LIP FILLERS!!!!

Has anyone had lip fillers? Can you show me your before/after, did it hurt, are you glad you did it? I really want them but I'm anxious about the pain xx

Without exception, every natural pair of lips looks better than the filled ones.

I have no top lip (thanks dad for that dna). No amount of filler could fix that for me. All you ladies are so lucky.

I hear a lot of women, some really young, saying they opted for fillers due to “no top lip”. Which makes me think that having a smaller or thinner top lip is... totally normal.

None of the “before” pics looked remotely unattractive to me. Huge swollen lips, fashionable as they are right now, never look natural.

Before is much better than after in all cases, sorry. As long as you're happy it doesn't matter though.

What numbing cream do they use on you girls? Wondering if something stronger may hurt less. Mine gave me Ferndale which contains a ton of lidocaine, for whenever I build up the courage to go. Wondering if there is something stronger? I'm awful with pain but tollerate Botox injections fine.
I did have filler in jaw/ chin but with cannula and felt nothing at all.

I prefer the before pictures... sorry!

The afters are not to my taste and look “done@ very love island.

However whatever floats you’re boat. I find the generic Kardhashian look tiresome.

It seems to be a thing now where people don't want to have lips that look naturally beestung but instead they're actively seeking Kylie Jenner type lips that look obviously 'done'. Similar to the way that really fake looking breast implants used to be in fashion, like the ones Victoria Beckham used to have.

I'm not a fan.

My after picture is heavy swelling, will look a lot more natural when it's settled

Not sure what numbing cream sorry! Mine was done with Cannula also so I didn't feel any pain but I guess everyone has a different pain tolerance! Thanks for everyone who thinks my lips looked fine before I think they did too, I just wanted my lips to look like mine just a little better and more evened out, they were plumper on one side, I'm not overly keen on the fake over done lip look but each to their own!

Agree the before lips look so much better.

If you have them big, do the lips stretch over time and go saggy when you get bored of the blown up look?

Just saw your update picture where you top lip disappears when you smile.
You can also have Botox to relax the muscle, to prevent the lip curling under when you smile.

I hate the way that fillers make the top lip curl up. It's not natural to have the top and bottom lip of similar thicknesses and I don't think (ironic) that people age well having had this work done.

It often leads to people being dissatisfied with other aspects of their appearance that they then try to change. Even or especially more so when they looked pretty fine as they were!

This thread makes me so sad for the women of today, I'll never get Botox or lip fillers. The fact it's so normal today is beyond depressing.

Every single before picture looks better than the after picture. Who are we doing this for? Why aren’t our perfectly beautiful, natural lips enough. I’ve got no top lip. It’s not ugly!! Where’s this notion come from that plumped up=attractive. Sheer madness in my mind.

I really don't see the point in commenting on this thread if you dislike filler so much, op started this thread to ask for people's experiences not to have people say they think fillers are horrible lol it's the same as getting a tattoo, or dying your hair ect everyone is free to do what they like with their own body, and if someone has a personal insecurity like op and this has made her more confident I don't see anything wrong with that
