Previous thread

And I shouldn't have to say this anymore but will do so for any newbies - let's keep our critiquing to the clothes and not the women wearing them.

LoversLane a lovely theory but what about all the pre-Charlotte frocks. They're all much of a muchness aren't they?

BeverlyGoldberg · 14/02/2019 19:00

I've been a Catholic all my life and I've never heard anything of the sort.

But hey let's not allow some nice frocks to get in the way of a good Catholic bashing Hmm

beanaseireann · 14/02/2019 19:04

Thanks Queen.

Paradyning · 14/02/2019 19:12

Fluff fluff fluff frocks and tiaras. No other bollocks.

megletthesecond · 14/02/2019 19:17

queen "Go Chanel or go home" needs to be the next thread title.

Anyway, onto Harry. Didn't he look thrilled being back in uniform today and spending time with the military again.

princessbear80 · 14/02/2019 19:22

The queen looked radiant today. The blue looks lovely on her.

Agreed Harry looked in his element today
I wish he would shave off that awful beard.
It is not magnificent like James Middleton’s and he really should not be wearing it with uniform.

beanaseireann · 14/02/2019 19:43

I wish I could afford to 'go Chanel or go home' Smile

golondrina · 14/02/2019 19:49

come on Kate, choose more carefully, but does anyone really think they chose their own stuff? Surely it's all done by stylists and designers?

LoversLane · 14/02/2019 19:51

I think it’s a style she has always liked but she won’t move on from it just yet whilst she has a little girl who, I suspect, will light up when she sees her mum in her perfect idea of a princess dress.

QueenOfTheAndals · 14/02/2019 19:53

Then again Charlotte might be made in the mould of Great Aunt Anne and scorn fashion!

LoversLane · 14/02/2019 20:00

Very true! I did say mine was a silly theory. Just one I quite like because I have a daughter who would rather I wear a nice work dress with a lovely twirly skirt every single day of the week instead of my more practical trousers and jackets for having to go from piller to post meeting staff, contractors and organising stuff!

Mmmhmmokdear · 14/02/2019 20:02

Loving the Queen in that blue, it really suits her.

How jealous am I of Leti, still being able to wear a suit from 16 years ago?!

Inniu · 14/02/2019 20:08

Catholic Church doctrine is against IVF but absolutely does not take the position that a person conceived through IVF is an abomination.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 14/02/2019 20:13

William and Kate have really been promoting mental health the last couple of days.
Some great visits by Will to barbers shops and new dads groups.
I do think their iniatives will have such a long term benefit.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 14/02/2019 20:48

Anyone else seen recent posts that Meghan is having twins
(Would explain the huge bump)

peridito · 14/02/2019 21:26

I honestly don't think her bump is anywhere large enough for her to be having twins .

Just my view .

QueenOfTheAndals · 14/02/2019 21:30

I'm not sure bump size is indicative of anything tbh. I have friends who had bigger bumps at 6 or 7 months than I had at full-term!

OP posts:
LoversLane · 14/02/2019 21:30

Twins or not (and I’m pretty sure it isn’t) I still don’t know how she can maintain her balance in those heels.

peridito · 14/02/2019 21:34

Two babies = a larger bump than one .Trust me .

Rhubarbisevil · 14/02/2019 21:39

Back to the Edward photo - it’s a rather unfortunate angle as the lady looks like she is wearing rose ear muffs.

frugalkitty · 14/02/2019 21:48

Look at this lovely photo from Princess Eugenie's IG

frugalkitty · 14/02/2019 21:54

I'm not convinced by the bump/twins theory either, I think if it was twins it would have been announced. Does anyone remember what Fred and Mary did? Was it announced that CP Mary was expecting twins beforehand? I can't remember. I had a massive bump with my 11 and a half pounder but when I laid down it measured 'normal'. A friend had a huge bump (seriously huge) but only had a nine pounder. I'm also impressed by her ability to walk and not waddle in heels!

BartonHollow · 14/02/2019 21:56

I've just read that when Spike Lee Met Prince William he asked him why Prince Harry is known for using his name as an alias 😂

I can't see the rest of the article as it's behind a paywall but it's Vanity Fair!

megletthesecond · 14/02/2019 22:24

A colleague recently had twins. Average height, probably similar healthy build to the DoS and her bump wasn't that big at all. I would never have believed she was carrying twins on first sight.
