Just seen there is a branch of Toast quite near me, I might go and have a look.

First phase of journey complete as we are now in Scotland for an overnight at home to drop dog off/go to dentist/get dogs medication review at vet/have my legs waxed and nails done (latter appoint being most important one)

However, another 10 appeared in burgundy leggings last night and as I’ve had a few refunds trickling through now, I sent for them to be delivered at home. Now my dilemma is: keep the black or the burgundy? I was sure it was the burgundy I really wanted, but now I’ve looked at black for a couple of days, I wonder if they are more versatile. However, worried the black looks as if I’m looking for my motorbike. Which would be fine if that was my style, but it’s not really. No point in taking photos, in the crappy light they both look the same. So - if you really wanted leather leggings, and could only have one pair, which would it be? They both look gorgeous. (And I know, if there was ever a first world problem, this is it!).

I only wanted the burgundy ones .. Black is nice but I kind of feel the burgundy is somehow more 'me' ..

I bought just one pair of M&S VPL shorts! (in horrid beige, want to see what they are like ).

I took back my H&M order and the bag and sent back the boden cashmere (although that was a bit of a struggle as it was such a bargain , but I reminded myself that I do have a black Boden V neck cashmere I dont wear much because i forget i have it and a black cashmere cardi also .. )..

All I have left now is the hush pyjamas which I forgot to take with me and I am waiting for the JL Hush replacements

how about you keep both? Yes its expensive, but I think you deserve them Like you said size 24 you would have never dreamed you would one day be mulling between 2 pair of size 10 leather leggings..

cherries depends on your budget, if you can afford both and think you'll wear both, them keep both. But if it's too extravagant, I would go for the burgundy because you liked those best originally. And I think burgundy is still a versatile colour.

I've just ordered the Spanx faux leather leggings to try. Refused to pay £5 delivery from Selfridges but found them with free delivery from Luxury Legs. I was going to order both black and burgundy but the burgundy is OOS in my size unfortunately. I'll see how I get on with the black ones.

Had a credit card problem today - it had been declined about 3 or 4 times since yesterday, both online and in shops. Spoke to my credit card company today and found out someone has been trying to use my card details to use Apple Pay Glad they got caught so quickly. My card is cancelled and a new one on its way. Just annoying though - I know my number, expiry and security code off by heart, the new one will have a new number!

Hello Hush Friends! Sitting in Eurostar from Paris to London.
Very busy work week so no chance to even look at the thread till now. Planning to catch up (if I get sufficient data coverage) during the journey, as I have another rail journey when I get to St Pancras and won’t be home before 9.30 tonight.

Just wanted to say I’ve totally Hushed it this week. It’s very cold in Paris, decided on velvet puffa and glad I did! Super cozy.
The Black boatneck cashmere, check trousers and tiger scarf also got their first outings.
Mixed and matched with other old favourites so tres chic but also super comfortable.
Chat later/at the weekend (I’ve probably missed lots of new sale offers and bargains but can’t be helped) 👋👋👋

Two Soups I got mine from Luxury legs , but sent back the burgundy ones in M so look out (they only went back yesterday).. I promise I only tried them on quickly!

Yes credit card , that's what happened to me also jut before Christmas , but mine was flights..the refunded me though..

DH loves the burgundy leather leggings, so they are officially mine, have cut the label off (but they were mine anyway , I paid the bill yesterday!). The M&S no VPL knicks really work btw. I will have to get some more now

Cherries I would go for the burgundy leggings if having to choose having seen Laska's, burgundy is very versatile, goes with pink, grey, cream, Metallics - all sorts.
Huff love the cosy Toast coatigan and Fudge I love the red jacket.

I have a question for any of you that have your hair highlighted - do you use a silver/purple shampoo to tone it down? I'm having my hair done tomorrow and I've found the last few times it's been done it goes quite brassy after a couple of weeks despite having a toner on. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Yes I do Ella the one I have is Lee Stafford Bleach Blonde Shampoo which I get from Boots . hairdresser recommend..

But I also use Bleach London products which I find are good also .. Currently as my hair is pink I use Bleach London Rose shampoo and conditioner

Oh heck, Now Ive outed myself as really, REALLY weird. I wouldn't normally do that , but It was only because Luxury Legs had such stern warnings on their returns slip about sending stuff back in total utter pristine condition or no refund.. and I'd tried them on , see..and they were £80 , I promise I am not minging, really I'm not , but didn't want for them to find any excuse to not refund..
