Ooh we had that on a previous thread. Apparently she altered it and when girls bought it and discovered it didn't look as nice on them they were fuming, lol.

BeautifulComicalThings · 24/02/2019 22:55

Elspeth ah that’s interesting! I actually just looked on the website to see if they were still selling it (they’re not) as I quite fancied it Grin

LaurenOrdering · 24/02/2019 22:56

I can really see Meghan pulling this Halpern jumpsuit off post baby (watch the video to see it at it's best) www.matchesfashion.com/products/Halpern-Sequinned-wide-leg-jumpsuit-1260547
Although Michael Halpern is a New Yorker his label is London based.

Stuff Dorothy Perkins, Meghan needs to see the best design house in the UK.........Primarni 🤣

queenofarles · 24/02/2019 22:57

Awful Dior dress.

QueenOfTheAndals · 24/02/2019 23:03

Wait @LaurenOrdering, isn't Primarni Irish?

OP posts:
LaurenOrdering · 24/02/2019 23:09

Ah yes forgot that.....I suppose it will have to be Nouveau Regardez then 😊

LaurenOrdering · 24/02/2019 23:10

(New Look)

itswinetime · 24/02/2019 23:12

Isnt Dorothy Perkins part of the same company as top shop? So owned by Phillip green or have I got that wrong?

QueenOfTheAndals · 24/02/2019 23:13

L'Isle de Rive?

OP posts:
QueenOfTheAndals · 24/02/2019 23:15

It is @itswinetime. That, Wallis, Evans, Principles (if that's still around) and possibly Miss Selfridge.

OP posts:
BartonHollow · 24/02/2019 23:15

Primark is Irish yes

And existed as Penney's there before launching as Primark here

QueenOfTheAndals · 24/02/2019 23:15

There's one very British brand you've all missed though...

OP posts:
itswinetime · 24/02/2019 23:17

Ahh I thought it was Dorthy Perkins too mainly because by gift vouchers used to be for all of those but I stand corrected Wink

AFifthOfKoolAid · 24/02/2019 23:19

Primark is Irish?! I didn't know.

M&S, Queen?

itswinetime · 24/02/2019 23:19

Nope I was right the Arcadia group.

Arcadia Group Ltd. is a British multinational retailing company headquartered in London, United Kingdom. It owns the high street clothing retailers Burton, Dorothy Perkins, Evans, Miss Selfridge, Topman, Topshop, Wallis and the out of town chain Outfit, which sells lines from the other group chains.

According to Wikipedia anyway the worlds most trustworthy source Wink

QueenOfTheAndals · 24/02/2019 23:19

I meant DP is owned by Philip Green, all part of his Arcadia Group.

OP posts:
itswinetime · 24/02/2019 23:20

Sorry I skimmed the post Blush

QueenOfTheAndals · 24/02/2019 23:20

But of course @AFifthOfKoolAid! Maybe our Megs could provide them with the fashion impetus they need?

OP posts:
AFifthOfKoolAid · 24/02/2019 23:21

I bet Kate was the type of girl rich and trendy enough to get her weekend clothes from Kookai and Morgan when girls like me were shopping at C&A and Etam.

I miss the old high street.

QueenOfTheAndals · 24/02/2019 23:22

(Btw it's the Oscars tonight so head over to the celeb style thread for more frock talk!)

OP posts:
AFifthOfKoolAid · 24/02/2019 23:23

Didn't she make that cashmere jumper sell out?

Last time I went in there for a browse there was some hideous mustard cullote-based suit. Not a fan.

QueenOfTheAndals · 24/02/2019 23:23

Is Kookai still around? My Meghan green coat that I've had 6 years is by them.

OP posts:
BartonHollow · 24/02/2019 23:23

I bet Kate and Pippa got kitted out in Selfridges teen section when on hols

I only went to London a handful of times and not til my late teens, the department stores were another world

itswinetime · 24/02/2019 23:26

AFifthOfKoolAid · 24/02/2019 23:29
