That outfit was truly terrible. Skirt way too short, ugly shoes, jacket proportions all wrong, hair a proper mess. MM looked better but still too short in the skirt. I wonder if they coordinate their colours in order to make the pics less interesting for the papers? That would be quite a neat trick.

I had an epiphany in John Lewis today. The reason why Kate's jigsaw suit looks dated is because it's at least 10 years old. Kate's message is "Get me! Three kids and 15 years later and I can still fit into this little suit." That still doesn't excuse the ribbon though. If she wears a velvet scrunchy next week then I'll definitely know the 90s are back.

Velvet ribbons and scrunchies are super fashionable at the moment. Was just browsing netaporter and saw a lot on there.

I like the flippy skirt personally. But I really wanted to smooth her pony tail out a bit - it was bumpy!

I much prefer Kate in this berry coloured Coat than yesterday’s dated ensemble, she needs to dust this one off again.

That is a gorgeous coat. I don't get why she does some repeats, not others. Imagine having her wardrobe, though, you'd be spoilt for choice!

I think Maxima did the red combo best with her scarlet trouser suit & claret blouse. I'd live to see Kate in trouser suits. But not those skinny ones but a high waisted flared pantsuit with heels, in a colour like teal or crimson.
