New thread for scented discussion, plus cats, teeth, and cats with problem teeth. Everyone welcome, we are as friendly as the title suggests!

Thank you teta and 67chevyimpala

beanaseireann found this thread on Fragrantica which might help? www.fragrantica.com/board/viewtopic.php?id=101804&show=all

I used to use the shower oil but haven't had any for a couple of years so my memory of the scent is a bit vague. But someone in that thread mentioned the Piver Heliotrope Blanc, and I think it might well go nicely. I actually picked up a bottle for £9.99 in TK Maxx last week and it doesn't last very long, but it's so lovely. It was in the men's fragrance section in mine.

cantbelievemyeyes · 03/03/2019 11:21

Am also thinking Etro's Heliotrope might be worth trying, similar to the Piver but more expensive, and a stronger scent- think there are samples on eBay, and there's definitely some Piver on there for £20 delivered at the moment.

I'm baking so smell of sugar and vanilla

CountFosco · 03/03/2019 11:30

SotD Avery E. I'm about halfway through my Perfume Society samples and everytime I wear this I enjoy it more. No idea how to choose between this and Nuit de Bakelite, they are so different and both fab.

67chevvyimpala · 03/03/2019 11:42

I was tempted by niche box 2

67chevvyimpala · 03/03/2019 11:47

Aaaaand...I've just bought niche box 2

🙄😩😂

CountFosco · 03/03/2019 11:52

I need to buy niche box 2.

KaliforniaDreamz · 03/03/2019 12:14

67 you're your own enabler!

sotd Acqua de wotsit Iris Noble LOVE IT

teta · 03/03/2019 12:18

I have box 1 and have been sitting on my hands so as not to buy box 2. Shall we all go for it?
Ooh I saw that Heliotrope in Tk Maxx the other day and thought it looked interesting. But then forgot to google.
Sotd is James Heeley Verveine. Yes, I can now smell it in full. It wasn’t the perfume it’s my nose. It must have been this long lasting flu-type bug. I wish my ears would go back to normal too as I can’t stay in any balance poses at the moment.

MrsMoggs · 03/03/2019 12:52

Scherrer Les Nuits Indiennes is a great heliotrope (with interesting progression) available on eBay for £12.99. The dark Aubade, (cant remember the name) keeps turning up in TKMaxx and is, as you might expect a rich boudoir-tastic, almond.

67chevvyimpala · 03/03/2019 13:23

Yes do!!!
....itll make me feel better and we can all have a sniff off :)
I was really impressed with box 1 and am still using the face oil from it.

67chevvyimpala · 03/03/2019 13:34

67chevvyimpala · 03/03/2019 14:13

I will, of course, pass on any I'm not keen on to interested perfumistas :)

KaliforniaDreamz · 03/03/2019 14:35

www.tkmaxx.com/uk/en/women/beauty/fragrance+perfume/c/01060500?q=&sort=publishedDate-desc&facets=stockLevelStatus:inStock&page=0

67chevvyimpala · 03/03/2019 14:37

For me from those choices either must de Cartier or aerin amber musk

MrsMoggs · 03/03/2019 14:41

I have it already Blush. Not as good as Niche 1, but still worth it. Will be interesting to trade views (Big Sniff territory?) Quite a lot of Byredo lookalikes (not sure if some of these are recent start-ups?). Two very different nerolis.

67chevvyimpala · 03/03/2019 14:47

I'm excited!

I've got that and my les senteurs samples on the way!

MrsMoggs · 03/03/2019 14:56

Kalifornia - if you fancy something a bit off beat, Haute Voltige is a snip at that price. It's a Bertrand Duchaufour and is an oddly medicinal/metallic pomegranate, juniper, moss and fir.

KaliforniaDreamz · 03/03/2019 15:10

Thank you Mrs

KaliforniaDreamz · 03/03/2019 15:13
