Soups just reiterating what everyone else has said, & if you are not feeling after a second wear then definitely eBay it.
Granny love the pink dress what size did you get?
Huff the bloody line is sooo annoying love the culottes,I’m going to retry when I get the cami bra, if not will send back & reorder an eight.
Laska I like the kimono with the moritze bottoms very nice.
Not blue Santana is lovely, the rest I agree is a bit meh especially with the infamous hush washing instructions.

neveradullmoment99 · 22/05/2019 20:00

I really like this but its too big. You dont see it cause of the print. Lupin dress.

I think I will wait though and reorder in the sale. Its such a lovely print but I stop work for the holidays for 7wks in about 5 weeks time so just feels a bit silly ordering it atm with all the lovely summer stuff out.

grannycake · 22/05/2019 20:12

dontcallmelen the pink dress is a 6. No way am I 6 in other high street stores. Apart from Fat Face where everything is too . I really like that on you Never

neveradullmoment99 · 22/05/2019 20:13

So will return it. Later on in the sale I will order it in a 10.
So ordered the spotty jumpsuit and the vera frill skirt which I love.

neveradullmoment99 · 22/05/2019 20:15

Thanks @granny. I really like it. I just think it will be reduced as the summer stuff will sell more atm and if it goes it goes but I think the style of it is good on me and the little daisies are very pretty.

Huffthepuff · 22/05/2019 20:24

That's lovely Never! Would definitely be tempted in the sale too

NotAnActualSheep · 22/05/2019 21:03

yy - that's really pretty never but I see what you mean about it being a bit big - esp on the shoulders. I think it would be lovely at the end of the summer/ early autumn too, when its a bit chillier - as you say, the dark background to the pattern would suit dark tights etc - though its got the lovely flowers on. Are you keeping the black santana? Glad you like the frill skirt and jumpsuit too (or have those not arrived yet?!)

granny and huff - the dresses are both great. I love the pink! And also the culottes really suit you huff (you've reminded me I have the side stripe culottes from the summer sale which I may dig out for my conference tomorrow). Also, in my new-found sandal love, I think I need to ask about granny's silver birkies (?) - or are they the hush ones? They are fab whichever.

soups I know I have offered my opinion on your dress - but I have to say your DDs were being a bit cheeky!! ShockWink

Also love laska's kimono - it works really well with the moritz. Could you wear that (or the kimono with Janelle?) to do your polling duties tomorrow? That sounds like a job that needs a bit of wafting. Pity the joggers and yellow sundress had to go back though.

Thanks for the comments on the embroidered dress and santana too, all (love the latter - so wafty...). It is a pity, as I do like the dress - and I'm glad I sent it back before posting here, or I may have been enabled tempted to keep! But it is just impractical IMO...I'd either keep it for "best" and it would never be worn, or wear it casually for a bit of sparkle and it would languish in the laundry basket for ages. I'm not too religious about washing, and do gently machine wash some hand wash things, and they have been fine - but I really think the sequins on the dress would suffer from that approach... If it was easier, I'd definitely wear it as a "smart" day dress - as it's basically a t-shirt dress, as well as it being suitable for going out.

I'm wondering, as I liked the shape/ length and the split, I may try the janelle - which is a similar shape and length. But I'll try the black/ grey jamie thats coming tomorrow from BA and see...(and get a sparkly mirrored hippie waistcoat to wear over it!)

neveradullmoment99 · 22/05/2019 21:40

I ordered the vera skirt and the jumpsuit tonight so should come on Friday. I don't think the jumpsuit will suit me but I feel I need to scratch the itch.

Ellapaella · 22/05/2019 21:44

I really love the jumpsuit never - looking forward to seeing what you think of it. I like that dress on you too but agree you could probably size down.

Its beautiful. Gorgeous dress. Love both the white and the lemon @ella.

neveradullmoment99 · 22/05/2019 22:27

I saw them too. They look really nice.

