Is that the engagement Issa dress Kate is in? Obviously she looks beautiful but the other Cait looks good in it too!

total number of engagements is a little misleading. Some maybe do 3 20 minute engagements in a day where as someone else spends 5 hours on one engagement but the former appears to be busier.

queen I think it suits Kate's shape better. The waist seems to make Kate's waist look even smaller but on Cait? the waist seems to add bulk.

Anyone over a size 10 isn't going to look great in that dress. It's really unforgiving and the shiny fabric highlights all lumps and bumps. Cait does not look good at all. Thinking back to the footage of that announcement though Kate seemed really shy and uncomfortable which is a stark contrast to MMs confidence which is probably what's got the DM pearl clutchers noses put out of joint.

You forget how thin Kate was before she got married. This is probably why she wheels out her 15 year old Johsaw suits to shout out “Three kids and I can still fit into it!”

Tipsey I agree the Megan's confidence being apparently 'wrong' in the eyes of the DM and their friends. Doesn't it just show what a narrow space society tries to shove these women into though - to expect a woman in her thirties who is an actor and used to the media and cameras to behave in the same way as a woman in her twenties who has had none of that experience? Ridiculous! (And I bet you anything that if Megan had pretended to feel shy and overwhelmed she'd have been called fake and accused of simpering and whatever).

I thought lady davina lived a pretty low key life; they look vex in London and there’s loads of kiwis there. It’s not like she made him dress in tweed and go shooting in Norfolk every weekend.
( good news is; he’s single now!)

I think there are time when Meghan is definitely nervous, like big royal occasions, like the Commonwealth thing, balcony appearances, royal Christmases. But it’s more from wanting to do things correctly and not making mistakes. She tends to cling to Harry a bit more, and you can see from her expression, even though she’s smiling, she’s a bit wide eyed and taking it all in.

When she’s carrying out her own engagements she is supremely confident. I think in this last trimester she’s really come into her own.

From watching her, she seems to excel at making connections with people, on walkabouts and visiting places and so on. The big set piece balcony whatsits must be absolutely shit-inspiring for anyone doing them for the first time - so much protocol and tradition and everyone watching your every move because you're the new girl! Eep.

Hope she's happily nesting away - just resist the temptation to scrub all the tile grout with a toothbrush, Megan, it won't bring labour on and you'll get sore knees...

Wow Zara looked fabulous yesterday - easily the best royal outfit I've seen all month. Anyway, must get ready as I'm off to the Dior exhibition at the V&A today. Very excited!

I know I shouldn’t be ageist but Daphne du M was 14 years older than the DofE, they were both married and she had 3 children, the oldest of whom is only 7 years younger than the Queen.

Even in the article about the pram the DM finds a way to get a dig in - they cost £1500 and are "a far cry" from the "traditional" Silver Cross Balmoral that Kate used 🙄

Never mind that the Balmoral costs even more and Kate only seems to use it for special occasions!!

I think it’s the land rover i candy that costs £1500, the others are round £ 900-1100 I was not that impressed with them tbh.

Those Silver cross ones look truly ridiculous Nowadays . Nice and traditional , but how on earth can you navigate them on cobbled paths, or muddy parks. I’ve seen a couple a around, always felt sad for the poor small nanny trying hard push it around.

I think the Silver across at Charlotte’s christening was purely for the photo op. It was probably a vintage one of Prince Charles taken out of storage.
