Thanks never I think Jigsaw only give 2 weeks for refunds though. My dd really like the light pink!

neveradullmoment99 · 13/12/2018 18:06

I really like light pink and really like the shape of the fluted sleeves. I don't think Its too short. Do you like the light or dark pink ?

neveradullmoment99 · 13/12/2018 18:07

Or I should say brighter pink?

neveradullmoment99 · 13/12/2018 18:08

I have logged on to see the bright pink one but I think the chances of it coming back in stock are pretty slim now.

neveradullmoment99 · 13/12/2018 18:14

Ive ordered these:

www.shoeaholics.com/brands/women/miss-kg/jamal-black-synthetic-miss-kg

Really like them on the Kurt Geiger website but noticed they were sold out. [As if I need a pair of boots] Then I noticed them on shoeaholics - yip that's me and ordered them. Then when I checked I realised they aren't leather. So a bit disappointed as its only leather that I usually wear [ I do have a couple of shoes that aren't though] so they may very well be a return.

Ellapaella · 13/12/2018 18:23

Love those boots never. Unfortunately out of stock in my size or if definitely have ordered a pair.

Ooh never blingy AND biker boot = fabulousness! Hope they’re comfy and as good as they look online and wouldn’t worry they’re not leather if they are comfy tbh. I have a pair of vegan/non leather DM’s which are really great and waterproof great for bike rides and didn’t need breaking in at all.
soups I do like the pale pink shade and it’s a beautiful jumper, it would combine with muted shades of blue, navy, black and taupe soooo well so even if not as striking as the bright pink I think it may work in your favour as it’s a very versatile shade to combine with other neutrals and colours

SoyYo · 13/12/2018 18:35

not I think you’re right and thank you for your comment, I agree this weather is probably doing my head in (I’m not good at coping with winter in case you hadn’t noticed Wink).
I think I know what the problem is.
I had a long drive to work meetings and back today (glad of the velvet puffa warmth) and had Joni Mitchell music on, which takes me wayyy back...it then struck me: Hush appeals to my inner rock chick but my other alter ego is the inner bohemian chick and she’s not been getting much attn on the style front.
I then remembered a coat a wore to death from (suitably named) Bohemia of Sweden...and I have found some likely candidates online.
I’m going to be ordering some things soon as I think that’s what my wardrobe is missing.
I hope DH can satisfy inner blingy chick with a piece of jewellery at Xmas, though blingy chick is not that bothered if he doesn’t.

I wonder if any of you relates to all these inner alter egos we express through what we choose to wear Hmm

SoyYo · 13/12/2018 18:41

Here is the song that’s been playing on my mind all day long

Ellapaella · 13/12/2018 19:08

Soups I like the jumper - I personally prefer the brighter shade of pink in your other photo but both are lovely.

Hi all, ..Heck I am knackered I seem to have done nothing but sleep these last 3 days, (for most of the day and night ) but i suppose thats part of the process. Yesterday was the worse tbh because it was my birthday ..and of course I wasnt getting a card or phone call. Sad.. nyway.. having got that over with , hopefully I shall feel abit better .. luckily although it wil be sad , Christmas has nevre been a big thing with the parents , but DF and Db wil be over Boxing day.. and we will be eating mums last h/m christmas pudding (oh dear Sad.. )

soy I am such a Joni fan.. my equal first favourite LP is Blue ( equal first also Astral Weeks because I am such a Van the man fan also !) ..

When will the Hush sale happen do we think..despite feeling fairly rubbish about buying clothes (I have wondered listlessly about in TKmaxx/ M&S Next etc for the last 3 weeks) I now wondering about the red Felix.
Especially as (who said it above?) it may possibly be able to be washed?..The prob is that I wash everything all the time, wear it, wash it.. (am a bit OCD in that direction , maybe dresses, jeans and trouser I can do twice) . I do often wash things that say dry clean , also

I have a 20 mention me also .. but its so expensive .. (for some reason pound signs dont seem to be working on MN? )

Laska2Meryls · 13/12/2018 20:20

Also Never what about sizing? Did you get the S or M Felix ? May i ask what your norkage size if you dont mind? ( could you Pm me if you'd prefer not to say here )

ilovecherries · 13/12/2018 20:30

It’s lovely to see you back, Laska. Big hugs. My felix dresses are actually large. I do think I would probably buy a medium now, but I certainly couldn’t go smaller. The entire internet already knows my norkage ;)

NotAnActualSheep · 13/12/2018 20:32

I love that jumper soups. It's a great shape, and I actually really like the colour. Though it's not as bright as the other one as soy said it'll tone very nicely with loads of stuff..almost like a neutral in itself. It's lovely.

