Here we go again, and as always say what you like about the clothes but keep it civil re the wearers of said clothes!

I really like that red dress of Kate’s, maybe she's got her slippers tucked in the presents bag Grin I also like Meghan's pink pom Pom dress....needed flats mind....it's just bonkers but I love it!

itswinetime · 01/02/2019 21:58

On the Kensington Instagram in the stories section [click the profile picture at the top] there are some lovely videos of Harry and Meghan and the kids the one where she goes to get harry at a little boys request is very cute. It's hard to hear but I think the ladies say they are the parents but I might be wrong.

I think they’re both particularly great with kids.

Apparently at the boxing place they went to next, Harry made everyone clear a room so he could speak in private with a 15 year old who’s recently lost his dad and was struggling.

queenofarles · 01/02/2019 22:09

i think MM borrows some of the clothes like Oscar de la Renta Thats why everything she wears doesn't really fit her and she can't have the clothes altered .

From my own experience with Major Brands like Chanel ,Valentino for example they would never let anyone in the public eye wear anything that doesnt fit properly They usually have a team of seamstress flying in with gowns and they would do various fittings and alterations. so that explains why her Givenchy clothes were better fitted as the brand image is so important. French brands PR is very serious business.

Kate has a better understanding on the importance of well fitted tailored clothes ,everything looks effortless and seamless on her, even the high street clothes. MM cares more about the brand she is wearing rather than anything else.

slipslidingaway4 · 01/02/2019 22:26

It's a long time since we saw Kate looking so pissed off with photographers. She clearly draws a line between private and public and is not at all happy to be papped. I wonder why William wasn't there. Perhaps he has flu?!!

Haworthia · 01/02/2019 22:32

She looks furious and rightly so. Perhaps William wasn’t there because they figured she’d get to slip in unnoticed if she went alone?

DesdemonaDryEyes · 01/02/2019 22:32

Paradyning wtf

slipslidingaway4 · 01/02/2019 22:52

In Edinburgh today I saw a limo with police outriders. Does anyone know if any of the RF were there today? Or the PM? It must have been someone important.

slipslidingaway4 · 01/02/2019 22:58

Ah!! I think it was Princess Anne.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 02/02/2019 04:38

Even is Kate’s pre- marriage days, she did not look so annoyed; rather resigned and really tried not to react.
When the press is so controlled at royal engagements, a pap is really intrusive and it was such an unnecessary shot.
I can see once Diana was no longer Royal, it must have been a feeding frenzy.

Going back, who can remember, did Diana lose her police protection once she was stripped of her hrh or did she say she didn’t want it?

user1457017537 · 02/02/2019 04:42

I can’t remember but surely as the mother of the future King who presumably had her children with her on occasion, she would have had some sort of security and royal protection officers accompanying her. Although none were present on the night of her death.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 02/02/2019 04:51

According to this ; Diana refused her protection . She was convinced she was being bugged.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 02/02/2019 05:05

To be fair, the children’s nursery is literally across the road from the Old Vic. It looks like there was a special area just for them, and lots were with their parents Video
Hopefully they weren’t waiting too long.
Not sure who’s idea it was to include the toddlers, but someone had to organise it.

Paradyning · 02/02/2019 06:46

@DesdemonaDryEyes not sure which of my posts you're taking issue with?

TipseyTorvey · 02/02/2019 06:52

Have just flipped through today's newspaper headlines and seen that Meghan was signing bananas to give to sex workers. I'm not sure that was wise really although it came from a good place.

mrscampbellblackreturns · 02/02/2019 07:06

Of course Kate also has a lot of expensive clothes but she didn't appear to spend as much as quickly as Meghan.

Anyway, looking forward to seeing what Kate wears tomorrow night - she generally gives good gown at the BAFTA's.

TipseyTorvey · 02/02/2019 07:06

Sorry just caught up and realised you've done the banana thing already! As you were😊

DontCallMeCharlotte · 02/02/2019 07:23

Interesting review of Dior show - managed to skim past pictures so as not to spoil it for myself!

Paradyning · 02/02/2019 07:50

Thanks Topsey. They are just beautiful clothes.

QueenOfTheAndals · 02/02/2019 07:52

I don't have a problem with the banana thing at all. These are women who are marginalised and really struggling and good on H&M for visiting a charity that helps them. Remember HIV/AIDS was a very unfashionable cause at one point too and Diana did a lot to address the stigma around it.

QueenOfTheAndals · 02/02/2019 07:54

She didn't have to @mrscampbellblackreturns because she could still fit into clothes she already had!

WhitherShallIWander · 02/02/2019 07:56

I’d be pissed off too if I was snapped off duty.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 02/02/2019 07:59

@dontcallmecharlotte

Thanks for that link.
I didn’t realise that the V&A had a whole subterranean gallery built.
It looks absolutely amazing. You definitely won’t be disappointed from what I can see.

mrscampbellblackreturns · 02/02/2019 08:11

But Queen Meghan doesn't have to have so much from Oscar de la Renta and Givenchy does she?

There is a middle ground when it comes to clothes.

mrscampbellblackreturns · 02/02/2019 08:13

Ooops forgive my lack of punctuation.