SoyYo · 22/05/2019 22:54

Catching up at bedtime.

@Huff yes to the culottes! I have the Bryce stripe culottes (last S/S) and have worn a lot to work and felt cool but smart in them. My only slight regret is I kept the 12 and should have sized down to a 10 as they are roomy. But super comfy and look good with a shortish navy blue jacket (I have one from last Hush season, there’s similar now) and plain white T as you’re wearing. Keep! You look great 👍

@granny the pink dress is cute on you

@laska The blue kimono is really good, specially as you’ve styled it so well. You need it and Hope tomorrow goes well and you don’t get any idiots at the polling station.

@never agree dress is too big for you, such a nice print so thank you for showing us and fingers crossed you can pick again a smaller one at sale time.

@not good job you returned before reading us! Wink honestly the black dress did look great but you’re totally right re practicality (and you never know it may be vastly reduced at sale time then deffo reorder). I think you’ll love the Jamie dress (I luvvs mine)

And @gin thank you for the slim comment, I’m far from it (still way above where I was at last summer) it’s a real battle of the gut! Why oh why do we get fat tums with the menopause Sad I need fat in my bottom...if only it could be persuaded to shift backwards we’d save such a lot of grief!

Well I think I’m kind of shopped out now and besides lusting after the lace dress there’s nothing else calling me from the Hush collection atm. I’m sure one of you will soon be modelling something fabulous and I’ll be persuaded otherwise Hmm

Good night.

justilou1 · 22/05/2019 23:46

The trainers as promised. (One on each foot.) I have very thin feet and these fit remarkably well. I don’t normally find trainers very comfortable, and these are perfect for schlepping about at college now that sandal season is finally gone. I’m going to swap the white laces with black ones, I think. For ten dollars a pair, I think I can invest in some laces to make them less white. I’m not sure about the silver pair, but one or both of my daughters will probably nick them if I let them.

NotAnActualSheep Yes the sandals I am wearing are the Hush faux birkies. They are really comfy and I wear them a lot

twosoups1972 · 23/05/2019 08:01

@never agree the dress is lovely. Really nice print but agree not very summery.

@Soy wonder if I have the same culottes as you? Can't remember what they're called but they're navy with a fine white pinstripe. Love them and wear them loads.

@just I like the silver! The white is probably easier to wear though.

twosoups1972 · 23/05/2019 08:11

Has anyone tried the Sandrine top? I've decided I need a few nice white summer tops.

Laska2Meryls · 23/05/2019 08:28

im sitting in the poll station,.. ! luckily im not in some old church hall (deliberate move that) and they have wifi , .
you've been chatty , ill go back and catch up when i can but
ella I hadnt spotted thse chambray chinos either .. nice .. (but i must not spend the whole day ordering clothes!!) .
My brand alley should be here today , just black relaxed trousers and khaki vest top..

twosoups1972 · 23/05/2019 08:45

Hope you have a good day laska Smile

justilou1 · 23/05/2019 08:58

@Soups - thanks! I like them too, but my husband has been calling them UFOs and teasing me about wearing spats in space.

neveradullmoment99 · 23/05/2019 09:05

Just I prefer the silver ones but the white ones look much better with the black laces I agree :)
Hope you have a nice day in the polling station @Laska browsing the internet

Ninkaninus · 23/05/2019 09:38

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! 🌷I had a lovely day. We’ll go out to eat sometime to celebrate as well.

I love all the dresses, outfits and trainers!

As it happens I do have a wedding dress, but it’s a slightly unusual choice I guess. It’s going to be a very small affair - registry wedding, just the two of us and my two daughters as witnesses.

So far it’s been about 50:50 with some people saying I ought to wear cream or at least a light dress, and others saying it’s fine. I’m not bothered about tradition since it’s my second wedding and not really an actual wedding. But I may yet change my mind, as I am wont to do!
