So my ears were burning and no I’m not telling how many coats I own Grin plus the leather ones are jackets not coats so there Smile

@gin you look beautiful and superbly svelte in all your purchases as well as so pretty. What wobbly thighs? Hmm Honestly you suit it all even the jumpsuit! Btw glad GP was sympathetic and fingers crossed with the treatment on the way to feeling your old self.

@Porpoise I have 2, maybe 3 Gudrun leggings and yes lovely pure cotton. Wash and last forever. If you’re in London worth popping into their Covent Garden shop, they have a basement full of bargains including bucketfuls of old season cotton leggings usually for a tenner. They’re very generous and I need S and take 12 size jeans, also stretchy and comfy. If you’re below a size 10 bottom you may find them too generous (sometimes they do XS sizes). I know Ale Hop! It’s actually a Dutch chain. Super cheap and cheerful stuff. And what a lovely Esprit maxi! So swishy!

@soups looking Fw to helping you decide which khaki jacket to keep

@never wise choices. I predict you’ll pick up the lovely embroidered jacket for a song at the sale.

@nink unbelievable! An hour holding! Angry hope you’re feeling calmer this eve

My poor DH. He’s now on the 800 cal lark with me. His old 34” jeans were too small. Got him some Boden chinos in a 36” waist but still too small! Shock He’s had a wake up call and we did his BMI and he’s seriously overweight (but thank goodness not obese) but he’s always been such a tall slim person it’s a bit of a wake up call. Bless him.
So I sourced some uniglo XL chinos with elasticated waist which were truly bargainous (£9.90 reduced from £35) which will tie him over till he shifts the 10kg he piled on since giving up smoking last November.
While I was there a pair of Ines de la Fressage wide leg cotton linen trousers fell in my basket (again reduced from £36 to £9.90) so that’s my fashion news for today.
The battle of the Flab is real at @Soy’s household Sad...but I was a teeny bit smug as my BMI is normal even though I’m trying to shift another 3/4 stone before June.Wink

On homework read about Finland. They’ve banned ALL homework and have highest educational attainment standards...in the top countries!
Says it all really.

Oh and gin the fabric of that kimono or scarf or whatever it is hanging on your wardrobe door by the mirror is magnificent 😍

GinandGingerBeer · 20/05/2019 21:49

Thank you for all your lovely comments, I certainly don't feel pretty, so on the day of being prescribed HRT, I can't thank you all enough for your kind words. SmileWine
DH reckons jumpsuit is too big and it is in places. I've just ordered smaller size to compare but will keep hold of this one.
I have @ Ella Smile
Liverpool overwhelmed me a bit (ooh did buy a gorgeous skirt though, will post a picture) and I was most disappointed in my lack of retailing that day! Made up for it now!
I also bought a dress from H&M today. Lovely material, it's a bit big. I sized up in everything as I've put weight on but I'm that annoying in between sizes situation.

GinandGingerBeer · 20/05/2019 22:14

@soy its a dressing gown/kimono if you can carry it off, sadly I can’t but there are lots of pictures of taller women wearing it with jeans on Pinterest. It was originally Zara and I missed out on it but managed to find it on boohoo about 6 months later. It’s too small for me so I have to wear something underneath.

GinandGingerBeer · 20/05/2019 22:26

Thank you @ laska @ Soy I assure you I really do have wobbly bits a plenty but you are so right @nink, I really shouldn’t forgo beautiful things due to a bit of jelly around the thighs 😂
Right last two pics, then I’m off to hopefully get some kip!

H&M dress (doesn’t come out very well on the photo so I’ve put a close up on)
Topshop top and H&M skirt.

Night everyone and thanks once again for your comments.

You are very pretty Gin

GinandGingerBeer · 20/05/2019 22:48

Oh bugger now I’ve managed to post one of myself with a scrunching in and no make up on 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 20/05/2019 22:52

And you STILL look fabulous Gin!!

