i was calorie counting recently. lasted 4 days.

Sotd was Private Collection for mowing the lawn. I know ......really not the right perfume. Should have been Rooks Undergrowth. Cooked the dinner for the two lethargic teens. And am now doing the dog walk.
Dd2 has told me off today as there was no mashed potato as she was essentially too lazy to peel them. And Ds1 was complaining there’s no food at lunchtime. So I showed him how to do a stirfry. I’m pretty certain he’s no intention of learning how to do it himself.

I've just ordered a bottle of Avon pur Blanca as I had a £5 Ebay voucher.
£1 for 50mls and free delivery. Not bad!

I have a bit left in a bottle from a swop. I used to really love it and the bottle is so pretty. It’s actually smells chock full of soapy aldehydes now and it’s not my thing at all.

Seriously off topic but have been playing with a bird call app. Treecreeper, blackbird, wren, robin, long-tailed tit, greenfinch, goldfinch, blackbird, dunnock apparently all singing away.

Which app is that?
Does it recognise the song in your garden?
Or are you picking out the song yourself?
I love things like that.

Ooooh what's it called?

Something called Birdup I found in Play Store as a free trial. You just point your phone towards the bird song and it identifies it. Sort of like Soundhound or Shazam for bird lovers.

Maybe there will be an olfactory one, one day. You know, the man sitting next to you on the bus is wearing something great, but there isn't an easy way to ask, without risking giving totally the wrong impression...so you discretely take a reading with your app, and lo, it identifies it!

I'd download that for sure MrsM! I'm always smelling nice things on other people but don't want to look creepy by asking what it is!

The old thread is very funny! It makes me want to try things that smell bad, just so I can post scathing reviews

But in real life I wore Pearl by Sage Machado again, mostly because I didn't have time to have a shower so I still had some on from yesterday (and didn't want to layer new tuberose stuff over the top in case it messed with the purity of the tuberose sniffing!). We went to the zoo so of course nobody cared how I smelled. The kids were too busy discussing monkey bums.

Why is there no perfume dating app that will match me up with sane, interesting and eligible bachelors who wear LADDM or ACCD and who don't mind fat curvaceous, stressed out hard working, poetry lovers weirdos?

SOTD Clinique Wrappings. Did anyone watch that perfume video Sali Hughes did on IGTV the other day? It was under-rated perfumes, including Wrappings.
