I live in Ireland too and have been to ordinary weddings and celebrity weddings ( not many I hasten to add- more than one and less than three ) and tbh that dress was not too bridal. It was lovely.
Brides in Ireland, at weddings I've been at don't wear that kind of dress.
They possibly do in UK because there would be more second marriages.

I love the style of the pink dress - no doubt there'll be people on to say it's too bridal... I love the colour of the yellow but it's not as elegant I think. The pink shape in yellow would be a perfect dress. I do like the yellow one too, it's just the shape of the pink is so clean.

Had another look and I think the yellow is a bit matronly. As predicted, the pink has been called too bridey already! I don't think it is at all, but I thought the other was fine too.

In the name of goodness! The original was gorgeous and not bridal imho. The pink is beautiful...and brides don't get to "own" all the colours! You have very elegant taste.

I knew someone would say the pink was bridal which is now making me think maybe I shouldn’t have listened to the comments re the original!! I think the unflattering ones prob made more sense so they were the final straw. Going to try the blue reiss one on when I get into town.

I think the pale pale pink and the shape make it look very “second wedding” and not at all Kate Middleton. It needs to be in a more definite colour way or patterned I think. The soft soft pastel hues combined with shape just scream wedding party.

I’m from working class Glaswegian stock so I do love a very well dressed wedding a guest.
