@gubbsywubbsy I am an 8 (rarely go for 10 when I need relaxed fit) and usually buy the size the model wears (8). Since it says relaxed fit means if you are in-between sizes, you can go for the smaller one.

Has anyone bought the printed Amour jumper or any other printed jumper? I wanted to ask about the quality of the printing, is it likely to fall apart when washing and peel away? I find them overpriced but I like the colours so much...

gubbsywubbsy · 16/02/2019 13:14

I've ordered the 10.. I'm a 12 ish but smaller on top and I want it tightish to wear undone but I can always change for smaller or bigger.. love it .. excited for spring !!🤗🤗

gubbsywubbsy · 16/02/2019 13:24

@PinkLipsDontLie forgot to say thank you....
I do think all hush stuff is overpriced but I do still like it 🤷‍♀️

PinkLipsDontLie · 16/02/2019 13:35

@gubbsywubbsy you're welcome and enjoy your new jacket! It has a unique design and that's what I love about most of their stuff.

gubbsywubbsy · 16/02/2019 15:41

Yep .. I fancied a bomber jacket for spring to wear with relaxed jeans and white / navy t shirts and saw this .. I tried to find a cheaper one but couldn't so 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Laska2Meryls · 16/02/2019 17:10

hi Gubbsy and Pink Lips Welcome to the Very Dangerous Thread Grin

gubbsy i love the print on that bomber jacket, and may order the skirt inthe same print later on

cherries how are you today? are you home? .
never 2 days not ordering! I managed three!! Halo but have caved as if you sign up to the saltwater newsletter you get 15% off .. so rose gold and i olive originals ordered - I know that style is ok on me whereas the Sharks were far too narrow and have gone back (they didnt come from saltwater website)

Laska2Meryls · 16/02/2019 17:18

ooh len a holiday (that means of course that you will need new summer clothes) I have never been to Menorca but would like to someday.. We keep going back to Greece.. !! (and again this year for our 13th year!! )

gubbsywubbsy · 16/02/2019 17:28

@Laska2Meryls ... thanks .. I don't get on with skirts very well .. I'm very hourglass and they always either fit on the hips or waist but I love the print and haven't seen anything like it ..( who wants to blend in hey 😂😂)

dontcallmelen · 16/02/2019 17:45

Laska I’m showing off now as have Ibiza in June & Menorca in July.
So will definitely absolutely need some new summer clothes, if I can be good until April, I will then have some money to spend yippee.
I love Greece as well, been to a few of the islands & halkadiki(sp?) just that got a really good deal with the June holiday & Menorca is lovely for little ones, as its very quiet & really family friendly also a very short flight, the gin is really good as well they make it on the island so win win😃

On my wish list is the saltwater sandals so will sign up soon for the discount.
Welcome new posters, the bomber jacket is lovely.

ilovecherries · 16/02/2019 18:25

I’m good to go. Just waiting for pharmacy then can head home. Rough day, lots of fainting going on, reattached to IV for a few hours so determinedto get out before anything else happens!

dontcallmelen · 16/02/2019 18:32

Ooh Cherries sounds a bit of a rough day, safe journey home plenty of rest & hopefully day by day you will be feeling better💐

PinkLipsDontLie · 16/02/2019 18:51

Thank you @Laska2Meryls and @dontcallmelen! I know how unhelpful this thread is... I am a hush addict too, although on a limited budget. I actually just bought the Marlowe leather jacket in grey and it is lovely! And already my cart is filled again, waiting.

I actually live in Greece. I'm glad you both enjoy visiting for holiday💚

FuzzyPuffling · 16/02/2019 19:08

cherries, here's to getting out, going home and getting a bit of relaxation (As much as you can manage). Hope you're ok.

dontcallmelen · 16/02/2019 19:29

Have dgd overnight, just about to bathe her & hopefully she will go to sleep🙏🏻 at least for a few hours, she usually wakes up about 12ish stands up in the cot clutching all her worldly goods & says come in with you now Nana need cuddle.

