Happy Christmas everyone!! Smile

Bit worrying to see Philip missing from church, but agree the rest look lovely - especially Kate

The woman has "Queen" written all over her

itswinetime · 25/12/2018 14:31

Apparently Meghan was in Victoria Beckham Meanwhile,

Quote from one of the papers

*37-year-old Meghan – who is expecting her first child in Spring 2019 – looked sensational in a pricey £2,250 coat from Victoria Beckham and feathered fascinator.

Despite previously saying she’d NEVER wear a Victoria Beckham designer dress, the mum-of-three accessorised her demure ensemble with a £1,550 black leather handbag and £1,350 boots also by her British designer pal.*

I remember a pp suggesting her well done that poster!

Nanasueathome · 25/12/2018 14:34

Since when has Meghan been a mum of 3?

TSSDNCOP · 25/12/2018 14:35

50 quid on it being the Fail that swore MM would never, ever, everty ever wear VB. despite VB being invited to her wedding and all. Stupid fucking Fail.

itswinetime · 25/12/2018 14:41

The quote about Victoria Beckham was Meghan in an interview with glamour magazine she said

Now what I'm starting to learn is, even though things look amazing on the hanger, it doesn't mean they're going to look amazing on me. For example, I love Victoria Beckham dresses, but I don't have the long torso to support that silhouette."

I think it was the fail who made it into a thing though as oppose to a passing comment like most of us make! Your right there!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 25/12/2018 14:44

Calculated coat opener Grin

Kate and Meghan both look wonderful. Unusually for me I think I prefer Meghan's look today, it just looks so effortless. But I'm also one for a boot/dress/coat combo.

Kate's waist looks impossible!

Spudlet I agree re. Kate looking tired. I have huge admiration for her so this isn't a bitchy thing, but I think she's being looking shattered of late.

orangecushion · 25/12/2018 14:50

Do you really think Kate is up in the night dealing with kids who have eaten too many Haribo?

They all look great though!

orangecushion · 25/12/2018 14:52

the York girls are already double breasted, so more double breasted will never work. V neck please.

MissEliza · 25/12/2018 14:59

The Queen looks amazing for a 92 year old. Angela Kelly is a treasure.
Camilla missed last week's lunch at Buckingham Palace because of a cold. You can't use the same excuse two times in a row Camilla!
Do the Kents attend Sandringham?

ElspethFlashman · 25/12/2018 14:59

I'm still in my pyjamas, lol. After the night I had, the idea of having to doll myself up to the nines by 11am makes me shudder.

Cel982 · 25/12/2018 15:02

Do you really think Kate is up in the night dealing with kids who have eaten too many Haribo?

I think just because somebody has unlimited access to household help doesn't mean they'll necessarily use it. If one of my kids was sick or upset in the night, I wouldn't leave it to someone else to deal with, regardless of how easily I could afford to do so.

ElspethFlashman · 25/12/2018 15:11

MissEliza I've had a Google and actually I don't think so. There's an article from Princess Michael a few years ago where she said she spends it in KP with the grandkids.

Also 3 Masses! Midnight Mass, then both a Catholic and Anglican one on Christmas Day!!! ShockShockShock

Even Baby Jesus would be like "It's OK, I get it, you're devout, now go home and have lunch FFS"

ElspethFlashman · 25/12/2018 15:12

And the Duchess of Kent is a noted quiet-lifer. She retired from Royal duties years ago. I don't think she does any of that Sandringham stuff anymore.

MissEliza · 25/12/2018 15:15

I don't think there's room for the Kent's and the Gloucesters any more.

GreyGardens88 · 25/12/2018 15:22

Is Philip even in Sandringham? Maybe he couldn't stand an xmas with sparkles and is holed up in Windsor on his own, don't blame him!

Rhubarbisevil · 25/12/2018 15:23

I think Camilla was keeping Philip company. Probably discussing who’s the odds on favourite at Kempton Park tomorrow.

katekat383 · 25/12/2018 15:25

If Camilla says she has a cold, then she has a cold. Prince Philip is sadly very frail now.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 25/12/2018 15:31

Post lunch coma now.
I thought the Queen s speech was moving. She did sound a little frail.
It was all about continuity and remembering loved ones who had passed on.
Noticed the first wedding clip was actually Eugenie. Definitely a favourite!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 25/12/2018 15:35

Mette Marit Christmas day

The Norwegians going to church

ElspethFlashman · 25/12/2018 15:37

I normally love a dark floral, but not keen on the blousy rose motif there.

ElspethFlashman · 25/12/2018 15:39

Oh dear, its a coat. And from the side it looks like lumpy upholstery.

MissEliza · 25/12/2018 15:49

If Camilla says she has a cold, then she has a cold. Jeez I was just being light hearted Hmm

QueenOfTheAndals · 25/12/2018 15:50

Don't worry @MissEliza most of us knew that.

I just noticed the DM has listed the price of everything M wore but nothing that K wore, and described her red Gianvito Rossi shoes as "modest".

They start at 500 quid. But they're modest apparently as opposed to Megan's boots which are 1000. For four times the material.

They really really really hate Megan.
