Hello all - I've disappeared for a bit under another deadline (up til 3am finishing stuff
). But done now...
Lovely to hear of people's buys and see the (non clothes related
) photos. ella that beach and sky looks lovely...I miss the north-east... Hope today went well and you are now drinking tea as promised honks
. And justilou - your dog is gorgeous! I'm not really a dog person, but I could make an exception (..those eyes...!) Sorry to hear about the hammock though. Whoops...
cherries - sorry you're still suffering with the boobs. Hope they calm down soon. Though you did make me laugh at wiring yourself up to the mains... I reckon renewaboob electricity could become a Thing
. Are you able to wash/ shower yet?
len - i hope your checkup went well, and you've been released for another 6 months to run around after DGD...
. And soups I'm really glad your DD seems to be coping back at school. Hope you find a suitable college soon so you both know what will be happening next year.
soy - your weekend sounds rather hectic... but I'm so glad your DS seems to be turning a corner and trying to recover. YY to nutrition (and a bit of sunshine!) being so important. I'm not vegan but am veggie, and I find that I feel much worse when I've had a few days of eating junk/ cheese sandwich platters/ bar food with work and so on. I just want to get home and have a big stir fry with All The Vegetables. Though I suppose everyone is the same, omnivore or not... I loooove that ombre shirt - the colours are great. Looking forward to seeing how you get on with that and your sale stuff.
Hello to the new posters (and not-new sproket/ missbobbins - I was wondering where you were!). Hope you managed to get the discounts in the end. But also - run, run away now or you'll get sucked in....
except for len and apparently whisky who have self-control of steel
I've had a quick look at the new stuff, and I'm quite keen on some of it I have to say. I like the pink/red zebra print on the Alvers dress (is that the greek widow one? - though not in that print presumably - a rather merry, loud greek widow, maybe...) - though I'm not sure what Rayon is like as a summery fabric? And also the shape of the dina button dress (but not for £99
). And the broderie top is cute - but again, £50 for something similar to one that is about £15 in sainsbury's...
I was considering the blue helena shirt for when I come off my no spend Feb - but its now sold out in the blue in my size
- though I'm also having my head turned by both prints of the hortensia, which are rather lovely.... Gahhhh. What did you think of the blue one laska (was that the one you bought?). And ella - did you get the stripey hever trainers in the end? Any good? I'm also tempted by a last flush on the sale, with the petra skirt, on gin's recommendation (like the sound of a skirt that can magically remove half a stone...). But anyway - its still not March so I should stop looking..
