Apologies for the cheesy thread title.

Calm that soap does sound as if it could be very similar - will have to hunt it out! I love bar soaps.

Mother, tbh Scherzo probably would have grown on me if I'd given it more of a chance but the rest of them were very disappointing; Violet Ida in particular.

Have scrubbed the Tauers (I tried Orange Star as well - like an orange version of Reverie au Jardin which is fine by me but I need to try it again properly) and am now in EL Private Collection. Spectacular floral chypre, nuclear sillage, terribly grown-up and absolutely fabulous.

I feel as if I need to be wearing a shoulder-padded power suit and huge gilt earrings, possibly stalking across 5th Avenue with a Filofax and a brick phone. Instead I am on the sofa in yoga pants and slippers with toast crumbs down the front of my bobbly jumper...

Have you got the perfume or the ‘eau’ Maud?
I have the vintage eau and it’s still pretty powerful. I don’t think the perfume is made any more?

i love a grown up scent. in my head i am 28 but the reality is 20 more... think it's why i love Timeless so much.

i have doused myself in Avon So soft because i get eaten alive in this damp weather and it helps the coeur de fleur stay on longer than 4 bloody seconds...

off to the ballet ce soir! should have gone into town early to sniff stuff but i am too tired. which doesn't bode too well for being seated for 9 million hours in a theatre.....

SOTD for a (mostly) sunny day was Philosykos. Off on holiday to Italy next weekend so pottering about getting a few bits. Picked up a Korres fig shower gel in TK Maxx to take away with the Philosykos- no such thing as too much fig!

Have just sprayed the MFK Grand Soir I collected from the sorting office and it's as good as I remembered. That may have to come away too...

I read someone on here really loved the Korres fig shower gel . Was it you can’t?. So I got several ......in different flavours in Tk’s the other day.
I’ve just been for a rather lovely dog walk. I’m that weirdo that goes around smelling the hedgerows. The Hawthorne has started to flower and it’s one of my favourite smells. I bought Chanel beige because of the Hawthorne.

SOTD Chanel 19. We’ve been out for a really lovely lunch, I made fajitas for dinner, and now watching BGT. maud I am your sartorial twin, except I have Costco knock-off Uggs on instead of slippers. All about the glamour.

Not posted about the Korres here teta but yes, they are lovely. Think they do some fragrances as well but not tried any

SOY (Scent of yesterday as I'm in bed now) was McQueen by Alexander McQueen. Very powerful & smells similar to Lancôme's Poeme but the sillage is not as strong.
McQueen starts out with a heavy blast of Jasmine & Tuberose.

No sotd yet.
Mooching about. We've had pancakes and ds1 has done some revision.
Ds2 still has his homework to do.
I might wait til later for perfume.
I'm off for a nap! :)

Ds is out and dp is watching the football, so I've settled down with a cup of tea, some chocolate biscuits and this thread which I think signalled the early evolution of the perfumistas. I recognise a couple of contributors (mainly by their perfume choices ) but would love to know where @DonaAna got to...

After smelling Catalyst I stuck my nose in my cat's litter tray for olfactory relief.
That perfume smelt so bad I wanted to slap it's face.
