Oh yes @Laska, the frill wrap dress is gorgeous and will sell out.

Yes Never it looks really versatile and light. Really tempted.

Thank you Not chicken pox is a real pain. I hate seeing him suffering. And I've never had it so I'm terrified of catching it/shingles!

Huffthepuff · 08/02/2019 17:06

It was the Layton I was referring to Never. Just realised my post made no sense!

NotAnActualSheep · 08/02/2019 17:19

Oh no - don't say that they'll sell before next month!! Nnnngggghhhh. But they are only shoes. I can live without more shoes....

Oh huff - that's rather worrying! Are you able to be vaccinated against it, or is it too late? I agree - it's such a "common" disease for children I think we forget how nasty it is when they have it. DS had it last year when he was 6 (which is pretty late, i think) and even though he was old enough to understand not to scratch etc (he ended up slapping himself instead... Sad) it was awful that there wasn't too much we could do. He was having about 3 oat baths a day, and as much piriton as we could legally give - (he wasn't a fan of the calamine lotion/ cream) but it was still nasty. Glad to have got it over, I have to say...

neveradullmoment99 · 08/02/2019 17:29

All of mine have had it too but strangely had very similar spots one year even after having it. They definitely looked like chickenpox . All three had it it looked like it was passed on by their gran. She went to the doctor and she got told it was chickenpox. A week later, all the kids had it again but it wasnt anywhere near what they had the first time round.

Full on Envy here @soy!

Oh god, I hate CP with a passion. DD was hospitalised with it, she was so ill. Then to add insult to injury she ended up a few years later at 6 with the most awful shingles.

I have dipped my toe in s/s with the side strip trousers - both the popper wide leg ones, and the joggers. Don’t want to buy anything for my top half till I know what size it ends up. Have also ordered Leisel skirt to see if I’d like it for a summer skirt - suspect it might be too warm for my colouring but worth a look.

Really busy week trying to get all my projects tied up for a few weeks of, ,in the hope I can have a lighter week next week.

Laska2Meryls · 08/02/2019 19:16

I think The Farah midi dress will be popular also, and I am still quite keen on the Side Knot Tiger print skirt.. (if I ever get back to my decent weight )

Laska2Meryls · 08/02/2019 19:21

cherries I was wondering if you had gone in for the op as you have been quiet.. I hope you are OK, and not too apprehensive.. I am sure it will be fine.. (quite envious actually I'd love to have a reduction but it would be for entirely cosmetic e reasons.. ).

I am really the Lisel skirt and also the blue/ gold spot Jersey Nightie (which i got for £22.50) is a fab bargain.. its really lovely

neveradullmoment99 · 08/02/2019 19:30

I really like the side knot tiger skirt too.
@cherries, when is your op?

dontcallmelen · 08/02/2019 19:39

Just trying to catch up with all the pics, back in a mo.

Huffthepuff · 08/02/2019 19:48

How weird Never there seems to be very few rules to it. You are never fully immune I think.
Your poor ds Not! Horrible to see them in pain like that.
Cherries I didn't know a child could have shingles. How utterly awful for her and you. That just seems really unfair

dontcallmelen · 08/02/2019 19:49

Laska love the haul, colours are so pretty yy the Oakland sweat shirt I love minty green & olive it suits my colouring.
Soy so glad you are having a lovely break.
Fuzzy blowing a hoolie here as well, a truly awful day.
Huff fantasy basket sounds good, really hope Ds recovers quickly my dd has it when she was five months old, was horrendous she was literally covered.

ilovecherries · 08/02/2019 19:50

I’m beside myself, never, so I’m keeping it secret till it’s safely over :). DH and DD know, obviously, but no one else. I am absolutely terrified. I need an awake intubation and the last one I had was so horrific I gagged and panicked cleaning my teeth for weeks afterwards - and I still need sedation to actually get me into the dentists for a check up, having never feared the dentist before. I’m still not totally convinced I will go through with it if I’m honest. The only thing keeping me moving forward is the thought of hauling this chest around when I’m 90, getting less dexterous with managing the bras I need, and probably losing height, making it all worse. I will still probably be an F at the end of it, but believe me, that’s tiny compared to what I am now. There’s big, and there is bloody gigantic!

ilovecherries · 08/02/2019 19:54

I think if I keep it secret, I can still psychologically pretend it’s not happening, and can then talk about it in the abstract, if that makes sense.

dontcallmelen · 08/02/2019 19:55

Not sorry but seems to be a really good range of fab trainers around at the moment, Dh says this house is the forth bridge, it’s neverending all the walls need skimming really, but such an awful job I can’t face it so I’m learning to leave with mad lumps n bumps on all the walls.
Gin oooh teal floor sounds fab, Dh wouldn’t let me paint the old floor in the hall, as he said it would be a different colour everymonth😂

Huffthepuff · 08/02/2019 19:57

Totally understandable to keep it quiet Cherries must be such a daunting (understatement) thing to go through. But your quality of life will so vastly improve it seems essential.

Huffthepuff · 08/02/2019 19:58

I also quite like the striped shirt dress. It has something of a puritanical Toast vibe to it in my mind. But the draw string waist makes it more flattering than their straight up and down dresses

dontcallmelen · 08/02/2019 19:59

Cherries totally get what you mean, just keep telling yourself how much better your quality of life will be, now & in the future 😘

Temporaryanonymity · 08/02/2019 20:00

Quick question Hush fans: I want to order the harems, what size is a M?

dontcallmelen · 08/02/2019 20:02

Weather soo awful here today, I actually got blown into the road this afternoon dd tried to grab me & the pushchair went over on its side was really scary.

dontcallmelen · 08/02/2019 20:05

Laska meant to say as well, maybe try the cami a size down colour does suit though.

ilovecherries · 08/02/2019 20:06

temporary, I’d say in the harems the M is a very generous 14.

ilovecherries · 08/02/2019 20:12

I really like that striped dress as well, and also the susanna one.

FuzzyPuffling · 08/02/2019 20:26

CP scares the pants off me...DH is post cancer treatment and CP could be very bad news indeed for him. My good-hearted DD won't even come and stay with her two children until they have had CP.

I spent some time this afternoon dismantling an old (as in 30 years old) Liberty print skirt so I can reuse the fabric. Might make a top for myself. I fancy it would look fetching with my navy shorts in the summer.
