Ooh, new thread for the new year!

I like the look of that Apollo blouse too, Soy but I also worry about the large norkage issue. Unless it was half-tucked in at the front...

My Hush order (Domino dress, moon/star necklace and matt black tights) is waiting to be collected but I won't go out again this evening; my nearest parcel motel has moved from 150 metres down the road to a 5-minute car journey away. Pain in the neck.

I like the idea of shopping my wardrobe. I have lots of lovely pleated midi skirts and lots of new jumpers (!) so they need a good outing.

My plantar fascitis has been acting up since Christmas, was back at the Physio today and got a rather fetching support boot to wear at night Hmm but it also means I am limited to wearing my runners with orthotic inserts. Am off work till Monday so hopefully I can wear other shoes and boots again by then.

Out of interest, has anyone else got a £20 referral code? I used one given to me by Laska in my last order but I can't seem to use it again (even with a different email address).

Hello all, I very much like the idea of shopping your wardrobe, I have far too many things I never wear and always seem to reach for the same things. Sounds like an excellent challenge!

I've just sent you a PM with a code, Miffy. Hopefully that one will work...

Ooh a new thread and mention of spring already that’s very pleasing.

Ella gorgeous jacket !

Twosoups I love all of your scarves but for me the stripe would be the keeper I think - I looks versatile and there are a lot of stars around at the moment ( though I may be influenced by my own star overkill !)
If it was a star 🌟 I think the navy is striking.

No more purchases from me but am sale twitching - I have things in both a Baukjen and a me and em basket but am holding back at the moment - let’s see how long that lasts !

Oh no and my new toast acquisition!!!! Had it on today!! It was minus 1 today. Bitterly cold but beautiful. I love cold dry days.

Actually a good buy is the khaki star shirt. Its utterly fabulous. You may want to size down in it if you like it fitted. For me, its the most comfy shirt I own. Sadly have an oil stain on it that I need to sort but I had it on today and its just utterly the best shirt I own. It has lovely frayed stars on it and lovely frayed hem.

Miffy I think Ive been banned from Mention Me..I changed my email address and then tried to use a code I'd been sent to my old address. Apparently Hush said I'd referred my self..so maybe any I sent out are now also banned.. Hmm so watch out using different emails.

Jumpers: Well I bought 2meryls!!!! 2 JL chunky cashmere, (all worn loads ) a red crew Hush jumper ( not worn yet Blush) , 3 tunic jumpers from Joules(also worn lots) .. 2 fine cashmere from BA. and a Black cashmere crew from Boden which has just arrived after being oos/back order since I ordered it at a really cheap price in their Autumn sale. And a mustard cashmere cardi from JL . ( As well as this, I got another JL orange cashmere cardi and a Celt and co jumper dress for Christmas ..but they dont count? ) .

Toast jumper on order though..

My credit card came to day , and I have nothing on it !! And Hush sale is starting

Hello, I hope you don’t mind me popping in. I am really desperate for the Hush green leather skirt, but it is so expensive. Does anyone have a clue if it’s likely to come down in the sale, or is the current 20% as good as it’s likely to get? I have a Jigsaw one I wear all the time in black, so I know it’s a good investment that will be worth it in terms of cost per wear, it’s just such a big outlay. (The Jigsaw one was much cheaper!)

neveradullmoment99 · 02/01/2019 21:00

Its really expensive. Its very hard to tell. I reckon if last years summer sale is anything to go by, the black leather mini did come down in price. It may not come down in price right away but it may as time goes on. I don't think they are doing the 20% off atm anway. I think it ended last night?

Report
Laska2Meryls · 02/01/2019 21:01

Hi Judy I the 20%has finished now. sale starts tomorrow

Report
neveradullmoment99 · 02/01/2019 21:02

The black leather mini was down in price but the green one remained at the same price. I had considered it because it was slightly longer than the black. It may come down in price now as it has gone through 2 seasons.

Report
neveradullmoment99 · 02/01/2019 21:04

Actually the black leather mini I had ordered was a great shape but it just felt too short despite me sizing up to a 14 [ in a vain attempt it would sit lower] It did sit lower but the hip area was a bit big but it was still rather short and it was too much of an expensive mistake to take the chance I wouldn't wear it, so I returned it.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 02/01/2019 21:05

Ach, bum, I thought the sale started tomorrow and the 20% finished today! I must have read the email wrong. I’ll hang fire and see, I think I can’t justify the full price, when it’s more expensive than places like Whistles and Jigsaw for similar things.

Thank you for replying, and also confirming my thoughts about the cost.

Report
NotAnActualSheep · 02/01/2019 21:05

Oooh. I went to look at the skirt, and typed "leather skirt" into the search, and saw one I didn't recognise...and they seem to have a secret "sale" section on the website here. Not sale prices yet, though.

Oh dear, I forgot about my Joules jumper and the starry one from Debenhams. I did take the JL ones back though.

@neveradullmoment99 put some fairly liquid on the oily stain before washing . It will remove it .

Oh I’ve just had an order!

The longer Devora skirt is gorgeous, absolutely beautiful but I’m not sure what to wear it with. The top pictured is out of budget and I was hoping to wear it for work so a bit dressy. The skirt is lovely but I need to find stuff to team it with that is office smart but not night out dressy.

The second skirt I’m not sure on. It’s nice enough but expensive for what it is. I’m not sure it’s suited as work wear for an early 40s professional (in a semi-casual office). It’s longer on me than the model I’m 5”3 but doesn’t work with knitwear.

My third purchase were some Amie joggers which are a keeper!
