Oh, no clothes purchases, but may I show you a lampwork glass pendant I have bought for myself?

Fuzzy that is beautiful 😍 where is it from?

SoyYo · 28/05/2019 20:04

@Fuzzy great to read you and a gorgeous glass pendant! The colours of the sea you love and restores you to sanity.

@cherries oh dear! Just write off today. You need to rest my friend, all the crazy toing and froing has caught up with you. On the chilli Monaco’s they’re supposed to be a little cropped but not mid calf! Shock this is where Hush are all over the place with sizing...on me they hit my ankle bone perfectly so that’s where the midget advantage comes in handy occassionally. Maybe you and @miffy can strike a deal and they can go to a new home?

@miffy thank you and so sorry to read about the mess Hush made of your order Angry You did absolutely the right thing, the bloody cheek sometimes puts you right off ordering from them ever again specially when you’re having to pay for returns. Hope they do the decent thing. Yes the hundred star things are good value and thanks to @cherries for the original recommendation which you know by now I fully endorse Wink

@Huff sorry about the Top Shop sale fail I guess now you know and won’t be pondering on what you missed out...let’s keep our fingers crossed for a friend status eh.

@laska peace will soon be restored! Look Fw to seeing your purchases inc the name changing vest Grin I got an alert from Jigsaw too that my dress has been despatched...trying not to get too excited knowing me and dresses...I probably only ever keep 10/20% of all the dresses I ever order as my body shape is tricky...in fact I can’t remember keeping any dresses from anywhere since last year...

FuzzyPuffling · 28/05/2019 20:11

Thank you. I bought it from Coastal Home (where it was 30% off) but it is made by Julie Fountain, who sells them on her website. It's my treat for all that work I've been doing...and it doesn't care what size I am!

Ellapaella · 28/05/2019 20:15

@ilovecherries I tried the Monaco trousers on in JL last year and they were ridiculously short. Like half way up my leg short.
@FuzzyPuffling that is a beautiful pendant.

Laska I ordered from the regular site. I thought I was lucky nabbing my beloved Monaco in the navy blue. Must have been a non-existent pair after all :(

Ella I may well do that. I will give them 24 hours to see what they can do first. In the meantime if any of you spot the navy Monacos in a 12 online please tag me! At least I have the black pair; my old ones are getting tatty from all the wear.

SoyYo · 28/05/2019 20:19

So it’s official then don’t bother with Monaco’s unless you’re 5’4” or under...
@soups thank you for the lovely comment. Hope your foot has healed.

ilovecherries · 28/05/2019 20:25

If I feel better tomorrow I will try them on again and post a photo and you can tell me if they are an ebay job.

miffy2 · 28/05/2019 20:26

I must be weird as I am 5' 7" and I love the length of the Monaco on me. Yes they hit me mid-calf but that is what I like about them (shrugs) - I generally wear trousers ankle-length and these are just a bit more casual. They are my summer go-to and I wear them with trainers and Ts. I have a light blue pair too which I find tougher to match colour-wise than the black but was looking forward to the navy.

Cherries if you want to offload them let me know what size and colour you have and I will let you know if I am interested :)

Fuzzy that necklace is just beautiful!

FuzzyPuffling · 28/05/2019 20:50

I'm 5'8" and only like really long trousers, proper cropped ones or shorts! I don't understand this 7/8 length (Boden I'm looking at you), probably because I have spent a lifetime wearing ankle-grazers that should be longer.

SoyYo · 28/05/2019 20:53

Oh 🧐 just read above ...ignore me, I’m usually relieved And positively delighted when I don’t have to take up trousers Grin 🤣

SoyYo · 28/05/2019 20:57

@Fuzzy I bought R length 7/8 Hampshire trousers and they are proper length on me Grin so I’m truly happy with the shorter lengths in fashion atm but agree if you’re tall it’s exactly the same annoyance just the other way around...

