..Yes, but are you going to Rome Twosoups? Remember I am only shopping for Ella* .. I cannot be held responsible, if other people like the stuff also Wink Grin

dontcallmelen · 07/03/2019 21:16

Mrs I don’t think anyone has, I do love it though.
Think maybe never & cherries may have had the lemon one from last season.

dontcallmelen · 07/03/2019 21:21

Anyone watching celebrity apprentice, love Amanda Holdens navy shift dress.

SoyYo · 07/03/2019 22:30

@laska you have been super naughty and sooo enabling. Love the Boden t and skirt AND the OS pleated skirt (haven’t yet got round to the Hush PR link as I was working till 21.00 and then DH home, dinner, etc) and yes I do have that Boden too you dyed in the navy version enabled by YOU Hmm

Mrs sorry we can’t help Sad but it does look like a really versatile channel vibe jacket if you buy do report back. They had similar styles in previous seasons and I returned as they were too boxy for me but the previous seasons woven fabrics were lovely and quite lightweight. Don’t let boxy potential put you off as they do slightly alter cut with each season.

@cod and @len your resolve and will of steel continues to amaze me

So now I’ll look for ideas for @Ella and La Dolce Vita...

SoyYo · 07/03/2019 22:36

@Ella you could do a la Audrey and have a long pleated skirt and fitted cotton shirt, espadrilles and the 😎 or silk scarf to finish off.
Bellísima!!

SoyYo · 07/03/2019 22:41

@cherries you’re very quiet today...thinking of you Flowers

Tomorrow I’m having a day off to have a Deva curl by curl cut and Olaplex treatment. I’ve decided I’m not going to dye my hair anymore and go silver (a decision I may regret so don’t hold me to it!). DH has volunteered to drive me the 2 hour journey and back (he’s definitely a keeper!) so I’ll let you all know how it goes.

Ellapaella · 07/03/2019 22:45

Ah Soyo if only I could look like Audrey! I think skirts fit better on me than most dresses, I may hunt for a nice midi/maxi skirt.

I had Olaplex at my last hair appointment, the hairdresser made it sound like it was going to change my life but to be honest I didn't notice any difference. Do you have all 3 steps?

Ellapaella · 07/03/2019 22:46

Also @SoyYo (fellow Netflixer) we have just started watching something called Suberro - you should give it a try. It's all based on gang life in Rome, it's very gripping.

OP posts:
SoyYo · 07/03/2019 22:50

@Ella I reckon you’d carry off a pleated high waist midi beautifully.
No I’ve never had an olaplex but the guy who cuts my hair is a huge stickler for CG method so it’ll probably be the step without silicones...it’s my consolation for not having it coloured anymore.
We shall see though I do have naturally very dry hair so any deep conditioning treatment is bound to help (she hopes)...

SoyYo · 07/03/2019 22:52

Thanks for the Netflix Suberro tip
It’s bound to be far better than the depressing Question Time in right now Angry

neveradullmoment99 · 07/03/2019 22:56

Loving the dye project @laska. It looks way better now!! Love the print of that dress and the colour looks beautiful. I also love the striped jumper/top. Looks fantastic. Definitely on my wish list.
So tired tonight. My dd had two of her little friends over and OMG I am shocked. They were HYPER!! Mental note to myself not to have any more than one 7 year old at any given time.
Agree with @Soyo. You have been quiet @cherries. Hope you are ok .

SoyYo · 07/03/2019 22:56

That’s it I’m off to bed and will watch Netflix. Just seeing Dominic Raab’s face is making me 🤬
think good thoughts soyyo

neveradullmoment99 · 07/03/2019 22:59

@soyo, I was using henna and decided to stop dying my hair with it as I wanted to see how long I could grow the grey in but I couldn't do it. I would llike to look amazing with grey hair but not sure I could pull it off. I knew a woman that looked utterly fabulous with grey curly hair. She had it styled into a kind of wacky longish bob and she looked amazing. He hair always reminded me of two tone wool - in a nice way...sort of artsy and it always looked gorgeous.

SoyYo · 07/03/2019 23:00

Hi 👋 @never! Your day sounds totally exhausting. You so deserve a Wine . A teacher, a lot of kids at home your own and borrowed! Grin
Hope you have a more relaxing day tomorrow.

neveradullmoment99 · 07/03/2019 23:02

I am doing nothing tomorrow!!!!! It was punishing. I had to get them all to sit on the floor to calm down!
In the end I had a dominos and wine :)

SoyYo · 07/03/2019 23:03

@never you give me Hope 🙏 that would be my ideal too but I’m not that grey yet so I hope it works. I have spotted some stripes of grey down my front curls now but I want to avoid the witchy look which is a danger with longish very curly hair (specially on frizzy days!) I’m hoping the olaplex will help keep it healthy

SoyYo · 07/03/2019 23:04

Good for You! Dominoes and wine Grin I like!

twosoups1972 · 07/03/2019 23:05

Soy was half watching Question Time too. Margaret Becket is looking old isn’t she?

