I’m going to try and make a more consistent effort
Also have a good wardrobe clear out

Bidded on a nail gel kit. Love getting them done but can't afford to on the regular so thought I'd invest and save money long term. Anyone used any hair supplements? Mines really thinned since having kids. Bought the Sainsbury's own hair skin and nails vitamins today and some biotin shampoo.

You lot are inspiring!!! I’m newish to mumsnet and this thread is right up my street!!!

I found (thanks to mn), Philip Kingsley elAstiser! Omg, life changing!!!!!

Also had teeth whitened this week, not huge difference, but every little thing counts right?!

Will take water bottle to work today, remind me to drink more!

Hi all and welcome to our newbie.

I've not been well so the skincare has been sporadic. I also need to order some more as I have been determined to use up what I have.

I had my eyebrows threaded and omg I looked so much better. I had a fancy board meeting so made an effort and felt quite good. Nowhere where I want to be but my confidence is on the up and I wore something that made me look better than I feel about myself so was really bolstered by that.

My aims for this week are to get back on the full skincare regime and do a footner treatment. I still need to book my hair in as well.

The diet is coming along too and my leggings were wrinkling at the ankles yesterday. Can't wait to chuck them and get back into my jeans.

Hope all are keeping well and keeping up! It's not easy and it's hard to tackle lots of areas at once but once the improvements kick in, it inspires you to do more xx

@Moominfan I have heard that biotin shampoo is really good x

Hi everyone 🤗 I haven't done much exercise over the last 2 weeks and been eating badly too- winter blues I think. Had a microdermabrasion facial last night and a sports massage few days ago. Feeling refreshed now. Have been mixing a small bit of fake tan with my body and face moisturiser which has given me a glow and a bit of a lift

Belen but been outbid fed. Managed to buy 12 gel polishes for 10quid so just need to keep an eye out for rest of stuff now. Is it easy enough to grasp?

I bought some Revolution Intense Skin Exfoliator (30% AHA+BHA Peeling solution)

I haven't tried any of these peels except the M&S Radience Peel mask.

So some intensive skin caring going on today (Cleanse, Exfoliator, Rinse, M&S Sleep Cream)

Good suggestion about shrinking jeans in the wash, I never thought of that. Bought a pair of Guess jeans in the sale that were a total bargain but the waist /tummy area is too big so I'll stick them in on a hot wash.

I've been quite ruthless and given 3 big bags of clothes away. Which is great, but been shopping lots so wardrobes are the stuffed again.. 🤔

I keep reminding myself to eat healthy as summer bodies are made in the winter! Need to lose around 5lbs - almost at goal weight but still some chub on my tum and inner thighs.

Ok so been using biotin in a short space of time my hair has grown longer. However my thinning hairline hasn't changed maybe after some
More time I might see change

Hi how is everyone doing?

Since I last posted I have:
Been to the chiropodist very x6 weeks and rubbing in foot cream every night before bed. I've been doing the odd foot spa too.
Flossing every single night
Sticking to one cup of coffee each day
Drinking 2l of water each day

I also splashed out on some new underwear in January, my bras were a disgrace.

I'm trying out different skincare at the moment too. I tried some Avon cleanser and moisturizer, but not suited to me. I've tried lush and like one of their cleansers, going to try another moisturizer. I'm also trying the pixi range, not 100% sold on it though.

Hello I've upped my make up routine. Threw out a ten year old pallet. I now wear eyeliner and eyeshadow to work everyday. Still going with biotin which is great for length but no change for bald patches sadly

Lardlizard · 06/12/2019 06:47

Just wondering how you are all doing ? As we get towards the end of 2019 I’d say I was smarter in 2019 than 2018
Planning on getting a bit healthier too in 2020 been making more effort with clothes and hair n make up
I can still swing from ott glam to scruffy
So still trying to be more consistant

Replaced all underwear this year
Bit expensive in one hit but glad I did it

Going for a Charlotte tilbury makeover next
