On the high street, I find Givenchy L’Interdit has a strong tuberose. It also has sweet toffee notes.

Out of curiosity what is the germolene scent mentioned in the opening post?

Nuit de Bakelite by Naomi Goodsir. My favourite tuberose. But bonkers and NSFW.

Thank you so much for the tuberose suggestions, everyone! I have tried Do Son and it wasn't great on me, but all the others are new to me and a great place to start. Think I am due a trip to Liberty, Bloom and Les Senteurs at some point...

SOTD is Monyette Paris for a lazy Sunday visiting family.

Mother another tuberose you might like to try is Nasomatto Narcotic V. They have it in Liberty and Selfridges. I have Fracas which I love, but have to be in mood for it. Narcotic V is easier to wear.

SOTD is Blood Concept Killer Vanilla - style over substance really but a decent leather if you like that sort of thing. I think I'll stick to Feu Follet and Etui Noir for my leather fix, though.

Mother, Fracas is probably the ultimate tuberose and a real classic. Give it a whirl, although I agree that Carnal Flower is probably an easier wear...just!

I'm very excited. I bought a bottle of eau de givenchy yesterday. i wore this a lot in the early 90s and I still love it. I am getting a slight peppery hit from the new version but it is as sparkling as I remember it.

SOTD is Floral Street Wonderland Peony. I smell like I've been doused in pina colada & rolled around a tropical beach then dipped in the salty ocean. Not over keen.

MotherOfDragonite more mainstream with tuberose is Michael Kors's Michael Kors Woman.
Avon's Rare Platinum smells very similar to the MK one but is heavier & I found it too much.

I wore Wonderland Peony yesterday if you read back a few posts.
On me it's pina colda/tropical fruit/beach sand/salty. God knows where the Peony disappeared too!

Buffy it's horrible when you drop or lose a favourite Perfume.