And never's boots are brilliant too! Love love the sparkly bits. I think synthetic boots have a bit of bad press, but they can actually be really good quality, and that is a good make so should be fine. I've got several from beyond skin (from the sale!!) and similar makes (from my brief period of ethical living...), and they are almost indistinguishable from leather and mould to feet well and so on.

So glad you've figured out what is missing soy!! I know exactly what you mean... I have an inner hippy/ earth mother who wafts around meadows in the summer in floaty cotton maxi skirts and linen tunics. And in the autumn and winter I have a timeshare between a 1920s heiress (without the willowy figure or bank balance, unfortunately) who needs sumptuous silks, velvets and sparkly embroidery and beads on stuff, and a sensible country horsey lady in tweed, corduroy and sensible shoes and boots. I think I might have some Issues that need addressing here Xmas Grin. Love Joni Mitchell!!

EachandEveryone · 13/12/2018 20:35

I love Joni too. I think theres a new biography coming out soon. I so wanted to be around in those folky hippy times. Watching Dylan in Greenwich Village or being a hippy in Greece with Leonard Cohen. The truth is, even if that was my era, it wouldve been so far off my radar as only the rich kids got to drop out. I do love listening to the music and drifting off though.

I dont know why ive chose this week to start low carbing im climbing up the walls!

NotAnActualSheep · 13/12/2018 20:38

Hi Laska. Lovely to see you again. I'm not surprised you're knackered... But happy Birthday for yesterday FlowersCakeWineGin. Hope you managed a bit of time for "you". I think the red Felix would really suit you, actually.

Laska2Meryls · 13/12/2018 20:55

Ok am cross now I have 2 £20 mention me codes (only a couple of weeks old ) and neither are working.,,. Angry

dontcallmelen · 13/12/2018 21:00

Hello everyone, thanks for get well messages still coughing Dh reckons I have loosened some tiles on the roof.
Laska good to hear from you, happy birthday🎂🍷I think sometimes sleep is our defence mechanism, gets us away for a bit. Yy the first big occasions when loved ones are missing, funny enough I also found the first birthday far harder than Christmas💐
Soy I get what you mean, glad you have found some candidates.
I think I veer between wanting to dress like Audrey Hepburn, Jackie O Chrissy Hynde & a bit of hippy tie dye floaty with flowers in my hair gawd only knows what a therapist would make of that😂
Each hi was thinking about you the other day, Monsoon have a sale & extra discount codes i think most places have some sort of sales at the moment, lots of velvet/sparkle about.
Never love love the sparkle boots.
Soups really like the jumper, it’s pretty.

Laska2Meryls · 13/12/2018 21:03

.Am.not buying it for £110, I may call Hush in the morning.. (or most likely wont)

dontcallmelen · 13/12/2018 21:06

Missed a bit also think the Felix would suit you Laska.

Laska2Meryls · 13/12/2018 21:09

I didn't actually celebrate my birthday this year (just didn't seem right) .. but thanks anyway..

GinandGingerBeer · 13/12/2018 22:44

Nice to hear from you @Laska2Meryls, sleep is good Smile a brain and body recharge.
Love joni ❤️ just downloaded that album to listen to in the car, so thanks for that @soy
It Christmas jumper day at work tomorrow so I'm going to wear my black Hush Stella with the silver star from a few Christmas' ago with my £9 H&M jeggingything and buckle boots. (Well I think it's xmas jumper day 2mo, but not the end of the world if I've cocked up, it's not like I've gone as Elf Grin)

neveradullmoment99 · 14/12/2018 00:03

OMG I am such a Joni Mitchell fan too :) I have most of her albums since I met my dh when I was 17. I liked her best before her jazz but can listen to them too but I love For the roses, blue, Ladies of the Canyon, clouds and song to a seagull are all my favourites!!! I loved the documentary on her. She is such an interesting person. Love Woodstock live on you tube. she never even went but her song sounds like she was there.
My inner self - always hippy and a bit rock chick too.A bit like you @Soyo!!
So happy to see you back @Laska. Happy birthday Cake You deserve mega spoiling!!
As for the felix dress, my grey one is a medium so I ordered the red in a medium and its a little big on the shoulders but I think the red felix this year is more tts. I was wearing the grey one and think its definitely changed and a bit neater.

neveradullmoment99 · 14/12/2018 00:05

Glad of the vote of confidence over the boots. I will feedback at some point. They should arrive tomorrow.
