Has anyone had lip fillers? Can you show me your before/after, did it hurt, are you glad you did it? I really want them but I'm anxious about the pain xx

Lesley Ash had permanent lip filler.

I've been having lip fillers for 10 years now. Way before Kylie kardashian or whatever her name is and Instagram. If someone asks me if I have lip fillers which they rarely do tbh then I would tell them yes but I have never advertised that I have them done. Just like I wouldn't advertise if I'd shaved my legs that morning.

These are mine after around 3.5mls. Yes, I had very thin lips before. I luvs them.

LIP FILLERS!!!!

I think lip fillers look terrible and I hate this trend.

Vegisgrowingwell · 17/05/2019 17:38

I think it's the strange shape of the top lip sticking out I find weird. I was staring at a woman the other day without realising then heard her say that she had no money left that month because of her lips. I hadn't put my finger on why she looked a bit out of sorts.

It definitely creates a weird top lip but each to their own!!!

Mnthrowaway20199 · 17/05/2019 18:10

I absolutely think people can look better with fillers, sorry. Lip fillers can seem to balance out your face more overall, make your face look more feminine etc.

I am basing this off of my own face though - my natural top lip was very small and asymmetrical and I hated my smile, filler has definitely been an improvement.

Golde · 17/05/2019 18:25

Is there a way to do it and not get a flesh coloured moustache type lump?

I'd like it f it was just the lips I think

CodenameVillanelle · 17/05/2019 18:27

I doubt it golde
I think that's where the weird over lining lip pencil trend comes from. You have to disguise the funny line at the top

Mummyoftwo91 · 17/05/2019 18:33

I wanted to avoid the weird top lip thing so my nurse said if you avoid objecting into the lip border then I won't get that look so we avoided that area

Mummyoftwo91 · 17/05/2019 18:34

vermilion border I believe it's called

Mummyoftwo91 · 17/05/2019 18:35

*injecting not objecting

I do think it is worth telling women, who are spending a lot of money and inflicting pain on themselves, that their natural lips really really do look more attractive. They just do, in every case. You can save your money and spare yourself the pain, every 'before' photo on this thread looked great - it really did not need changed.

lipslovelylips · 17/05/2019 18:44

Mummyoftwo, my clinic does the opposite and injects in two separate areas, vermillion border for definition and into the main lip area for volume.

lipslovelylips · 17/05/2019 18:47

I have seen some terrible terrible lips but if you go to a reputable clinic and get them done well by a specialist who knows that they are doing then you can avoid the duck lips.

ferrerorocherlover · 17/05/2019 19:06

Hated my thin lips 👄 love the fuller look and feel better looking with it

LIP FILLERS!!!!
LIP FILLERS!!!!
Thallo · 17/05/2019 19:12

Ferrero, I prefer your natural lips and wouldn't have described them as being thin at all. Now your upper lip looks as though it's straining with the filler whereas before you had a lovely sharp cupid's bow.

ferrerorocherlover · 17/05/2019 19:13

thallo that's sweet of you to say re my natural lips ! As I always felt I had ugly and Un-feminine lips to read they were ok is nice to know !

Thallo · 17/05/2019 19:21

Honestly, your own lips are lovely and I'd imagine they're the size and shape that a lot of people with lip fillers are aiming for.

ferrerorocherlover · 17/05/2019 19:27

thallo thank you x

Scion457 · 17/05/2019 19:36

Ferrero- your natural lips are far far more beautiful without the filler.

Delatron · 17/05/2019 19:41

They were such a lovely shape ferrero.

Top lips are supposed to be slightly thinner than bottom lips. That’s what looks natural.

loveskaka · 17/05/2019 22:03

@madeofstarlight was it the oasis Anthestics in Glasgow by Marie? I have a consultation with her next week. How did you find this clinic? X

pineapplepatty · 17/05/2019 23:05

Does the skin get stretched and then saggy? If someone like that Lauren from TOWIE stopped overfilling her lips, would the skin be all baggy?

user764329056 · 17/05/2019 23:23

Can I ask please if lip fillers would help with vertical lines above top lip? Feel really self conscious about them
