@user1457017537 I wonder if it's a boiler with an income - ie RHI quarterly payment for every KW of heat produced. Ours was 18k but it comes with tax free payments for 20 years

@user1457017537 its not just a boiler it will produce all the electricity for Frogmore cottage. I wouldn't be surprised if it generates an income too

Gosh, lots of engagements for the duchesses next week. In addition to Kate's visits to the ROH and King Henry's Walk, Meghan is going to The Mayhew on Wednesday and she and Harry are in Birkenhead on Monday. I'd better start thinking of a title for our next thread!

I’m going to get one of those biomass stoves for my kitchen. ( they're called something different in France).
I can assure you they’re not £50k.
Possiblity that they’re not on town gas, as they are some distance from Windsor. However, they’ll probably need a a separate out building built to house it and a massive boiler to do their heating and hot water. Hence the eye watering cost.

Just wondering where they are going to house their ppos. Once there is room for the baby and the nanny; it’s only a 5 bedroom house.

Most of it is classified, but they are having 2 orangery extensions, and a studio in the garden with a bedroom upstairs. That must be for the police

at the number of dogs James has! The reference to Meghan becoming patron of the dog and cat charity made me wonder about royal cats (self confessed cat lady) - the royal dogs get good coverage but we never hear of any royal cats

I personally don't really like bodycon maternity wear but Megan's dress today was so much better than her previous mis-fitting attempts, I could warm to it and it's very her. (I could never have imagined Kate in anything like that.)
