New thread for scented discussion, plus cats, teeth, and cats with problem teeth. Everyone welcome, we are as friendly as the title suggests!

I’ve resprayed.... Mito on my right arm - glorious Galbanum
Aedes de Venustas - rhubarb mellowed by incense.
Just to check my nose isn’t broken or hormones too awry.
Nope, it’s not me, it’s the perfume.
Has anyone ever tried returning niche?
Georgian, sounds exciting.
Pots I hope things have settled down.

67chevvyimpala · 23/02/2019 19:57

I went to IKEA yesterday aubergine :)

Very exciting news about the cafe!? Are we allowed to know more?? :)

Hoping things in the pots household has calmed down!

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 23/02/2019 21:43

SOTD was Miss Dior for a haircut and then a catch-up with a friend. SOTE is Miu Miu.

I went out with bare ankles and my leather jacket today. Positively spring-like.

I love Maai. I'd have a FB in the blink of an eye in the event of a premium bond win. Smile I seem to be turning into the Queen of civet....

No, Teta. Is it something that will hold its value on ebay if they are unsympathetic? I have flogged off things because of exactly this sort of difference between batches. So frustrating to not get quite what you expect. Sad

MrsMoggs · 23/02/2019 21:47

On to lower brow shopping matters; Aldi have the best ever cat toy in this week (feathers on a bouncy, extendable fishing rod) and there is a special edition Zoflora, Lavender Escape, in Home Bargains. Good Times Grin.

MrsMoggs · 23/02/2019 21:49

Gah! Got my Mito and my Maais mixed up! Love both.

Georgianfairy · 23/02/2019 22:22

Thank you, lovely perfumistas, it is exciting! It's been a long-held dream of ours and things came together recently to allow us to go for it. It will hopefully be open in about 6 weeks so there's not much to tell at the minute but it's just going to be a fairly standard menu of breakfasts, soup, sandwiches etc.

MaudBaileysGreenTurban · 24/02/2019 09:19

That's very exciting georgian! I'd love a cafe - a friend and I almost went for one a few years ago but it didn't come off in the end. I still rather regret it.

SOTD is Habanita. This is such a fabulous scent and a total bargain - I would highly recommend picking a bottle up off allbeauty or similar if you like powdery, woody vanillas. It just sort of envelops you in a cloud of soft vintage loveliness.

67chevvyimpala · 24/02/2019 09:52

Sounds beautiful maud

Another for my list

MaudBaileysGreenTurban · 24/02/2019 09:58

A bit of Sunday morning enabling for you, chevvy

teta · 24/02/2019 10:08

I’m wearing the glorious vintage Eau d private collection. Delightfully oakmossy for a day of gardening in hazy sunshine.

auberginesrus · 24/02/2019 10:11

Ooh sounds lovelyMaud - what scent to wear for a return trip to IKEA (bought the wrong size is something, luckily it's not too far) and dragging ds2 out for a walk in the sunshine?

MrsMoggs · 24/02/2019 10:18

Chevvy - there's some Habanita in your package. Maud is right, that's a stupendously good deal for a gorgeous perfume.

Georgian - that is very exciting. Could you give it a perfume-themed name (!), or is it a going concern, where you'll keep the current identity?

Heading out for a bracing walk...not sure what SotD should be?

MrsMoggs · 24/02/2019 10:24

Aubergines - do you have any Byredo or Agonist to hand?

67chevvyimpala · 24/02/2019 10:42

Oooh! Fab!

I know I said I'm over my perfume buying budget but....

I'm so buying it if I like it! 😁😂

67chevvyimpala · 24/02/2019 10:49

Well, ironing almost done.

Its foggy and grey here so sotd pp by the fireplace

auberginesrus · 24/02/2019 10:54

MrsM unfortunately not! Have gone for Paul Smith Rose, just because the weather is so lovely Smile

teta · 24/02/2019 11:33

The Habanita bottle is very pretty. Unfortunately orientals and my skin don’t normally see eye to eye.
Georgian we are also thinking of purchasing a food business so tell us how it’s going.
Mrsmoggs may well sell the J Heeley on eBay if I can’t return it. There’s no samples available on the website which makes me think they are possibly discontinuing this .
It’s really warm here in the sun and feels like April.

MaudBaileysGreenTurban · 24/02/2019 12:37

I'm sitting in the garden in just a t-shirt - it's actually properly warm here! Lovely, and so needed.

MrsM has come up trumps with the Habanita sample, great minds Grin

auberginesrus · 24/02/2019 13:34

Very warm here too - finding it strangely disconcerting, although it is lovely to feel the sun again!

Lotsofpots · 24/02/2019 15:43

Oooh the Habanita sounds delish. But just ordered the 4160 scent of the week so absolutely cannot buy anything new. And I'm still trying to save for some spendy favourites.

A cafe aubergine! That is so exciting.

SOTD is zoologist elephant. I like this so much in spring (it's nearly here!) - the pulpy, slightly rotten note makes me a bit heady in the heat of summer, but I adore it when it's warm and fresh at the same time, if that makes any sense.

All much calmer here. Enjoying the lovely weather with a big family lunch.

67chevvyimpala · 24/02/2019 19:21

lots sexiest scent is my fave 4160. Hope you like it!

CountFosco · 24/02/2019 20:30

SotD EA Green Tea since it is so spring like.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 24/02/2019 22:40

SOTD Heeley Hippie Rose. Why do the weekends always go so quickly?
