I also got a L'0ccitane calendar as well so am being spoilt.

I bought the l'occitane calendar on impulse yesterday for my aunt who lost her husband earlier this year and had it posted to her so it was nice to get a l'occitane product as I was a bit sorry that I didn't get one for myself. It's my time to get myself a calendar so excited for the month ahead.

Got dh a radio making one and dd a bath bomb one and ds a match attax one so all happy this morning.

Not the most exciting start, but it smells lovely and I'll definitely use it - a win!

This is my first M&S advent calendar but I've had a couple of their beauty boxes before and have gone on to buy full sized versions of particular products. Loved the Origins Ginzing gel moisturiser from the summer box - have bought more of this, and the colour Wow hair dehumidifying product, and of course the EOS grapefruit lip balm.

As for this morning, yeah ok. Like verbena so all good but would have preferred something a bit more 'wow' for day 1. Still, lots more to come!

I remember being really disappointed with day 1 last year (horrible orange shimmery body lotion) so I’m DELIGHTED to get some L’Occitane

I haven’t had an advent calendar for a long time , so I’m delighted with shower gel ( even though I like real soap )
Going to the Caribbean in April , so that’s going in my toiletries bag .. but I might try it first , it smells lovely 😊

Really happy with Day 1. It smells lovely. I'm a huge fan of L'Occitane's almond shower gel so I have high hopes for this. Like Haworthia I was initially disappointed with last year's Rosie body cream and stuffed it in a drawer. On summer skin however it was fantastic - M&S should have put it in a summer box, not the advent calendar.

My first M&S calendar - had the John Lewis last year (was a bit meh for the huge price) am delighted with my l'occataine shower gel, is one of my favourites

I didn't get the M&S calendar as I'm strapped for cash thus year but just been to visit my mum and her lovely husband has bought me it as a gift! Pleased with day one, Agree not exciting as such but a good brand and good size.

I'm pleased with today's shower gel. I took it into the shower with me this morning, and then forgot to use it, oops.

This is my 4th m&s calendar, last year's was quite samey to the year before, when I had a quick scan through this year's they seemed to have shaken things up a bit.

Apparently some days are different in each calendar (like the lip balm and sponge last year) which annoys me a bit, as usually one item is better/more expensive than the alternative.

I agree with you all day 1 is a win, I travel quite a bit and off to Romania a week on Monday - so that's going in the bag. What will I do with days 11-13 when I'm not at home???

Recovery it's a brilliant mask, love how smooth it makes my skin. After getting it last year I now use almost once a week!

OK so I did it (used last years face peel) and it was easy enough. I think my face does feel a bit smoother, but also I think I didn't use quite enough so will use more next time.

Ooh been looking for this thread! Nice item today.. been looking forward to this thread - last years was fun! I'd given up on getting a calendar this year but was given £200 M&S vouchers last month as a surprise and bought the advent calendar as a treat!!!

Good start M&S. V useful for weekends away.

Bought this for my mum as her first ever beauty advent calendar so hope you don’t mind me sitting in. Sounds like a pretty positive start.
