My friend has done well at Slimming World @fairiesandelves. I tend to use MFP but the longest I've managed is about 3 weeks

@fairies well done on SW! I think I need to get myself down there in Jan. I lost nearly 2 stone 3 years ago and even now in my current porky self have kept most of that weight loss as I relearnt my cooking/eating weak spots (for me it’s bread, cheese...the moment I stop eating them and indulging in a glass of wine over an evening the weight drops off so I know what I need to do...it’s just that I love good wine and bread...)
On Gudrun yes it’s rather marvellous and happy isn’t it? I love she uses older and bigger sized models. All beautiful.

@happy well done on your MV jumper! Pleased it’s perfect now. Tbh I daren't look at any more sale websites now I’ve been very very naughty at the sales already and this girl is stopping now till the big Hush sale at least...

I think this dress print is fa-bu-lous...I was tempted and if I was taller I’d get it. But it’s just one of those things I couldn’t carry off with my rather short stature ...it’s made for wafting around exotic locations (sadly I don’t do those often either)

It's my birthday today and I had a quick birthday shopping trip down to Cribbs Causeway in Bristol yesterday morning. I couldn't stay long as I was on a late shift at work but I spent most of my 2 hours in John Lewis!! Had a look at some of the Hush clothes, but once the shop assistant told me it's proper sale time at Hush from next week then I didn't buy any of the items I wanted. Definitely hoping to get the pink stella star jumper in the sale!

@Soy thank you! We are doing a loft conversion so bullied convinced DH we needed a walk in wardrobe. I literally can't wait to purge my wardrobe & fill it with clothes I LOVE rather than like.

cherries you inspired me to go running today after a long gap. No idea of distance but I ran for about 20 mins with a few short breaks. Easing myself back in!

Help! Boden haven't sent a free returns label and I'd like to send back my sales order 😱 can I take it to a shop? Do they have shops?

Also might send back my Hush order assuming the returns label they've given me is for free returns and I won't get charged for it?

The John Lewis embroidered jacket is a definite keeper and I think the Coach bag will be too so I need to send something back!

Not long back from Dh birthday lunch, am stuffed to the gills.
happy lovely jumper, boden ar always worth a look for knitwear as well, they have a brilliant sale on at the moment.
Soy love that dress, pretty colour I really like the artist smocks as well I can imagine me wafting around painting furniture in one of those.
Did manage a little shopping whilst out, Dh bought me a pair of khaki suede boots with thick furry lining from Clark’s, not the height of fashion but will be really useful when it gets cold & half price.

Huff only shop is in Chelsea, I think sometimes during sales you have to pay for returns.

Oh that's annoying. I work quite near Chelsea but still a bus ride away. It may just be easier to pay the postage or keep. The tunic is really lovely, I am just a bit meh about their ballerina pumps and trying to save some money seeing as I've gone mad in the sales!

I’m sitting in the car with DH driving...in the wilds of north Norfolk so data roaming coverage dodgy.
Stopped at the Swaffham Waitrose on the way to get some bits to cook when we arrive as I don’t feel like going out to eat or get a greasy takeaway after all the recent Xmas excesses...tomorrow I shall emulate @cherries and @soup and go for brisky beach walks despite my urge to hibernate
@Huff bother about Boden! I have so many return labels too...why don’t you email/call their CS and ask nicely? Even in the sale there’s always plenty of free post/returns codes floating about for online orders so hopefully they will understand you “forgot” to put one in your order assuming it was free returns.

I have ordered things from Gudrun in the past and their items are good quality. Love some of their prints but the shapes of things are a bit meh generally. I have ordered some things in the past and have been delighted with them. Love the jacket @soyo and the lovely wrist warmers.
Well I emailed toast about the jumper I ordered and its still lying in their warehouse so CS said it would be posted on Monday so should arrive on Wednesday. Obviously coming by snail mail

Happy am wel jel of the walk in wardrobe, that’s my dream I would have a dedicated shoe area so I could see them all, so no more hunting through boxes, been trying to persuade Dh that’s what we need in the spare room.

If not I'll give them a bell and see if they can help. To be fair if I have pay for a return at the post office I don't mind so much for Boden as the discounts have been very good. I resent the lack of free returns for Toast however when I paid a fiver for delivery. Although I think I'm keeping the skirt anyway, it's lovely. Can't believe they haven't dispatched yours yet @neveradullmoment99!