SoyYo · 07/03/2019 23:12

Yes you’re right @soups she is getting on a bit but at least she’s on form and talking sense.
Honestly I hate Brexshite sooo much I’m switching off the telly now.
All my good woo woo New Moon vibes are disappearing when I watch the idiot brexiteers Shock

dontcallmelen · 08/03/2019 08:25

Soy I have Olaplex when I get my hair done, I found it really good my hair feels so soft & really shiny also seems to help my hair behave for ages I don’t hair curls, buts it’s thick & has a wave & likes to stick out at mad angles.
never omg three seven year olds, definitely wine would be needed.
Cherries hope you are ok & pain is manageable.

SoyYo · 08/03/2019 08:28

Morning! On my way to curl cut (DH is my kind chauffeur) and just wanted to mention today is International Women’s Day. I’m grateful for this sisterhood and for the ones who fought for my rights so we can choose who we want to be. Let’s make sure we do the same for the future generation of women and the fight is not over till every baby girl on the planet is born with equal rights to her baby brothers.
Honour and Respect the Divine Feminine ❤️

dontcallmelen · 08/03/2019 08:31

Yy the Sisterhood.
Have a lovely day & curls will look totally 😍

NotAnActualSheep · 08/03/2019 08:37

Goodness! I thought I'd catch up on the thread on a long and boring train journey this morning, and I am so behind... not only have you finished the old one, but you're 5 pages into a new thread....gahhhhhh. Thanks Ella!

I'm loving the photos... Laska you look brilliant in the stripey top with the cropped trousers and red sandals! V chic - love it. And also Yy to others who have said the teal dress (and top) looks amazing. Would love to see that modelled Smile. It's nice in the original colours I think, but agree that the brighter colour will really suit you.

Also, v late to the party, but justilou, your photos in the last thread were amazing! You're obviously one of those annoying people who seem to suit every colour, and your skin looks fab. So bright and glowing (in a good way...not in a sweaty way). You could maybe lose the Valkyrie hat though...Grin.

Ella and cherries - hope you're continuing to recover. And never hope you enjoyed your well deserved Wine. Yy to hyper 7 year olds....ConfusedShock. soy hope you enjoy your day off and haircut. You deserve it -sounds as if you're having a somewhat busy time, and more to come.... take care of yourself too. Flowers

And waves to others too. len and codfish. Please can I come back onto the bench for a bit? I had a sojourn off it and bought a few things (which I'm keeping most of Blush ) but I think that is me for now. I reckon I can do the lent thing too... I'm trying generally to cut down on buying things but my wardrobe doesn't believe me at all...I've got to the stage where there's not enough room for everything unless there's a huge washing basket of overflow....kind of like how there's not enough room for all the airplanes in the world unless some are in the air... (I know that's not true, but it's a good analogy...).

So I'm loving the zebra dress. It is really bright but very happy and floaty and doesn't feel sweaty at all really. Not 100% sure it's £65 worth but I do like it. Ditto the blue Helena shirt. I think that will get a lot of use as its long enough to wear as a bum- covering top as well as tucked in. Also the striped trainers I love, a la Ella. They will stay white for about 3 seconds but are really comfy and versatile. I'm also on team ombre top. I agree with soy that it's really thin, and with everyone that it's short in the body but the colours are soooo good, and I love the neckline/ back. I think tucking/ half tucking the front in sort of hides the shortness so I can kind of get away with it, though objectively it's not the most flattering shape. I tried it with that toast khaki skirt which I liked in terms of colours/ general style.

I'm not totally sure about the Santana skirt/ Cami combo. I think I need to try that again, though I know everyone says the Santana is really useful. Also the washed green Oakland top. I tried that in a medium for slouchiness but it's too big really...even though I know it's supposed to be. Not sure I love it enough to try the small instead. And the tiger cropped jumpsuit is awful...really shiny fabric and the back is kind of flappy open so bra-exposing. The shape overall isn't bad, but definitely not worth the £££ for me.

ilovecherries · 08/03/2019 08:40

Hey everyone, Happy International Women’s Day to a group of women I’ve never met, but who have definitely enriched my life.

I’m fine, just off to hospital for a wound check and to see consultant.

mrs, I do have that jacket in lemon. It’s very nice but mine was half price in the sale, it’s really just a cardigan, and I feel it’s a bit overpriced at full price. Having said that, I’ve worn it a fair bit, and although it sheds a bit, it was washed well.

dontcallmelen · 08/03/2019 08:50

never yy grey hair can look so stylish, I have a cousin who went grey really young & she looks amazing, I can’t imagine her with any other colour, hers is that sort of silvery grey.
