Is your south Dublin accent a SoCoDu or Ross O' Carroll Kelly accent ?

I'm sure I read quite recently that some people subconsciously change their accent to match people they are talking to, and that only empathetic people did it.

So if Meghan does, then it's surely not a bad thing.

On another note, a while ago (may have been a few threads back!) someone said they thought KM looked like Mel C. I'd never seen it myself, until I saw this photo pop up on my instagram today, and yes, I can definitely see a resemblance (and not just in the hair!)

That's a gorgeous tiara @margotsdevil, it reminds me of the one Zara Phillips wore on her wedding day.

I always thought Kate resembled Katie Holmes but can see the likeness to Sporty there @Schoeny.

And speaking of lookalikes, I saw this portrait of Diana at Kensington Palace yesterday and in a weird way it reminded me a bit of Meghan. I think it's just the smile, I know they actually look nothing alike!

What's the story with the emerald parure? I recognise it but can't think which it is.
That's a sad story about the Luisitania and the loss of her daughters.

You might be able to read some of the emerald story here, but it basically says that Albert designed the set for Victoria.

It was the 80s, the decade time forgot! I much preferred Diana's sleeker mid-90s outfits. She was really getting into her style stride when she died.

I missed the tiaras at the end as I had to get home but I'm planning to go back for the Victoria exhibition in the spring or summer.

I hope Meghan does not loose all of her American accent, I think she has a beautiful speaking voice, it has such a lovely tone.

Mel c does indeed look very like Kate.

I've never seen Mel C / Kate before, but they're like seperated at birth!

Same here as I've always thought Kate & Mel C look alike.
Talking of Diana & Meghan having similar smiles, I also think Harry & Meghan have similar noses.

Going back to jewels. When I visited the Tower of London to look at the Crown Jewels a few years back, I was gobsmacked by how brilliant & beautiful the crowns were & how so larger than life they seemed when knowing all the history behind them.
I remember joking to my friend that I needed to put my sunglasses back on as it was all so dazzling.

That is a stunning tiara, my favourite of all time - It's just so classic, elegant... and blingy!

Diana’s clothes were bespoke so she was given sketches and swatches of material so that she could get the actual gowns made up. The white dress was actually a maternity dress for a royal tour.

You can buy tiaras in the Kensington Palace ship but they were £195 and looked a bit cheap weddingy so worth a miss 👑

@Balloondog I'm probably too sensible to be a Margot but a girl can dream! I loved the tiara today - an unexpected find at the Ocean Liners exhibition at the V & A Dundee. Currently trying to persuade DH we need a trip to the London one...

No engagements for Kate this week and nothing for Meghan until the weekend, when she's off to Morocco. I'd like to see a caftan but I think we'll just see more of what she's been sporting lately. I'm not always keen on it but it's what she likes and we're unlikely to see a change til after the baby is born. We'll just have to suck it up!

oh that emerald tiara is beautiful...
i can see the appeal of diamond only tiaras - will match any outfit but I love the ones that have a coloured stone...
although i can't carry off a tiara - I am currently making my kids some new hairbands (bit of a hobby sewer here) am thinking of doing myself a blingy hairband and I can pretend its a tiara!!
