Yeah, I saw the Hush ones but, while nice, I feel no desire for ownership. I don’t usually get lustful over trainers but those MV ones just ring my bell with their pretty, tangy, metallic greeness.

justilou1 · 09/02/2019 00:31

@cherries-can’t say I blame you for being terrified there. An awake intubation would be awful! I hope your anaesthetist is kind and gentle. Ask if they can use silicone tubes (much softer) as you have had a damaged larynx in the past from previous intubations. (They may or may not entertain the idea) (I have had anaesthetists use them on me, and as a singer, the difference afterwards is huge!!!) I get that speed is the essence, so may not be possible.

Ellapaella · 09/02/2019 09:36

Catching up with the thread. Love the Hush canvas trainers - I'll get a pair when the weather is nicer if they have any left. It's still 5 degrees up here and it'll be April or May realistically before it's warm enough to wear canvas shoe or summery clothes so I'm going to try and be patient and hold off buying until at least March.

Gin I love your hallway, that deep blue is gorgeous. We are having a new kitchen installed end of April and having Karndean flooring put down throughout the kitchen and hallway as I love the wooden floor look. I'm slightly obsessed with interior design blogs at the moment as trying to get inspiration for redecorating. I really don't have 'the eye' for it myself so need to get my inspiration from others.

Laska love your outfits. The skirt is great and a lovely match with the blue cami.

Ellapaella · 09/02/2019 09:37

Oh and cherries awake intubation sounds very frightening, you are so brave. I hope it all goes well for you. I know a couple of people who have had the op and it's really been life changing for them.

dontcallmelen · 09/02/2019 11:51

Ella ooh how exciting, Kardean is lovely have a look at some ‘home’ magazines as well some are really expensive, but good one is 25 beautiful homes & cheaper ones are ‘Your Home & Style at Home’ they come out monthly, might be useful.

dontcallmelen · 09/02/2019 11:53

Cherries you are very brave, yy Ella posted I know someone’s who had the op quite a few years ago & it was life changing for them.

Ellapaella · 09/02/2019 12:19

Ooh Fuzzy! That's good to know!

SoyYo · 09/02/2019 13:34

Hi just sitting in the terrace in the sun being incredibly lazy and read a Paulo Coehlo book cover to cover in 2 days which feels incredibly indulgent.
@Fuzzy thanks for letting us know. The girls on this thread are multidimensional for sure!
Had a nice dinner of tapas last night with DH and lots of vino was imbibed 🍷
Tonight we are off south to Alicante (1 hour drive) to a music venue my cousins run in the city, live music and poetry, looking forward to catching up with family and friends and I think I’ll give my new Hush Devore maxi it’s first outing Wink

@Huff poor baby with the CP! I hope he’s a bit better when you read this and liked the things in your wish list specially the dresses.

Have a lovely weekend whatever you are up to!

dontcallmelen · 09/02/2019 14:10

Soy sounds heavenly have a lovely time, Devore skirt will look fabulous.
Fuzzy am very envious I always wanted to be an interior decorator
Or a French polisher/restore furniture I definitely have even more of crush on you now😃

wearenotacodfish · 09/02/2019 18:12

Lots of catching up to do

Soyo not jealous of your holiday at all, honest.

Gin I would paint it a dark colour I'm favouring dark green at the moment

Laska excellent haul I like it all but especially the t shirt.

My order arrived this morning but I was sent home from work yesterday with a sickness and managed to sleep for an entire day so I'm not feeling up to trying on. I am also sad because we had to cancel our weekend away. I shall try tomorrow and report back.

dontcallmelen · 09/02/2019 18:39

Cod hope you feel much better soon, can you maybe rearrange the weekend?

wearenotacodfish · 09/02/2019 18:42

Len we had tickets for a couple of shows so we can't rearrange sadly. We've given the tickets to friends and my in laws and the hotel to my in laws so they don't go to waste but I'm feeling very sorry for myself.

dontcallmelen · 09/02/2019 18:56

Aww that’s really bad luck Cod but at least someone has the benefit rather than being wasted, poor you 💐

ilovecherries · 09/02/2019 18:58

Bloody winter bugs, codfish, I hate them. No wonder you feel upset. I’m people-dodging while clutching a bottle of anti-bac,, will be distraught if I get ill at the moment.

We spent the afternoon walking round Morecombe Bay - I hadn’t realised it was so long - my garmin says we did nearly nine miles, and I felt every one of them, it was so windy. Then it was snowing heavily on A66 on the way home. Currently lying on sofa cuddling dog. I was distinctly in-glamorous today - it was def more a Seasalt day than a Hush day.

Talisin · 09/02/2019 19:26

So I ordered the Hush denim mini skirt which came today and also the devore leopard maxi skirt. The latter is entirely SoyYo’s fault - I don’t like leopard print, never have done and hadn’t even thought twice about this one until she wore it and I thought hmm, it’s not actually all that leopardy really...

I sized down for the devore and stuck to my normal size for the denim - it does come up big but because of the front split, I think I actually prefer that. It doesn’t look too big, just feels a bit loose.

dontcallmelen · 09/02/2019 19:34

Talisin you really are rocking both skirts, love them both yy the Devore its not that leopardy.

NaturalBornWoman · 09/02/2019 19:56

Hello Hush people, sorry to butt in but a weird thing just happened to me as I was ordering some stuff. I put a tshirt, a pair of sandals and a pair of trousers into my basket and the price for the trousers flipped from £59 to £0. It's all added up, with the trousers at £0 and I've had my order confirmation. It's a mistake right? It is my second largish order in a few days and I've bought a few things over the winter but I don't think they give random huge discounts do they?

Talisin · 09/02/2019 20:02

Thanks LenSmile

Ooh, I forgot to mention, I came across these bargainous Woodstock sandal dupes in M&S. They weren’t for me in the end but they were really, really comfy.

ilovecherries · 09/02/2019 20:04

Are the trousers still showing as in stock, natural? This happened to me once when me and someone else bought the same (last) item almost simultaneously. She was a nano-second ahead of me, and the item still appeared on my order confirmation but at zero cost.

Talisin · 09/02/2019 20:05

Natural never heard of them doing that but don’t question the luck!

Which trousers, BTW? I’m happy to test this myself...

dontcallmelen · 09/02/2019 20:05

Ooh very hush like & a bargain pric.

ilovecherries · 09/02/2019 20:07

And then to be clear, it showed as oos on the dispatch note...

Devore skirtis lovelyon you Talisin

NaturalBornWoman · 09/02/2019 20:10

Ah, they are showing as in stock but when I click on my size the price goes to £0. They are meant to be £45, not £59. Gutted because I really need them for my holiday Sad.

NaturalBornWoman · 09/02/2019 20:12

Talisin it's the cropped easy trousers.
