Sorry, that's right, I was getting confused between them. Although Duke of D also crazy wealthy! which is my point. The royal family have loads of cash, seperately to what we the public supposedly give them.

On a separate note, the Duke of Westminster really IS the kind of duke in romance novels right? Ie young, attractive and rich! In real life dukes are normally old and crotchety which kind of kills the reality aspect of all those historical romance novels! :) It's a rip off tv series, waiting to happen.

The Duke looks more like the Dec (as in Ant and) of Westminster in the phot upthread though!

But yes, it's a plot straight out of a Georgette Heyer novel.

There are a couple of young dukes around, but I think Hugh Grosvenor is the only unmarried one.

I read that Meghan has employed an ex advisor to Tony Blair and the Clintons. The person named, (can't remember ) doesn't seem to have been all that successful at either.

I think such an obvious spin doctor is a mistake. They're the story. As we've said before Harry is the same as Andrew an also ran whose role should fade as William's rises and the children get older.

As an aside I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Dickie Arbiter once. Sharp as a pin, knew his stuff and totally charming.

I don't think Harry takes after Andrew, at least he's achieved something with Invictus and Sentebale. Also he'll still be relevant for quite a while as he'll be the king's son. And William's children are many years from taking on royal duties.

Harry is not like Andrew. Anne is still relevant, and was one of three siblings to Charles. Harry being the only sibling is much more important.

As is Edward. He and Sophie do quite a lot. It's just Andrew who's the family embarrassment but Harry's days of being like that are now over. It seems like he gave his head a good shake and found a purpose in life.

You could say Harry hasn't even had his biggest role yet at the moment he is grandson tonybe queen but he is about to become a child of the king so I think there is a way to go before he is allowed to fade away.

Andrew sold South York for a massively inflated price to one of his dodgy Kazakhstani mates. He inherited his current house from the Queen Mum.

Zara looking very smooth again today, with another fun hat. She really does look great at Cheltenham - I much prefer her hat and coat combinations there than others we see over the year.

And stats on which royal worked the most in 2018. Interesting that Andrew did more engagements than Sophie and the Duke of Gloucester more than William or Harry! And the Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra are over 80 but still chugging away.

Meghan has landed at no 12, which I suppose is commendable when she's only been a royal since May. She did quite a few pre-wedding engagements too but I don't think they're counted in this list.

So Andrew must still be doing a lot of engagements on the quiet then? I don't remember seeing him apart from around Eugenie's wedding!

I know kate was on Mat leave in 2018 fair enough but if you look at 2017, When she did a full year and only equalled Meghan in her 9 months bet the DM don't point that out!
