I love those Zara dresses Miffy. How exciting about your holiday!! They'll be great for that.

Hope the code does work in the end! Thigh if I do get £20 off it'll have to wait until the end of the month, at least

NotAnActualSheep · 05/02/2019 21:34

Though, not thigh!!!

wearenotacodfish · 05/02/2019 21:38

Laska I ordered red and black but I won't keep both

TheFormidableMrsC · 05/02/2019 21:41

What I have found difficult with this collection is the surf-y blue and green shades, colours that do absolutely nothing for me. I do really like the marine jumper with the rainbow on the front but my God it's so much money! I'd have liked to have seen more khaki shades. I do like the love stack navy tee but again, such a lot for what it is. The plain tees are massively overpriced given you can buy very similar and in good quality fabric from H&M for a fraction (I've got a collection of various shades that have lasted two years). I don't know, just doesn't do it for me at all. I'd like to have seen the wide relaxed top in navy or white and I am always hopeful they'll do a floral Amie jogger at some point or a much darker khaki shade than the ones of a couple of years ago. I also have rather a large collection of knitwear that doesn't get anywhere near enough wear. It's probably just as well as my little pot of money that I have kept to treat myself to a couple of bits for Spring will now have to be spent on my car that failed it's MOT today (3 new bloody tyres and a hazard light switch). It's probably divine intervention! Oh well, there's always the summer stuff to come...!

I've still got my hush friends @Laska.

Red knitted dress from Fat Face. This is a bit disappointing, I love the colour but it’s very thin and not great quality

Last one- Boden knitted dress, not sure about this either - lovely quality but not sure if it’s flattering on me

I think the red dress is a much nicer fit and style soups
Skirts look lovely.

neveradullmoment99 · 05/02/2019 23:04

I agree with ella. Out of the skirts, purple one is the nicest bit both are good. Agree about the boden dress. I think the red one is a better colour and shape on youSmile

justilou1 · 06/02/2019 02:54

Bit late to the party @soy, but the skirt is GORGEOUS!!! I’m going through a leopard phase atm. My 14 y/o DD was rocking my expensive satin skirt on the weekend and I do hope I get it back in one piece, or there will be hell to pay. (She wears it better than I do, damn it!) I am contemplating a handbag as well, to go with my sneakers, sunglasses, acetate jewellery and other doodads.... I might have a problem.

NotAnActualSheep · 06/02/2019 09:27

I'm with the others soups! The red dress is lovely on you. It really shows off your waist, and the colour is gorgeous. But if the quality isn't great, you may not wear it as much as you should? The boden one I don't think is as good, I'm afraid. I've had that issue with "straight" jumper dresses...I'm just not convinced they work for anyone with curves in any direction... Both skirts are lovely, though.

Absolutely no problem having loads of leopard stuff, justilou (my phone always wants to auto-correct you as histology!!)- or, if you have a problem, I have a problem, as do many people here, I think!! I think as long as we don't wear them all together, we're fine...and at the moment, even bordering on the trendy! A bit of leopard looks v chic, I reckon. Grin

Laska2Meryls · 06/02/2019 09:43

I've emailed Hush never about the disappearance of Hush friends so we shall see. They are fairly inconsistent though , I was surprised that this last sale stuff all came with free returns labels.
On the up side I think I have scored a free pair of PJ's !! Looks like they have sent me an extra pair in error..

Laska2Meryls · 06/02/2019 09:44

They are telling me that they haven't..

TheFormidableMrsC · 06/02/2019 09:59

Hush friends is working for me..

justilou1 · 06/02/2019 10:47

@sheep- my microorganisms are under control (unlike my leopard accessories) but thanks!😁 Because I’m small and pretty introverted by nature, I keep them to a minimum as well. Major leopard overload is something I tend to associate with scrawny, bourbon-swilling, female wannabe roadie -types who will never let death metal die. I never even had a perm in the 80’s. (Such a nerd!) I did trawl the online sales looking for inspiration for our winter, but missed out on the best bits. Was rather tempted by the leather leggings, but suspect they’d go mould in our humid summers. God, they’re gorgeous, though. If I still lived in the Netherlands, I would have justified them!

neveradullmoment99 · 06/02/2019 10:56

H skirt from hush. For £22 pretty good😀

Ellapaella · 06/02/2019 11:01

Nice never - I like it, looks great. What a bargain!

SoyYo · 06/02/2019 11:06

@soups I love the red dress on you, the Boden not so much. Skirts are great 👍
Thanks never and justi for liking my latest purchases I’m pleased and think I will get lots of wear. That’s what I liked about the Devore fabric it’s leopard but not so obviously leopard if that makes sense? Hmm
Although I do have last SS Hush leopard maxi and plan to wear that lots come the better weather.
I also have a leopard fur coat which I think was a bit of a mistake...it’s a bit “too much” and I think in RL I’m always a bit worried It’s ageing...oh well must pluck up the courage to air it more often.

On the new Hush collection I’m with MrsC nothing really grabs me as a “must have now” and the only thing I really like (with a generous discount) atm is the silk shirt which came out as part of the new collection. Agree with never on some lovely tops but not at that price! Jumpers either too bulky, too samey to previous seasons but I’m sure they’ll grow on me.
The cactus T that laska ordered is lovely and unusual, and we all love the Santana skirts so I think they’re good value (I even did gardening in mine in last summers heat! Much cooler than shorts). I also love my Jamie T shirt dress from last SS and see they have a washed black version which I’d consider if vastly reduced.

neveradullmoment99 · 06/02/2019 11:06

Thanks. I quite like the quirkiness of the print on the skirt but wouldn't have worn the dress. Its a nice shape. Its shaped at the bottom and its pleated. I think it is a bargain.

neveradullmoment99 · 06/02/2019 11:07

Sorry cross post with @soyo!

SoyYo · 06/02/2019 11:08

Wow @never I like it! Totally worth the £ is it pleated too?

SoyYo · 06/02/2019 11:09

I see now and you confirmed it is. Well spotted @never it’s lovely!

neveradullmoment99 · 06/02/2019 11:09

It is. I tried it and returned it at full price because it was a choice between it and something else. It is a really good bargain and I also had the extra 10% off.
