Don't apologize for bringing up Lady Pamela. I would say she is definitely pretty high on the royalty scale, actually with more "royal blood" than Beatrice or Eugenie. I recommend her memoir, Daughter of Empire: My Life as a Mountbatten. Among other interesting things, she was with the Queen in Africa when word came that George VI had died.

There was a documentary a few years ago in which she and India both showed and talked about the dresses that they wore as bridesmaids, India for Diana, and Pamela for then Princess Elizabeth.

I have it on good authority that HMQ has only fairly recently stopped grooming her horse and doing all the necessary with the tack, but still goes for a ride every single day when possible. Astonishing really

I wouldn’t react at all if I saw a member of the RF and I wouldn’t go out of my way to see them if they were scheduled to appear somewhere. The same goes for anyone who is well known e.g a politician or an actor.

Re Michael Fagan, I once worked with a guy who was into various conspiracy theories and said Fagan did much worse than just sit on HM's bed and have a chat. But if that was the case then surely he'd have "disappeared" a long time ago.

One of Diana’s dresses was bought in a charity shop for £200 and now is being sold for £100,000. here. Interesting story of how it got there. Apparently Diana had given it to one of her friends.

Kate is far more beautiful than Katie Holmes imo. How on earth that Fagan guy managed to break into BP I’ll never know. What a crazy story. I suppose it was the 80’s I teallly can’t see that sort of thing happening now.

I remember reading a story about the Queen in the Sunday Times a few years ago. It was in the days when they used Britannia to cruise up to Scotland. Britannia was moored off the coast and the Queen was having a walk along the cliffs when she came across a man lying down with his binoculars trained on Britannia. She stopped and asked him is he had seen anything. Without putting his binoculars down he said ' No nothing'. The Queen said ' Perhaps she's gone for a walk' and strolled on.

I’ve onky ever seen Prince William when he did a speech in Christchurch, NZ just after we had a big earthquake and just before his wedding. I was living in the town closest to Uluru (which is fricking Miles away) when W&K visited Australia. I so wish I’d gone now.

Facebook memories reminded me the other day that it's 6 years since I saw W&K outside kings cross station. I got annoyed as I needed to get home and they'd cordoned off the bus stop for the royal cat. A small crowd had gathered and I remember thinking how rude W&K were to just get into their car without giving as much as a wave.

The following week she was admitted to hospital with HG so I felt a bit guilty for that thought!
