I think she must be well into her second trimester now.

Camilla is either wearing The Greville or the Delhi Durban tiaras ( I am up to my photo posting limit for today!)

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 04/12/2018 22:34

Well it was announce mid October, so she’s probably 5 months coming onto 6.
Twitter said she was probably wearing Seraphine. Nice to see her wearing something fitted and bodycon.

PennyMordauntsLadyBrain · 04/12/2018 22:50

Not to lower the tone, but James Middleton was looking well in those carol service photos wasn’t he?

QueenOfTheAndals · 04/12/2018 22:53

He was looking well fit, that's for sureGrin

I prefer Kate's dress tonight to the one from the state dinner a few weeks ago but agree she suits some colour more. Shane Meghan couldn't be there tonight I'd love to see what tiara she wears. Very limited pics but her dress tonight looks nice hopefully we we'll see it again properly,

PennyMordauntsLadyBrain · 04/12/2018 22:57

Shane Meghan couldn't be there tonight I'd love to see what tiara she wears.

Surely she’d be asking for the emerald one with the dodgy provenance, only to have the DM report on it when she was told no-can-do? Grin

YorkshireIndie · 04/12/2018 22:59

The problem with the dress the DoC wore last time was that it made her look painfully thin and a tad too long. The one tonight was amazing.

Queen looks like she is thinking 5 hrs until bedtime, 4hrs and 55 mins until bedtime...

itswinetime · 04/12/2018 23:00

Penny 😂😂

If it means we get to see a new tiara I'm with Meghan 😂😂

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 04/12/2018 23:10

Actually think kate looks lovely tonight although agree richer tones suit her better.
Delighted to see her wearing The Royal Order-
However please would someone explain to me the difference between that and the blue sash's which are clearly honorary??
What are they for and how do you get one?
Help me my lovely Royal style gurus!!!

SenecaFalls · 04/12/2018 23:10

Actually, it would be great for Meghan to show up somewhere in the Vladimir, fully loaded with emeralds. And grinning from ear-to-ear.

Bloominglovely · 05/12/2018 00:59

Both Meghan and Kste look beautiful tonight.

Has Kate had some work done? An eye lift? She looks quite startled and I thought the same when she was wearing the plaid skirt but assumed it was just the angle of the photo earlier.

I’d say Harry is pissed off with the press and we won’t get many photos of them for a good while. I’d do the same and make it as hard for journalists as I could, What’s the worst that can happen given the spiteful drivel they are intent on publishing.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 05/12/2018 04:43

Without doubt Harry is pissed off with the press. However, the irony is despite the endless attacks against her this week; with Meghan, she knows the deal and that the press need a story.
I suspect now that the bump is fully evident and we’ve also had lots of pictures of Kate (incidentally in pole position) thé stories should start dying Down.
Hopefully the men in grey should be satisfied that Meghan «knows her place» ( their interpretation, not mine).
Just as an aside, the Jeffrey Epstein case is starting in the US. There were thoughts that all of this distraction was to divert attention away from that « the bigger story «

QueenOfTheAndals · 05/12/2018 07:13

The Epstein case will be interesting. Andrew should be very worried...

OP posts:
TyraAllen · 05/12/2018 07:47

The Epstein case was settled just before jury selection, so there will be no court case, yet again.

The most likely option for the details getting out now is a congressional investigation of Alex Acosta.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 05/12/2018 07:49

@Paradyning
That article on the orders was interesting.
So Kate just has that yellow order with a miniature of the Queen. What is that then?

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 05/12/2018 07:54

Ok I answered my own question 'Kate's order' is for service to the Queen. Both Sophie & Camilla have been given the Royal Victorian order.

QueenOfTheAndals · 05/12/2018 07:57

Oh I didn't realise that. How convenient...Hmm

QueenOfTheAndals · 05/12/2018 08:03

Good article on the case. Amazing what you can get away with when you've got money and friends in high places.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 05/12/2018 08:08

I have disappeared down a rabbit hole of Royal Orders 'here It is rather fascinating. They are not handed out after the particular Monarch had died. The Queen is the only living recipient of an order from her Grandfather King George VI. HM and Princess Alexandra both have orders from George VI. If the Queen lives long.enough maybe Meghan will.be the last recipient. It took Kate 7 years (and 3 children ) to receive her royal "blue.peter badge"

QueenOfTheAndals · 05/12/2018 08:15

Meanwhile, in Denmark, Princess Marie continues to be a royal chameleon. I've always thought she resembled CPM and Kate but in that second photo she also looks like Letizia!

OP posts:
CurlyWurlyTwirly · 05/12/2018 08:18

She does a bit there @Queen
She appears to be quite a workhorse. A bit like the Sophie Wessex of the Danish Royal Family

QueenOfTheAndals · 05/12/2018 08:32

And also like Sophie, a tendency to get overshadowed by more glam inlaws!

OP posts:
Spudlet · 05/12/2018 09:01

I don't suppose Megan will do many tiara-type events, will she? Maybe in the far future, if Harry goes to things as a stand-in for William when he becomes king?

Sophie's profile isn't all that high, but that seems the best place to be to me - all the privileges, a good bit of the work (she does seem to do a lot, in fairness), but not half the scrutiny. Although she had her fair share and then some with the topless pics and the Fake Sheik thing - she had her baptism of fire too. The Royal ladies need a support group!
