Oh, Florence may not fit me then, I ordered a 12. Well, not fitting makes it an easy decision to send back, I guess!

SoyYo · 03/01/2019 17:52

@cherries I think it will fit you as you’ve carried on losing lots of weight and have been super good.
The 12 on me was a bit snug at the waist as it’s a zip style like the zebra but I could do it up just didn’t want to feel constrained by the tight waist.
I’m tempted to order but reckon even the 14 will be tight on me now Sad

SoyYo · 03/01/2019 17:54

@never thank you for ordering the leather skirt, it does look fabulous obviously hoping you’ll hate enough to return but I can live precariously through your purchase Grin

SoyYo · 03/01/2019 17:58

Meaning for your wallets’ sake not because I want you to hate it, it does look annoyingly marvellous online but it is ££

dontcallmelen · 03/01/2019 17:58

Soy was just about to say the same thing, I was tempted when I saw it earlier, the only thing I have bought today is a box of crackers from sainsburys for a £1.00

zippyswife · 03/01/2019 18:08

Hmm from what you’re saying @soy @ella I should have maybe ordered the 14 then. Or maybe it’ll be an incentive to lose my Christmas (and pre-Christmas and last Christmas..) weight.

neveradullmoment99 · 03/01/2019 19:12

Honestly @soyo, I don't really know why I ordered it. Its undoubtedly going to be far too short. I have just wanted to scratch the itch for a while. I returned most of my 20% off purchases but don't 'need' anything and really only ordered it to try on.

SoyYo · 03/01/2019 19:23

@never well I’m glad you did, it does look fab! I think we’re all suffering from a bit of cabin fever tbh you can only be outdoors for shortish periods this time of year AND there’s a Hush sale on. Captive audience really so if you hadn’t I probably would have done just to “see” Wink

neveradullmoment99 · 03/01/2019 19:23

@Laska, annoyingly they have reduced the red fairisle jumper from Toast by £15. Ah well... @Laska, you could re- order it. Its £15 less. I have worn mine although I suppose I could order it and swap it IYKWIM but It means waiting for another refund. Its not worth it tbh.

Isnt this gorgeous @Laska. Its a beautiful colour. Its part of Toasts new collection so £££ and already looks it will sell out. It so wouldn't suit me.

neveradullmoment99 · 03/01/2019 19:24

I wish they did it in another colour. Or I don't really otherwise I would want to buy it!!

neveradullmoment99 · 03/01/2019 19:26

Oh, they do it in burgundy and grey but after my spends no way!!! It has a lovely shape.
@soyo, will post pictures when it arrives and if its not indecent lol..

neveradullmoment99 · 03/01/2019 19:36

Ignore all the stars...think I must be coming down with sale fever...who knows what I was doing!!

NotAnActualSheep · 03/01/2019 19:57

Oooh, yes, another one glad you've ordered the skirt, never. It does look a lovely colour.

And also thanks for the heads up on the further toast reductions... I'll reorder that blue/green jumper if I like it. Actually, there are a couple of lovely stripey tops that I've been drooling over for a bit that are also further reduced, so I may just reorder anyway and bung those in. Do you have to pay for returns as well as delivery with toast? I think if you cancel the order, they refund the original postage, but presumably you still have to pay to get it back to them?

That swing cardigan is beautiful...but no more knitwear for me until about 2022.

Laska2Meryls · 03/01/2019 19:58

problem is *never is that you'd have to pay for return postage anyway nthe Toast jumper and pay the new postage.. not worth it IMO.. mine has dispatched, but quite honestly I cant keep everything, so shall see what it is all like..

Re leather leggings: , its a bit of a mad punt anyway. I thought if i didnt i'd regret not trying them when they were 'cheap' ( hahahaha)

TBH I am a bit of a porker again right now, (and I dont believe in buying things to slim into ) also I often find that skinnies can be tight on the knees , (and also often find sleeves too long ) I dont think I have big knees (or short arms) either .

