I've always wondered how someone with as many years experience in PR as Sophie managed to get sucked in by the fake sheikh.

I would so love it if it came out that the ‘married in’ ladies have a WhatsApp group & are laughing at all the things spouted!

I was all bemused about the reading Meghan did but having read the maraboutmeghan blogpost (I don't do Daily Mail in any way, which means I do miss an awful lot of good pictures. But I'm not giving them my CLICK! ), I think actually it's okay for her to have read. This is an annual event and for these types of services, honestly, they can get a bit dull with the same old people. It's all about showing support and I suspect she has become close to the family on some level simply because Harry is so close to them.

.... I'm assuming at least half the time was spent ranting about being thrust into the spotlight as women of colour and how fickle and bitchy the media is, with a few specific hints and tips from MO thrown in! I'd love to have been a fly on THAT wall!

Sophie's interview with the Fake Sheikh was truly awful. She was clearly using her royal insider secrets to dazzle him and lure him into giving her his business. It is amazing how she has rehabilitated herself through hard work and parenthood.

Its the word "feud" I find so annoying. Feud is a pretty big word. And frankly is pretty unlikely. Tension? Sure. Struggling to adjust to the new dynamic? Absolutely.

But these are two women in their 30s who are married to men they genuinely seem to love, living their lives on the world stage. I simply can't believe they are are so petty as to be actively trying to destroy each other (which is what "feud" suggests). It took me years to settle into a happy relationship with my SIL, and I'm still working on it with my newest one, who has been with my brother for 5 years.

Personally, I think they should address it directly. But not in a palace statement. A joint event, and a joint speech, making some very pointed comments about bullying, family relationships etc. No need to be subtle. Polite, dignified, regal... absolutely. But they're strong confident women who I think have the right to actually speak out for themselves.

Just looking at the photos from last night. Kate looks fabulous. I really like Camilla's outfit too, she gets it right every time. The Queen looks a bit lonely and grim. She must really miss Philip these days. How many women her age are doing what she has to do? She must long to stay at home by the fire with her corgis. Charles just looks old and unwell these days I think.

I can't see Charles last as long as his mum, I'm sorry to say. I know there's a lot of talk about the Windsor longevity, but I guess it's the Strathmore longevity really. Although what's the DoE's excuse then?? And it was really only the QM and her father who lived well into old age. The rest of her siblings were all dead before they were 80.

I agree Queen - I can't see him at 92 still performing all the duties of a King.

I'm struggling to see him do it at 82 tbh. Good job it's no longer treasonous to say that or it'll be off to the Tower for me!

I'd have loved Sophie's role these last few years - she got to go to all the European Royal Weddings and wear a tiara for most of them. Lucky girl.

Sophie deserves to get some fun gigs. She has to do so many boring ones.
Why does everyone think Charles is so ill & elderly looking?

Charles has always had an air of old fogey about him, even in his youth, but we're seen a lot more of him in the past few months and I've thought he was looking very elderly. He's only 2 years older than Anne but in comparison she seems to have looked the same since about 1981!

I like that blog, it's not the quickest but it gives a good bit of context for each engagement, which is interesting. The detail on that dress is gorgeous. So pretty.

I think she will be at state dinners on a regular basis. If Kents and Gloucesters are invited regularly, surely Sussexes will be. For the most recent one, they were out of the country.

Oh yes, I'd forgotten that Princess Nasty Brooch was at the last one. I guess we will get to see Megan in a tiara then - excellent!

Charles will be at President Bush's funeral this morning, representing the Queen.

Bit late to the discussion today. Loved Kate's tartan ensemble yesterday. She's a very beautiful woman but I do wish she would blend her blusher properly. It looks painted on sometimes. If you're reading ma'am, with the greatest of respect, use a triple mirror so you get the side view. You're welcome.

Love seeing PW in his fleeces and pullovers. Looks very cosy.

Kate is very beautiful because she engages well with people and has a dazzling grin.
