I think there is a limit on baby’s weight and natural birth?
Quote from last thread - the limit was stopped in UK, as there were too many babies who measured big on scans who actually weren't. Plus some women can safely and easily give birth to much larger babies than others can. Now they just keep a closer eye on mother in labour and prefer you to be in a consultant led hospital labour ward - incase the baby really is too big and an emcs becomes neccessary.
My DC1 measured very big on scans but was actually (2 full weeks over due) a 7lb, very skinny, but exceptionally long baby (his length being why they thought he was going to be so much heavier). DC2 on the other hand was predicted to be big and really was - 10lb in a planned c section at exactly 39weeks (c section for other medical reasons). She would have been enormous if she'd gone over due like DC1.
