Thanks Ella hoping you are feeling bit better today🤞🏻

twosoups1972 · 06/03/2019 17:50

Ooohhh a shiny new thread, thanks ella hope you are feeling ok.

neveradullmoment99 · 06/03/2019 18:02

Thanks for the new thread @Ella :)
How are you? Are you home?

neveradullmoment99 · 06/03/2019 18:04

Oh and thanks for all the lovely congratulations about the grandchild 2.

Ellapaella · 06/03/2019 18:05

Thanks everyone, yes I'm home. I'm ok and pleased not a blood clot on the lung. Have been told that it may take some time to adjust to my 'new' circulation which is why I may be feeling a bit out of puff.
Thanks for asking - I'm all good and pleased to be back at home with my boys.

OP posts:
dontcallmelen · 06/03/2019 18:09

Ella glad you are home & no clot, yy the new circulation takes time for adjustment I would imagine, are you on any other meds? as I find the beta blocker increases my breathlessness sometimes especially when the fatigue is really bad.

Ellapaella · 06/03/2019 18:17

No just aspirin and clopidogrel. I had quite a large shunt from left to right and so the left side of my heart has only just started to have 'normal' volumes in it for the first time in my whole life, they say this can take a bit of time to get used to (maybe up to 4-6 months).

wearenotacodfish · 06/03/2019 18:36

Ella thanks for the new thread and I'm glad to hear you are home and feeling a bit better.

Well lent starts today so sis weeks of no shopping for me. I'm planning to live vicariously through you lot though.

dontcallmelen · 06/03/2019 18:45

Ella ooh yes that must definitely be an odd sensation for you especially with volume suddenly increasing, least you have confirmation now as to why you were feeling so unwell, which I think helps a bit psychologically, take it easy & rest up when you are feeling fatigued or tired.

SoyYo · 06/03/2019 19:46

Ella thank you for the new thread which is super amazing considering what you’re going through Flowers and very glad to read the blood clot at least is no longer a worry. Take good care of yourself.

@Each I know Arran Aromatics! They’re fabulous and I have one of their room scent sprays in my bathroom. Great Scottish company.

So for all of us that have been through a lot of challenges lately today is a New Moon in Pisces. This thread is not the place for me to tell you about my esoteric beliefs Wink but if you feel so inclined light a candle and make a wish! You never know...it may just come true Smile

I really love the Jayne dress but it just seems so short! https://www.hush-uk.com/womenswear/daywear/dressesskirts/jaynedresspinkleopard.htm
Anyone ordered it?

OP posts:
Ellapaella · 06/03/2019 20:04

@SoyYo thank you for that..❤️

OP posts:
twosoups1972 · 06/03/2019 20:41

That's a relief ella

codfish that's ambitious! Do you think you'll manage it??

Someone on the last thread mentioned teaming the Hush black/white wide jersey tee with black cropped trousers or Capri pants. Does anyone have any suggestions for such trousers please?

Also if anyone is interested, Whistles have a sale on at the moment. Their prices have also gone through the roof but there might be a good buy or two in the sale.

FuzzyPuffling · 06/03/2019 20:43

Hello again all...thanks for the new thread Ella.

I got the new Hush catalogue in the post today. Can't say it thrilled me...I liked the denim shorts with stars on , but not at £55.

twosoups1972 · 06/03/2019 20:44

Must have missed that never but congratulations! Is it your ds or dd's baby?

twosoups1972 · 06/03/2019 20:47

ella I like the look of that dress too, haven't ordered though. I think you could pull it off!

OP posts:
Ellapaella · 06/03/2019 20:49

@twosoups1972 I would be too paranoid about the dress riding up when I sit down - it seems very short! I'll have to have a trip to JL to try a few things I think.

Just a quick question for you lovely people - I bought a lovely dark purple velvet mini skirt from Jigsaw recently. I've now realised I have nothing to wear with it! It's needs a short-ish jumper what what colour goes with purple? I have a grass-y green jumper from Cos but not sure that would work.

Ellapaella · 06/03/2019 21:26

Neutral oatmeal? Or perhaps teal?
Green could work but it would need to be the right shade I think.

miffy2 · 06/03/2019 22:03

Quickly dipping in to mark my place as I have to catch up with all the posts.

I have been a total Hushista this week. I have worn two Felix tunics, burgundy and navy, from a couple of years back, a burgundy Claire jumper, black ruched skirt...even wore two Hush scarves (zebra and Pia) and black matt tights. #shoppingmywardrobe :D

neveradullmoment99 · 06/03/2019 22:16

Thanks soups. Its my ds wife that is expecting :)
Ella glad to hear you are home and feeling better :)
As for the purple skirt, what about a paler shade of the skirt or a lilac colour. You could also team with navy. Cream as a neutral or the oatmeal that ella said. Pale grey might be good too.

justilou1 · 06/03/2019 23:28

@Soups - MORE PURPLE! (I love purple!) Black, teal, Crimson for a gothic clash! Go wild!!!
