Looks like the waist has been chopped so that is empire line, and the slit sewn up. Great adaptation of an inexpensive dress to make a really stylish maternity dress.
The colours were fab. She has taken a leaf from HMs book and can now be seen from afar.
Agreed, she looks great in black & navy; but when there are big crowds, she needs to wear colour.

Hooray for seamstresses getting their mitts on Meghan's clothes! I thought she looked gorgeous today - what a beauty she is in such vibrant colours. The shoes really made me grin, but I agree with you all, the bag did not go in that colour. The coat was a little bulky too, but the colour meant she shone - and Harry looked suitably adoring!

I love the purple and red together, great combination.

I also thought M looked tanned, the Fail will be apoplectic if H&M slipped away to a sunny spot and they weren’t invited to see if the location was chosen specifically to spite the DoC.

I do like that she carries actual handbags in the daytime rather than the tiny clutches favored by some other royals. I love handbags; that's my favorite aspect of people watching.

MM is definitely sporting more freckles. I thought they'd gone to see her mum so maybe grabbed some sunshine at the same time.

They may have had another holiday on the Italian lakes with George and Amal!!

I thought of Meghan at the weekend when DD was completing her model castle for her History project. DD was painting a cardboard base to resemble grass using Meghan green coloured paint (well should be renamed Meghan Green)

I'm another one questioning DoS's bag choice today. Odd shape and colour. But as a PP said, that shade of red looks great on her.

My money's on a due date in early March, but of course we'll find out in due course.

Now, I don't actually have much in the way of style but even I wouldn't have chosen that colour bag, though I do like the style.

I also reckon she's due early March. It's not so much the size of her bump but the height.

I'm usually an admirer of Meghan's outfits, but I really didn't like what she wore today. It's just not quite right, a little too garish and a bit cheap. However, and against opinion, I love the bag.

Love the red coat and shoes.

Someone we haven’t seen for a while. Queen Rania, visiting a children’s museum. Looks like the Botox / fillers may be wearing off a bit; thank goodness.

Just to say I like the bag.I think black would have looked horrid. To me it works with the colours, opposite of purple, in harmony with red.

Another thumbs up here for today's outfit! I thought she looked fabulous. And I thought the bag was great but am on the fence about whether it went with the outfit... but I haven't a clue what colour bag I would have chosen 😄

If she's 6 months ish she's probably starting to feel Braxton Hicks, especially when she gets up from sitting or starts moving about, hence the bump holding.

I think the red and purple together was just a bit much. One or the other but not both together as others have said. I am just gobsmacked that the belly clutching is still going on in nearly every photograph. Does she not realise how silly she looks? A grown woman clutching her bump literally all the time on a public engagement? I know I will get shot down but I have to say it...

I’d like her to let go of the bump. So I can see the dresses. Something about the way she holds the bump looks like she need a wee. Maybe she does.

Hi all, the last thread ended so suddenly, I had a wee panic!

I like the purple and red combo, lovely colours that she can carry off. Not keen on the shoes and bag though.

According to Hello the reason H&M missed Kate’s birthday celebrations is because they were on holiday.

I held my PFB bump all the time. It’s a comfort thing. At least she doesn’t stroke it like I did! 👶

I think a red bag would have worked today.

We visited the Museum of Childhood recently and I spotted this which I thought I would share with all of you. It’s a souvenir of Chatles and Di’s wedding an artist did for Heals Dept store. Can’t get over how miserable they both look!