Ella yes I have the Stevie jeans , really like them on me.. but see above re knees , my thighs and calves are not that skinny either . (I have Shapely legs DH says Hmm)

Laska2Meryls · 03/01/2019 20:16

Toast Cardi is beautiful .. I already bought a JL cashmere one in the same colour a few weeks ago though

The Hushistas wait for Spring
Laska2Meryls · 03/01/2019 20:16

..perhaps not so stylish but classic and sooooo soft!

Laska2Meryls · 03/01/2019 20:20

I also ordered the Oslo skirt earlier..remembered how much I loved and wore the short black frayed hem skirt in a similar style last summer.. ( and I Will be a leaner pig again then)

neveradullmoment99 · 03/01/2019 20:45

Thats another beautiful cardigan @laska. I love the colour but it really doesnt love me. I can only wear it on my bottom half. Had my eye on the Toast cords in the ochre colour but they arent in the sale and the reviews say they are very long.
I feel porkier myself. One good thing about going back to work on Monday as i will start my fasting. I have had zero will power this month. The Oslo skirt is very pretty. I love the print.

Huffthepuff · 03/01/2019 20:59

Loving hearing about all your sale purchases! There were a few bits I was very tempted by but I really can't afford anything more after the sale shopping I've already done 🙈 I'm back at work now and DS's nursery fees were due today so I have to be good.
In the spirit of shopping our wardrobes, today I wore my Emmanuel dress with a black merino sweater from M&S, thermal footless tights and my Daniel boots. Other Stories wool coat also. Much as I didn't want to return to work post mat leave I'm enjoying having a lovely wardrobe to use that won't get covered in dribble and banana!

This silver grey jumper arrived from Boden yesterday which I ordered with the extra 20% off last week. I bought it in a medium for a looser fit with a mind to wear a white shirt under it (for work) or denim shirt (for weekends). It's gorgeous. It was a quick try on and not styled it yet but I think it'll be a keeper.

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 03/01/2019 21:09

I resisted the urge again today. Possibly as a result of my credit card bill - I buy lots of presents on behalf of people and get reimbursed so it looks worse than it is. Plus I am santa and was doing Christmas this year which bumps things even higher. But it topped £2k and I just can’t justify anything.

Helps there is nothing calling me over loudly. I fancy the wide leg trousers and Florence skirt if they have them in my size when the discounts increase. But really don’t need them. Only thing I feel I need is wide leg trousers at the mo.

I’m on a two week holiday from 19/4 plus away for four days in May plus summer holiday. Think I need to consider summer clothes...

Laska2Meryls · 03/01/2019 21:18

I tried this red Monsoon jumper on yesterday, (didnt buy it as wasn't sure as they only had the L in our local store and i also wasnt sure about the neck on me but see its reduced today .its lovely and soft

Laska2Meryls · 03/01/2019 21:19

..am not ordering it though .. I have enough on order

SoyYo · 03/01/2019 21:26

Just popped in to give @Huff moral support. I know how hard it is to go back after mat leave and leave our babies in day care no matter how wonderful they are it’s always a bit of a heart wrencher...plus the fees!
I do remember having 2 under 4 and the fees ate half of my salary.
On the positive side my boys grew up with an independent mother, had lots of lovely experiences with very caring childminders and nurseries, became very confident at a young age and starting school was a breeze. It was me that I reckon suffered more than them!
If it hadn’t been for that I wouldn’t have been able to have the career and interesting jobs I’ve had either or to be able to treat myself guilt free so it’s all very much worth it in the end and I’m so glad to read you’ve had a good day back.
Your outfit sounds perfect and the Boden jumper is really lovely.
Don’t worry if you have a wobble in the weeks to come it is all perfectly normal and we are here to help if that happens.
Try take it slow at first till you establish a new routine with your little one.
Happy return to work! To me the adult world of work always provided welcome variety and grey matter stimulation and I reckon I became a better parent for it.

SoyYo · 03/01/2019 21:32

@laska love the colours of both the mustard and red jumpers! I tend to go for black (in case you hadn’t noticed Grin) but do have some lovely colourful cardies in my wardrobe so will try “shop” them into my everyday outfits more often.
I feel like I need lots of sunshine at the mo and since the weather will not deliver I need to find a way to do it with some of my stuff lying unworn in my drawers

SoyYo · 03/01/2019 21:36
