I am so bloody excited fo Sunday

Does anyone want to join me in a discussion about the contents this year? No spoilers!

I’m not wholly sure I understand why I would want the gel. If I need to put something on under my moisturiser in order for my skin to be moisturised then I need a better/more suitable moisturiser surely? I will give it a go though once the remains of the breakouts have gone

I went through a long phase of having to keep spreadsheets of face cream ingredients and what suited my skin and what broke me out. Turns out for me, stearic acid is a no. Loads of people are fine with it. Some people will have trouble with the shea butter or the orange oil. Worth keeping track in my experience... has saved me lots of spots!

I accidently opened box 21 thinking it was 12 as was looking at it upside down.... and it was EMPTY!!! Im so hoping 21 was something rubbish anyway. If anyone has already opened 21 send me a PM to let me know what Im missing out on!

Excited to slap today’s on after my shower this morning, made my skin feel great all day, however now I have noticed that I have the beginnings of a breakout on one cheek. Hmmmmmm

I don't think using all these new products has done my skin any good, I've got loads of spots on my jaw line

It doesn't help that I started using a new face wash and moisturiser just before I started the advent calendar so it could be caused by them. I think I'll scale back until it calms down and then try a product at a time.

I wasn't very excited about getting the gel today so I might use it as a hand cream as others have suggested as I feel I've got enough skincare products to be going on with . I too would like to see a lip colour in one of the boxes

I'm quite excited it try the gel. I think it'll be useful for those really dry phases as a boost for my usual moisturiser.

I’m so in love with the elasticiser. I only used it once but even now a few days and a couple of washes later my hair is lovely. It’s honestly never been these smooth and swishy. I’m definitely going to buy this again and will also get for all the females in the family!
I love the nuxe cream and the décolletage cream too. The eye cream is nice too.
Then nail varnish chipped for me. But as everyone else seemed to love it I think it must be me, nail varnish always seems to chip on me.

I’m really enjoying mine, and it’s much better than my other one (Soap and Glory)

Just put the nail varnish on for a night out, love it - quick drying too

Lascelles drop m & s an email ...last year I had a face mask which was virtually empty and they sent me a £5 e gift voucher

NewDay the nail polish chipped on me too. I loved it when it first went on but it was chipped by evening. I reapplied, added a second coat and it chipped again. I'm going to try It with two coats and a top coat to see if it can make it through 24 hours.

I quite like most of the products, but quite honestly they don't seem to make any difference to my skin or hair. I will use them, but not repeat buy them unless I particularly like them.

The nail varnish chipped for me too, basecoat, two coats and topcoat, was badly chipped within 24 hours, I patched it up but it was badly chipped again the next day.

I've had a read of tomorrow's box to see if I can get a clue and have a guess with dd but I think my box might be empty. Watch tomorrow's be gorgeous lippie and mines gone AWOL.

I've taken photos of eyes, face and neck before starting the eye cream, the neck cream and the Ren cream (if I'm gonna repurchase I wanna see a difference haha).

I've taken some today if neck and eyes and they look exactly the same as the did before. I'm loving the neck cream but honestly the following morning the softness has gone. I don't think I'll repurchase but my little pot is still almost full so its gonna last a while yet.

Haven't tried the Percy And Reed product yet but will be doing before and after photos of that shite too 😀

I thought my box might be empty too, but it's not, it's a mini crystal nail file. I have been using the full size version of this for several years and it's absolutely brilliant, so this one can live in my desk at work for energencies.

The box says glow time? I thought oh no it’s empty but it’s a nail file. Today is the first real rubbish one for me. I have several nail files that I never use. I was hoping for some make up!

I was confused by today's too- glow time and a nail file? I wondered if this is the one where different calendars have a different item like the time some got a nice lip balm and others got a beauty blender 🤔

Today’s is boring but useful 😶

There's was a Leighton Denny glass nail file in the M&S calendar 2 years ago. I still use it now, so it's good to have another one, even though it is practical rather than exciting. I'd like a nice lipstick or sparkly eye make up to improve this weeks offerings

I have a nail file and I’m really happy about it. I’ve never had a descent nail file before - already tried it and it feels lovely and smooth on my nails , unlike those cheap sandpaper-like things I usually use. Beautifully shaped nails could emerge in time for Christmas 😀.......

I'm really disappointed with this I didn't know what it was at first so had to come on here to check! I don't use nail files as I get my nails done.. was hoping "glow time" would mean some nice bronzer or blusher..

I came to check if mine was right too because the description/clue didn’t seem to match. Happy to have a nice nail file but didn’t get excited. I’d like something sparkly or shiny tomorrow please!

On another note, my skin loved the hydro booster thing, but I do seem to react well to using multiple products/layering (bloody love The Ordinary).

Happy with my calendar so far.
