Hello all - realised I've been totally neglecting this thread as it has taken me half an hour to read from where I last posted AND I'M SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING....
Have to say, I'm with theformidablemrsc - there isn't anything really that I think I neeeeed which is probably just as well. I think I just have this problem with spring/ summer stuff - not just hush...I just can't picture ever getting out of jumpers enough to wear it. I do quite like the cropped jumpsuit with the tigers on, and I may try a santana skirt (missed out last year, as I didn't really discover hush til the summer sale)
- but I'm not 100% sure I'm feeling the love for a polyester skirt... And the stripey wide top - but, hey - it's a striped top (and can't say I'm too impressed with how the other ones have washed).
Has mystic-laska got any predictions what will be in the next drop at the end of the month?!
However, I'm really not in any kind of clothes emergency (unless you count potentially needing to get a new wardrobe) even for summer clothes so I'm not panicking yet. I have had a bit of a splurge in the last dregs of toast's sale, and got a couple of summery trousers, a t-shirt and 2 dresses (one looks a bit like I'm auditioning for a role as a monk, but, bizarrely, in a good way with a belt tied round it
). And the gorgeous, gorgeous green cords, which fit really well in the next size down, so they are staying too. So as I'm basically going to keep it all, I am not spending anything else
(and I bought them in January - so my not-buying-anything-new-in-February is going well so far...5 days in)
Glad you have some sale bargains that make you happy too soy!
Yay to gin trying the boyfriend turn ups. Thought I'd made some kind of faux pas with them. I think they are perfectly decent jeans, and for £18 (I paid the princely sum of £20) you can't go wrong, as long as you (IMO) get rid of the turn ups! I have to say, I also considered the petra skirt - I do have a bit of a thing for that shape of skirt - but I resisted. I'm keeping the hidden star jumper too
. It's just too fluffy to send back and Im wearing it now, so i can't really send it back.
I'm liking the chester trainers, though i think cherries may have spotted why they haven't been selling so well (and also never said that hers were doing that too??) If they were the sale price to begin with, fair enough - but £££ trainers shouldn't look like that..! Boooo. They do look nice though.
for all of you having a hard time at the moment - especially cherries, len and soy. And good luck to soups DD - sounds like she is doing a lot better - and having the fortnight "trial" sounds like a good plan. YY to only doing one A level and the dance if that is all she can manage.
