Do you ‘whole body moisturise’ after washing?

I don’t but should I be? I only ever moisturise my face.

Yes, everyday after a shower.

Sybelline · 06/05/2019 12:22

I try to but on days I can't be bothered (often) I use Sanctuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle. Rub into wet skin and then towel dry as usual.

Drogosnextwife · 06/05/2019 12:22

I do my face every morning and night but not my body, only if I feel it needs it which isn't very often.

MsMightyTitanAndHerTroubadours · 06/05/2019 12:25

coming into the better weather I do more moisturising....no one wants lizardskin legs, but same as shaving legs, it all goes to hell in the winter!

I really like the aveeno oil spray, that feels lovely for a good couple of days and not oil slicky or tacky even when it goes on.

Minniemousejammies · 06/05/2019 12:26

Oh the sanctuary stuff looks ideal!!

I’m sure I used to have a Johnson’s baby gel type thing to use on wet skin actually.

I am really going to try hard to do this every day with summer coming up.

Another one who is starting now for Summer!! I actually use a hard brush to exfoliate whilst in the shower then find I need much less moisturiser. I do have very dry skin!

Sybelline · 06/05/2019 12:29

Yes, once a week I use those Korean Italy towels to do a hardcore exfoliation and that makes a dramatic difference to skin smoothness.

Fairylea · 06/05/2019 12:30

Nope, just my face. I can’t stand the feel of lotions etc all over my body.

Baloonphobia · 06/05/2019 12:31

Mine feels really tight if I don't. I just got into a routine of doing it.

TheSmallAssassin · 06/05/2019 12:31

I moisturise my face after a wash and my legs on the rare occasion I shave them. I put hand cream on just before I go to bed, but the rest of my skin looks after itself 😊

TwinsTrollsandHunz · 06/05/2019 12:31

Not every day, I don’t need to. Maybe once or twice a week after an evening bath. I use the LRP Lipikar Baume AP+ stuff, it’s really rich and thick but unfragranced and not sticky.

TwinsTrollsandHunz · 06/05/2019 12:32

I do my face twice a day though

Minniemousejammies · 06/05/2019 12:32

These towels sound interesting!

LunaTheCat · 06/05/2019 12:47

Sorry to jump onto your thread but where do you buy Korean Italy Towels from?

Sybelline · 06/05/2019 12:52

I got mine on Amazon

When you first use them you can see peels of skin just rolling off. So satisfying.

Sarahlou63 · 06/05/2019 12:55

I rub baby oil on my wet skin, wait a couple of minutes then towel dry. Cheap and effective.

Minniemousejammies · 06/05/2019 12:57

Oh how good do those look!

OP posts:
SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 06/05/2019 12:57

Yes, every single day otherwise I get lizard skin. I also use an AHA exfoliating body lotion once or twice a week and body brush a couple of times.

Theoldwoman · 06/05/2019 13:00

Yes, only at night though (I shower morning and night) currently love the Nivea one that lasts 48 hours!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 06/05/2019 13:01

The K.I.T. need a 30 minute hot soak first , no bubbles . ('Tis the boring bit , I don't like baths , let alone hot baths as a Menopausal body, and nothing but plain water ? Eek)

But the results are amazing, no gritty bath either .

Minniemousejammies · 06/05/2019 13:02

The reviews say they’re very small?

@theoldwoman is that the blue bottle?

OP posts:
Sybelline · 06/05/2019 13:05

I've never done the 30 min soak in the bath thing before using them and I still get impressive results (although maybe you get super duper results if you do have the 30 min bath). They are quite small but stretch out a little when you use them and they're still big to get my hand into. Better than any other exfoliating glove or jar of exfoliator.

HundredMilesAnHour · 06/05/2019 13:08

I moisturise my whole body (especially arms, legs, hands and feet) every day but I usually do it before bed rather than after a shower. I go to the gym pretty much every day and have learnt that a well moisturised body and sweat can be a very slippery combination so best avoided......hence the bedtime moisturising instead!

Livpool · 06/05/2019 13:25

I do and have done for years. My Dh jokes that own day I will slide out of bed