SoyYo · 28/05/2019 21:01

You see these trousers! I totally love the style and print and would have bought by now except all reviewers say they’re super long...if they come up on the sale I would buy and pay to have them taken up.
On a tall girl they’d be fabulous for casual summer wear/even dressed up for evenings out:

FuzzyPuffling · 28/05/2019 21:07

I just looked at Hush trousers and virtually ALL of them are that weird "not-one-thing-nor-the-other" length. I fear I'd look like Orphan Annie in them and will be sticking to my 34" length trousers for evermore

SoyYo · 28/05/2019 21:13

Just to illustrate what I mean see this pic and spot the midget in the middle (who prefers flats)...
I’ve blanked faces out but DH and a friend with me yesterday during our walk/after afternoon tea Grin

Good night!

GinandGingerBeer · 29/05/2019 09:04

Hello! Well I've had no data or WiFi here in turkey and we've finally got it fixed so I can have a catch up!
Hope everyone is well, it is boiling here and my hair is in full Monica mode.
Didn't help that I didn't bring any hair implements not even a comb Grin
I'm sat here in my one hundred stars kimono, looking at the pool and all is good Smile
First thing I did when I got WiFi was spend ££ on jo malone perfume as they've got a freebie on. I won my new favourite perfume which I bought at Manchester airport en route so I'm a happy bunny.

SoyYo · 29/05/2019 10:23

Hello @Gin in Turkey!
Go you with the kimono! Bet you look great and lovely bonus on the perfume win.
On the hair go CG (wash with conditioner preferably silicone free) instead of shampooing too often to keep frizz at bay. You can buy Pantene no 5 mousse which is curly girl friendly too locally and it’ll give you waves/curls while keeping frizz at bay, just let it dry naturally and if it sets a bit “crunchy” just use your fingers to scrunch it out when your hair is dry. Go natural! You are on hols so time to relax and try a low faff style. (I do this all the time but that’s because trying to tame my curls would be an impossible time consuming daily task and life is short and sweet).

Send us a photo Hushing it in Turkey before you leave Smile, even if this year we haven’t all bought a Greek widow dress...
Have a Fabulous time!

GinandGingerBeer · 29/05/2019 10:35

Thanks @SoyYo
I have the same kimono as you but in the colour way of the scarf.
I bought the most lovely dress form mint velvet before I came away, it's just your cuppa cha. Will post a pic when I wear it.
Next month (which is Friday payday for me) I want to order a full length gown from 100 stars to wear as a dressing gown. They're so beautiful!
I'll try just using my condition tonight. See how I go. I bought some curl cream from lush but it looks a bit greasy in it the following morning.
Sorry if there are typos I can't see what I'm doing Grin

dontcallmelen · 29/05/2019 10:40

Hey Gin was wondering if you had jetted off, kimono just the ticket for lounging around the pool & smelling lovely in jo malone, have a great time.

Huffthepuff · 29/05/2019 10:47

'Thank you for getting in touch.

It’s great to hear that you’re a fan of our brand! Our hush friends are decided through a third party who look at different aspects of a customer’s account such as orders and frequency. There’s not so much as a ‘set amount’ of money which customers have to spend to qualify for this, the third party decide through other mediums.'

Huffthepuff · 29/05/2019 10:47

Well screw you then Hush 😂

FuzzyPuffling · 29/05/2019 10:59

"Mediums"??? Surely they mean "media"?

FuzzyPuffling · 29/05/2019 11:00

Unless they are asking the afterlife for advice?

Laska2Meryls · 29/05/2019 11:01

Huff they knocked me off Friends last year but put me back on when I complained.. so they can .. I really think that the brand has gone really downhill in customer service since they have expanded ( and in quality sadly also) . but having said that, some things really are just as good it's a shame that it's so hot and miss now
. It's actually chilly here today ( luckily it's the day our lot are going home and so they have had good weather) .I am in office wearing navy ivy, m&s leopard leggings ( that I dyed blue) ,hultquist star necklace and currently also a scarf and cardi ! Black leopard/star Ash trainers
.

Laska2Meryls · 29/05/2019 11:03

🤣🤣🤣🤣 fuzzy ..
