TwoSoups no you dont , if you follow the instructions they should be colour fast .. i have found Dylon mchine wash to be fine and the machine is fine after (I do run it empty after for a cycle usually with soda crystals and make sure i clean the in the rubber door sill with a cloth) ,
Dylon is pretty foolproof but when I did my burgundy Amies with RiT dark red dye, (Dylon didn't have the shade I wanted) i did wash then separately and was glad i did because it took a couple of washes before the water stopped being a bit pink.
I think you do have to be a bit more careful about cleaning the machine out after if you are of dyeing in a washer/dryer though , cherries found there was a problem after with staining I think .. Mine is just a straight washer..
Now I am thinking .... if that wide top were to be in the sale ( but it wont) , it would look great with black/bright pink stripes wouldn't it ? ..