GinandGingerBeer · 20/05/2019 22:54

Scrunchy not scrunching.
You’re very kind, now get yerself to specksavers pronto!! 😂
They are very similar aren’t they Ella? I love the colour of yours.
Hope you are much much better today

SoyYo · 20/05/2019 23:27

Ooh just checking in before bed, that kimono is fab fab!
The skirt is also very beautiful @gin and the dress is great too. And yes you still look lovely with no makeup and scrunchy. It amazes me how we women see every little flaw yet manage to ignore the big picture.
Great great haul!

Tomorrow I’m in one of our U.K. offices so a long day awaits...time to get some beauty zzzzz. Night night!

SoyYo · 20/05/2019 23:29

@Ella that dress on you...perfect!
Indeed I too hope you’ve turned a corner with the new biotics and on the mend Flowers

justilou1 · 21/05/2019 00:37

Love that cinnamon colour, @Ella! Now I am on HRT, what is left of my hair has gone darker (weird) and I am exploring a whole new wardrobe of colors I have never worn before, including Autumnal shades which previously made me look like I had hepatitis.
I love the yellow skirt, too @Gin. Pity it’s transparent. Not up for a breezy Marilyn Monroe moment? (I don’t have the legs for it.)
Going to the library today to try and sort out why my last assignment won’t submit. It’s a 50 minute drive and it’s peeing down. (At least it’s not hot!) Going to drop in on my Auntie who will be crowing because the right wing climate rapists won by a landslide due to our stupid preferential electoral system. Would really love to move to New Zealand right now. (Oh so many reasons why!!!)

Laska2Meryls · 21/05/2019 06:31

Grazia code still working this morning but assuming that it won't after new collection launched I have possibly madly ordered the Carilo Sundress. It's a wildcard try out..

Laska2Meryls · 21/05/2019 06:33

Work today and it's going to be one of those weeks I think... Hmm

ilovecherries · 21/05/2019 07:57

Just popping in to say hello on the new thread. Haven’t had time to read messages but scanned the photos and you all look lovely. And gin you are gorgeous and a lovely shape.

dontcallmelen · 21/05/2019 08:41

Morning, lovely sunny day here in London, the tent dress is due for delivery today, but I’m popping over to see dd & dgd so won’t get a chance to try it on till this evening.
Gin the dress/skirt pics are lovely as well😍

dontcallmelen · 21/05/2019 08:45

Just hope you sort out your assignment & crikey the chap who got elected sounds horrific.
Laska hope work isn’t going to be too horrible & Ella dress is perfect.
Soy hope work isn’t to manic.
Hello everyone else.

Talisin · 21/05/2019 08:51

New stuff is up. Joline lace dress is lovely although it wouldn’t suit me due to the tie waist. Beach sweat also really nice colours.

dontcallmelen · 21/05/2019 08:59

Ooh scuttles off just to look😂

Laska2Meryls · 21/05/2019 09:13

Eyes! They've put eyes on the pink bat dress. I really hate eye things..
The other pink dress would make me look like a barrage balloon..
And the one thing I'm Not going to do , living on a holiday island is wear a T with Local and Tourist . ( Nice blue though)
So sadly it's all a no from me Sad.. .except maybe the midnight cropped joggers ,

Laska2Meryls · 21/05/2019 09:14

Pink bay dress that is , if they had put bats on it, it would have been better...

Laska2Meryls · 21/05/2019 09:32

Also unpolitic I reckon to wear something with Local on in these days of Brexit madness .. ( or am I just being over PC here? ). I wouldhave worn a blue T with EU yellow stars though !! ( Perhaps I am still just being a miserable remoaner though..)

justilou1 · 21/05/2019 10:25

@Melen you are so right!!! We are five minutes past America here!!! I am so sad!!!
@Laska... with you on the eyeball thing!!! Also tend to avoid grown women wearing Disney/Pixar characters on their clothes like the plague.

dontcallmelen · 21/05/2019 10:27

Yy the eyes & the parrots, shudders.
Not much better here just I reckon the whole world has gone mad😱
