That's a great bargain!

There wasn't much in the 4160 sale tbh.

MrsLucas · 28/01/2019 18:27

Blimey, 4160Ts are taking blind buying to the next level! Anyone seen a more detailed description of the perfumes (am I missing something?)?

Destiel · 28/01/2019 18:27

Yeah...it's a bit...basic

UnnecessaryFennel · 28/01/2019 18:28

Bit disappointed in the 4160s sale. What is Lightning Ridge like, anyone know?

I suppose that 100ml bottles of CVC for £20 was too much to hope for, wasn't it?

Lotsofpots · 28/01/2019 18:29

Oh blimey, you lot are on about cats again.

SOTD was 4160 sexiest scent. This really does make me happy.
But think I may go to PP fireside after my bath as I'm inspired by all the love it's getting here (I'm catching up from Friday).

Lotsofpots · 28/01/2019 18:32

Also disappointed by the sale - particularly as I didn't make the most of the 3 for 2 as I was broke. Might spend up on samples online instead.

UnnecessaryFennel · 28/01/2019 18:35

OK have googled Lightning Ridge and apparently it was made for jewellery Gill Wing. The notes are:

Top Rum

Heart Stone accord, Boronia, Rose, Incense, Orris

Base Vetiver, Vanilla, Nagarmotha/cypriol, Amber, Patchouli, Musk

Actually quite tempting...

cantbelievemyeyes · 28/01/2019 18:42

Ah yes, I remember the cost of cat dental work Judy, ouch. Mine had almost all hers out at 17, cost about £400. But oh god, her stomach's reaction to the Metacam was...explosive Grin

Trying to decide whether to pay full price for some Over the Chocolate Shop. Gutted I didn't do the 3 for 2 now.

UnnecessaryFennel · 28/01/2019 18:44

*Jeweller not jewellery.

I went for it Blush. It's 50ml of something interesting for the price of a Friday night takeaway. So much for no blind buys in 2019!

Destiel · 28/01/2019 19:17

Sote mmm by the fireplace (again).

It's just so perfect for this weather.

FloofyCat · 28/01/2019 19:25

Right you lot which of you snapped up the 100ml sleep knot in the sale which I had added to my basket but it went before I could put payment details in?! I am most displeased!

At least you know what you're dealing with cat wise Judy lots and lots of money Shock

MrsLucas · 28/01/2019 19:57

Thanks "Fennel* - sounded worth a punt.

Anyone have any intel on the Clans one? Guessing berries, peat and whiskey?

Would've been in the market for a 9ml or two. Wasn't fast enough!

UnnecessaryFennel · 28/01/2019 20:31

Well, I must admit I have a slight worry about any perfume boasting a 'stone accord' after the festival of dullness that is Comme des Garcons Concrete, but the thought of rose, incense, vanilla and rum tips the balance in its favour. We shall see!

MrsLucas · 28/01/2019 21:03

Grin I think that's the ultimate Perfumista's right of passage Fennel. I had a bottle of Bois Farine which is all about a big wet plaster note. Amusing to start with... and then... not so much. (Sorry J-CE).

MrsLucas · 28/01/2019 21:24

*rite even. Early start this morning Blush

teta · 28/01/2019 21:57

I at one stage had two bottles of bois farine. I loved it and much preferred it to Jour de fete & the Poivre one. But then like you Mrs Lucas I got bored and sold them .
Wore No Malone Nutmeg & Ginger for a doctors visit today and bought the latest Verveine from L Occitane for Hot Yoga freshness. I really want James Heeley Verveine d Eugenie but can’t afford it.
I didn’t dare look at any more perfume sales and am very glad I don’t have a cat & associated teeth woes. One dog and 4 kids are expensive enough.

MrsLucas · 28/01/2019 22:04

What do we think the vanilla-heavy perfume was that got mixed up with Opal Lights by accident to create Opal Sweets? CVC? Centrepiece? The Sexiest Scent? Perhaps you can you find out MissB? Smile

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 28/01/2019 22:06

We are almost £300 for one tooth out! And she hates us for giving her the Metacam. God.

MrsLucas · 28/01/2019 22:21

Ouch!

MrsLucas · 28/01/2019 22:31

Quite like the wet concrete note in PW/CdG Girl though - but there's a bit more going on alongside it.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 28/01/2019 22:32

And today was £160 - exam, full bloods, plus she needed a booster anyway. Our Easter trip to Paris has had to be postponed!

Destiel · 28/01/2019 23:06

Ouch judy!

UnnecessaryFennel · 29/01/2019 07:04

SOTD is By The Fireplace Wink

Destiel · 29/01/2019 07:48

Yay! By the fireplace chums :)

I've got a tiny amount of the real thing left so I'll wear that today.

Ds2 complaining of sore throat. He was the same yesterday but today he's not eating. If my kids contest I know they are ill!

Drat it.

Georgianfairy · 29/01/2019 08:01

SotD By the Fireplace here too! We've snow on the ground here so needed something warming!

Hope DS2 recovers quickly Destiel, our whole household is sniffling and coughing today but we're fit enough.

Ouch to the vet bills, finally I have an upside to being allergic to fur!
