I live under sufferance in a sub-tropical climate, @whiskey. I admire your dedication, but the heat and humidity inspires me to retox not detox, I’m afraid! 🤫

GinandGingerBeer · 31/05/2019 08:45

Oh and there's a picture of a rather lovely sunset Grin

justilou1 · 31/05/2019 08:47

@Gin - sandals are fab! ESP love the blush ones!

Laska2Meryls · 31/05/2019 08:48

miffy I havent tried the top ,its really lovely but with my norks i think it would look a bit maternity on ,me sadly . Its fab colour though, ( i love yellow , and it goes so well with my hair!!) id definitely try it .. (do you get free returns from IR?

GinandGingerBeer · 31/05/2019 08:53

The fake market here in Turkey is insane. I feel a bit guilty though that I'm buying it. I'd never buy it at home but it's such big business here.

dontcallmelen · 31/05/2019 08:54

Gin so glad you are having a great time & Ds is enjoying it as well.
You look lovely & fab fab sandals, one of the best things about Turkey is the shopping😂 I still have a ‘Chanel’ bag from years ago that comes out every summer oh & the sunset pic is beautiful.

justilou1 · 31/05/2019 08:57

@Gin - I’m a bit dubious about really luxury brands. I honestly wonder how they can justify charging hundreds of thousands for a handbag, etc. That’s nuts. Might as well create an income for people who need it.

dontcallmelen · 31/05/2019 08:58

Yy Gin ikwym wouldn’t dream of it here, but it’s sooo hard not too when you are in the markets, my bag was from Fetiye(sp) market all I remember about it was the stall holders shouting, cheaper than Del Boy & Asda.

GinandGingerBeer · 31/05/2019 09:07

It's all 'cheaper than primark' now @len Grin

neveradullmoment99 · 31/05/2019 09:09

Gin, i absolutely love that dress. Will look out for it in the sale. It looks beautiful on you :)

GinandGingerBeer · 31/05/2019 09:09

DH hates it though. He ended up with 2 T shirts he didn't want Grin
He hates haggling. DS2 is good at it though.

neveradullmoment99 · 31/05/2019 09:09

I had an email about the hush 10% It lasts just until the weekend.

GinandGingerBeer · 31/05/2019 09:13

The dress has an inbuilt boobage holder. Ok for when I'm on holiday, they can hang a bit lower, it doesn't give any support but stops them bouncing about.
I hate bloody torturous strapless bras, never found a good one. The popular one..... P? God brain has gone...... prevented me from breathing and felt like my ribs were cracking.

Ninkaninus · 31/05/2019 09:23

Wonder bra strapless is good (just in case you want to try another one...)

neveradullmoment99 · 31/05/2019 09:34

The Jamie bra is good from next

neveradullmoment99 · 31/05/2019 09:36

I have the nude one. I find it quite comfortable. The review on the nude one are good. I cant understand why the reviews are poor on the white one. I am a E cup and find it good support wise and not uncomfortable. Probably the best strapless one i have found. M&S do a similar one.

GinandGingerBeer · 31/05/2019 09:39

Oh it was wonderbra that I didn't get on with, but maybe I wasn't fitted correctly but it was agony,
Thanks for the Jamie recommendation Never, I'm an E cup too. Or a DD depending on band and brand. Fantasie bras fit me really well, but their strapless didn't.

justilou1 · 31/05/2019 09:54

@Gin - I loathe them too! Have also binned all underwires as they have all formed a hit gang and keep trying to stab me in the heart. Fortunately I am not large of nork, just kinda spaniel’s ears, so I roll them up and shove them into whatever’s not trying to murder me.

SoyYo · 31/05/2019 09:59

Morning! Great tip on next strapless bra @never
@laska adore your bright pink hair and think it’ll cheer DF no end seeing his girl looking fabulous and colourful today. Wish you a lovely day together.

@justi new babies! Glad it’s cooling down for you in Brisbane (relatively speaking) and thank you for the kind comment. I agree the black dress is more “me” too but I’m always dressing in sombre colours (comfort zone) so sticking with the silk gorgeousness. Hope the summery colours will look as soon as I have sun kissed skin (I tan easily).

@Gin My you look sooo pretty in that beautiful dress! Honestly even if you were bald your face is so lovely you could get away with no hair. The sandals are so lovely too! And glad to hear about enjoying time with DS1. These years before they fly the nest for good are precious. I have Boomerang boys though so they’re now happily ensconced back home saving up for when we sell our family home, it’s made me realise it’ll probably be the last time we all cohabit under the same roof so whenever their slovenly habits make me a bit Angry I take a deep breath before approaching them as the young adults they are and kindly ask them to be a bit more caring and tidy...I’m very conscious the memories we are making today will be memories of their last years under the parental roof.
Glad you liked the co washing. I do it in between sls free shampoo washes and it really helps with the frizzZzz Wink. Yes needs to be silicone free because silicone just coats the hair and the only way to get rid of it is sulfate shampoos which is too harsh for curls and waves that need proper hydration.
Garnier (which you may be able to find cheap locally) do some silicone free conditioners for co washing I attach a pic of those that are silicone free (not all are) so may be worth picking up a bottle while you’re there.
The sunset is stunning! What a lovely place! (Have never been to Turkey and on my wish list)

Ninkaninus · 31/05/2019 09:59

Yeah they’re not exactly comfortable...I guess it depends on breast size.

I do need one for summer - the wondebra I had is about three sizes too small now.

Huffthepuff · 31/05/2019 10:08

@GinandGingerBeer love that dress! Looks gorgeous on you. Will definitely look for that in the sale if it comes back

Huffthepuff · 31/05/2019 10:26

Here is the Portobello top. So delicate I think I'll be scared to wear/wash it. I love it tho. I have a fancy London lunch coming up in two weeks (no toddlers!) so I think I'll wear it then. But what with? Jeans will be too casual. Hoping the Boden Black espadrilles I ordered 3 weeks ago will be here by then although there's a good chance they won't fit 😟

dontcallmelen · 31/05/2019 10:35

Soy any recommendations for Phil Mitchell aka dgd curls, would it be ok to use something like you pp above?

dontcallmelen · 31/05/2019 10:37

Huff very pretty top, would go with lots of things I reckon 7/8 smarter trousers & wedges or pretty sandals if it’s a bit posh lunch.

Huffthepuff · 31/05/2019 10:53

Thanks Len yes I think wedges too. I feel like I need to take advantage of being out without pushchair!
