I’m having visions of the leggings being sucked up the dyson crotch-first, while Laska tries desperately to pull them out...

I’m bing drawn towards the burgundy ones. I know black is classic but the burgundy has been calling me since last Christmas

I would go with the black leggings personally as they will go with everything. I think black are a classic. Saying that, I would look at your wardrobe and see what fits best. Its all about what matches. I love the black ones as there is nothing they wont go with. I wouldn't say no to a pair of burgundy ones but they are so expensive although a bit of a bargain in the sale.

dontcallmelen · 11/01/2019 19:43

Cherries have a lovely time yy the burgundy trousers they are a fab colour.
Soy glad you are on way back home, sounds like you have had a very busy week.
Fudge love love the jacket, boo hiss to Dh.
Huff love the coatigan, much bettter than the zara one.
Porpoise sorry bout the fuggly boots, my they are soooo comfortable though.
Laska I have no words for the hoovering😂 but I did hoover the all lampshades this week & thought I need to get out more.
Soups love the jacket & brilliant colour, glad dd feeling a bit brighter.
Ella yy the shampoo Laska recommended, also if you want something a bit cheaper use in between the provoke shampoo & conditioner is very good.

neveradullmoment99 · 11/01/2019 19:45

Its not weird at all. I think it is very nice of you to have such great respect for your returns @Laska2meryls

dontcallmelen · 11/01/2019 19:45

Fuzzy the sea salt dress is lovely.

neveradullmoment99 · 11/01/2019 19:46

Not been on much as I have ds and his wife and baby staying with us atm so it is very very busy!!

dontcallmelen · 11/01/2019 19:48

Well day 10 of no spend, it’s very boring being this virtuous😢

dontcallmelen · 11/01/2019 19:49

Aww Never hows it going hope you are getting plenty of cuddles.

neveradullmoment99 · 11/01/2019 19:49

He is absolutely gorgeous. He is only 10 months. My other children are so loving having him here :)

neveradullmoment99 · 11/01/2019 19:50

Well done @Melen. I should take example from both my son and my daughter in law. They are so careful with money it almost makes me feel obscene buying things seriously!!!!

neveradullmoment99 · 11/01/2019 19:52

They buy loads of things second hand. She spends nothing on herself.

neveradullmoment99 · 11/01/2019 19:52

And she always looks amazing [green]

neveradullmoment99 · 11/01/2019 19:52

that should have been Envy

dontcallmelen · 11/01/2019 19:54

Oh lord, I’m only being good as I need to get to grips with my finances & be a bit more grown up, I’m such a spendthrift it’s burns a hole in my pocket😱

dontcallmelen · 11/01/2019 19:57

Don’t you just wonder at people like that, my attitude to money is shocking, aww ten months still all squidgy & cuddly, must be lovely for your younger ones to be able to spend some time with them.

Villanelley · 11/01/2019 19:59

Evening Hushettes,

May I pick your collective brains for a mo? I'm after the Britt Parker, in the navy...only the khaki is in the sale. Typical. Do you reckon they'll stick the navy in the sale at any point, or shall I just bite the bullet now?

£179 is a huuuuge amount for a dog walking coat! Shock

wearenotacodfish · 11/01/2019 20:02

@Villanelley if it's for dog walking would it matter if you got the green? My dog walking boots are hideous but they are muck boots that were £30 in the sale

Villanelley · 11/01/2019 20:06

@wearenotacodfish technically no the colour doesn't matter but I've already got a khaki Didrikson (highly recommend btw, v v warm) so was after something a little different.

neveradullmoment99 · 11/01/2019 20:08

Sometimes they just don't put things in the sale so I kind of doubt it at this stage. I remember one of the jumper dresses was on sale in green and waited for the camel and it was never reduced last year. It took until the next season to reduce it. Would you not consider the khaki one? I personally think its nicer and most people suit it as its fairly neutral.
@Melen, I am in awe of it. I am awful too. Any spare cash and I just want to spend it.

neveradullmoment99 · 11/01/2019 20:12

Ah, just seen your post @villanelley. It is an expensive purchase at full price. It has no waterproof quality. It has a cotton outer,

Villanelley · 11/01/2019 20:16

@neveradullmoment99, thank you for talking me down. I'm easily swayed, in both directions, haha!

neveradullmoment99 · 11/01/2019 20:21

Well it might be warm but its a lot of money for a coat that wont protect you from the wet when you are walking the dog. But if really you love it, then that's a different story :)

Ellapaella · 11/01/2019 20:24

@Villanelley I had the Britt Parka but sent it back as I found the hood was obscenely huge! Think Liam Gallagher... also it was a bit shapeless on me as the pull cord thing in the waist was inside the coat so you could really pull it in very well at the waist. I think there are nicer parkas out there to be honest.

Ellapaella · 11/01/2019 20:24