Laska2Meryls · 16/02/2019 19:54

Ooh PinkLips how lovely , we go to Pelion every year and have been for many years now .. have completely fallen in love with it and know quite a few people here now. ..We have often thought about by buying something over there.. but now because of Fuxit, and all the EU residency uncertainty we will now be buying a motorhome and being Saga louts .

Sorry to hear about the fainting cherries , I'm sure once you are home you will feel better..

Laska2Meryls · 16/02/2019 19:56

Len the good thing with my DGS being 6 is now we have no problems with sleep, but to be fair even when he was tiny and stayed over with us , he was a good sleeper .. its the horribly early mornings that I find difficult..

dontcallmelen · 16/02/2019 20:35

Laska she has never been a great sleeper unfortunately , yy the early mornings are a killer, one of the reasons I usually have her every other weekend so dd & sil can get some sleep.
😂 at saga louts, such a huge shame all this uncertainty, it’s doing my head in as starting to worry a bit now about my medication, as without a couple of them I will be in serious trouble, can’t believe the sheer stupidity of it.

PinkLipsDontLie · 17/02/2019 07:10

@Laska2Meryls it is v nice in Pelion yes, both mountains and sea. I haven't been there in a long time, I should visit.. new road makes it a shorter trip too. I'm sorry stupid brexit is ruining things like this for everyone.

Anyone that can tell me about the quality of the printing on hush printed jumpers?

ilovecherries · 17/02/2019 08:35

pink, I find the printing (and the embroidery) variable. Had a lightning bolt sweat where the paint cracked and peeled in the first wash. They replaced it for me, but I had to take a different colour. This one is 18 months old now, probably washed every week, and looks fine. Similar experience with other jumpers.

Does anyone know when the 10% ends? I feel I might feel well enough to buy myself a little treat quite soon :).

I’m feeling good day, still very weak and quite faint at times but hardly any pain at all, which given the size of the wounds has surprised me. DH slept on sofa last night though as we were both paranoid he’d bump me turning over in bed, and I’m trying to sleep proppped up on my back, so I need a lot of space and pillows. DD going back to Scotland at lunchtime, so he can have her room for a few nights now

EachandEveryone · 17/02/2019 10:03

Yesterday I wore a jumpsuit from Anthropology I must admit I love that shop but can never afford anything but I just thought it was abit different. Weather is gorgeous up North.

***Hushistas SS19 Part 1!!!!!***
dontcallmelen · 17/02/2019 11:00

Each jumpsuit is fab.
Cherries you must be on the mend, if you are thinking of buying something😃 glad you are doing ok, yy definitely have the bed to yourself for a while, have a lovely day & make sure you have plenty of rest.

PinkLipsDontLie · 17/02/2019 13:25

Thank you @ilovecherries, I may skip the jumper for now.

wearenotacodfish · 17/02/2019 14:55

Each I love that jumpsuit.

I'm glad you are feeling tempted by shopping, a sure sign you are on the mend.

I have decided that I am going to do no shopping during lent but I seem to be doing all the shopping now in preparation so I am sort of defeating the purpose.

dontcallmelen · 17/02/2019 17:14

Lol Cod one way off doing it, then you can feel really pious during lent😂

ilovecherries · 18/02/2019 09:35

So this morning, in the interests of research, I put one of my old bras on. On top of my dressings and my surgical bra (which is my new bff and I’m never parted from it) plus a whole lot of swelling and bruising. And I realised the space that 8lbs of breast tissue actually took up. I cannot believe I ever filled that thing. My surgical bra looks like a piece of frippery next to it. I look about three inches taller as well. I’m still very tired, and yesterday I had the three day blues and cried most of the day, but I’ve woken up feeling so happy today. My neck and shoulders already feel less painful without all that bulk hanging from them. While I was terrified beforehand, and it felt stupidly risky to have ‘cosmetic’ surgery on top of all the other essential surgeries I’ve needed, I am so very happy I did it. Worth every penny so far.

Wearing navy leggings from Boden, navy whistles lacy vest top (post-op present from DD who knew I always wanted to wear something like that, but couldn’t) and the aster blue Beatrice jumper from Hush.
