Coriandre is a great green and turns up.on eBay all the time. Feu Follet fans should try it.

I'm sitting on my hands...

I've got a few samples in my les senteurs basket...

teta · 02/03/2019 09:46

can’t if you want a literal forest scent Rook Perfumes Forest is one. Smells like walking through one. Or Undergrowth which is mint, soil and vetiver which just smells so fresh and natural.
Green perfumes are my favourite too. I’m currently in Eau d private collection vintage and it’s gloriously green and oakmossy. In fact In has distinct similarities to Mito. Silences is also truly beautiful.

MaudBaileysGreenTurban · 02/03/2019 10:57

All this talk of green scents makes me long for a bit of spring, bit after last week we're back to grey drizzle.

SOTD is Panorama by Olfactive Studio, which is a lovely citrussy green with a wasabi note.

67chevvyimpala · 02/03/2019 11:42

Oh and mrsgloss outdoors of course!

67chevvyimpala · 02/03/2019 12:02

Apparently my sister has a couple of bottles of perfume she no longer wants...result!

KaliforniaDreamz · 02/03/2019 13:53

SOTD White musk as it helps me when i have a slight hangover.

I've been remembering a evening about 20 years ago i was wearing this scent and this guy (a knew him) kept following me round, sniffing me and telling me how it reminded him of his first love. the one that got away. seriously banging on about how much the scent was killing him with memories....
He was with his new girlfriend. Confused

WEIRDO

KaliforniaDreamz · 02/03/2019 13:54

*an evening

67chevvyimpala · 02/03/2019 14:25

Ew. Weird!

I might give Avon velvet amber a whirl...

auberginesrus · 02/03/2019 16:15

I love a green scent too - the last couple of days I've been wearing Shay and Blue Dandelion and Fig which is a glorious sharp green figgy scent, might have to buy a FB of it. Perfume parlour do a dupe of Gucci Envy which is a green floral, I've never smelt the original so can't say how close it is but I like it!

Also been wearing Lipstick On a fair bit this week, not green, just lovely Smile wish the waxy opening would last a bit longer though,

67chevvyimpala · 02/03/2019 18:07

Well I've ordered lonestar memories and dries van noten from les senteurs.

XingMing · 02/03/2019 19:33

The DvN is a great call if you like sandalwood. I prefer Lonesome Memories to Lonestar, which is a bit wrights coal tar soap on me.

CountFosco · 02/03/2019 19:44

SotD Nuit de Bakelite. I love this but the DC and DH are not so keen. I had on a jumper this morning and have just put it back on and I'm now getting the top and midnotes again. Bliss.

Georgianfairy · 02/03/2019 20:00

I'll throw MM Promenade in the Gardens in as a green scent, it starts off florally but dries down to patch/vetiver/sandalwood. It gives me a Tweed vibe but I could be misremembering as it's a long time since I smelt it.

I didn't like Lipstick On at first attempt aubergines, the vinyl/plastic note is too prominent on me and really put me off.

Georgianfairy · 02/03/2019 20:09

On a vaguely related note, I am going to need something to keep the customer toilet in the café smelling fresh and clean. It's only a small space with a small extractor fan as the only ventilation so was thinking a reed diffuser? Any suggestions on ones that aren't overpowering? Other ideas welcome!

XingMing · 02/03/2019 20:26

If you have a Lidl locally, the pine/eucalyptus/vetiver reed diffuser is good for £4.

67chevvyimpala · 02/03/2019 20:36

Sote pp by the fireplace

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 02/03/2019 20:54

SOTD Byredo Bibliotheque. I just realised my POAL I bought with my birthday money from MIL has been languishing at my work for the last few days. That will be nice to go back to on Monday.

SotE x 2 = PP Bak to Black and Noire d Noire.

KaliforniaDreamz · 02/03/2019 21:33

lonestar memories is such a good name and is quite pricey too...

beanaseireann · 03/03/2019 10:30

Perfumistas perhaps you can help ?
I love Loccitane's almond shower oil and their body butter. Is there any perfume with a similar scent ?

teta · 03/03/2019 10:35

Guerlain Champs Elysees has a prominent Almond note. Along with predominantly Mimosa and other florals. Sometimes I think the almond is more prominent in cooler weather. I tend to amp it up by wearing over Aveeno body lotion. The almondy oil to cream ( or is it the other way around?).

teta · 03/03/2019 10:37

Also L’ Artisan Parfumeur Jour de Fete is pretty much just Almond.

67chevvyimpala · 03/03/2019 10:42

I think hypnotic poison is pretty almondy?

cantbelievemyeyes · 03/03/2019 10:48

Thank you all for these suggestions, I'm going to spend an evening looking them up! Went into TK Maxx in Manchester yesterday and blind bought a 30ml bottle of Atelier Cologne Trefle Pur for £24, and though fairly short lived which I expected, it's a really nice green, grassy, bitter orange. Well worth the bargain price!

SOTD for more shopping and jobs is FM Noir Epices.
