7salmonswimming I don’t know, that’s a bit harsh. I don’t equate William not appreciating paps screaming “whore!” at his mum and wife to get a reaction, with hatred of ordinary people. He has never shown anything but respect to the rest of us, unlike, say Andrew who does present as entitled and arrogant.
I’m sure however Will knows it’s our insatiable interest in them that drives the papers and others to extremes to get a story and so is doing his best to give us what we want while protecting his family. Don’t forget Anne endured an attempted kipnapping and the Queen was shot at during a parade (luckily they were blanks). There are real and frightening dangers to his family.
