousers fell in my basket (again reduced from £36 to £9.90) so that’s my fashion news for today.
The battle of the Flab is real at @Soy’s household
...but I was a teeny bit smug as my BMI is normal even though I’m trying to shift another 3/4 stone before June.
On homework read about Finland. They’ve banned ALL homework and have highest educational attainment standards...in the top countries!
Says it all really.
